So, did this “absolutely crazy” person say all of this craziness when her “beloved” President George W Bush raised the debt ceiling (how many times?). Where was this outrage and “saged wisdom” then? She needs to save herself (more importantly, US) and just go somewhere, sitdown and shut the hell up!

I can’t believe this woman is leading in all the Republican candidate polls. She’s leading Romney 25 to 21 in Iowa. Just wow.

    • July 12, 2011 at 10:58 am

I can believe she is leading. This is what the Tea-Republican Party have become. As I have said before, Ronald Reagen is rolling over in his grave over what’s become of his party. Reagen raised taxes seven times, Reagen and Speaker Tip O’Neal made a deal to strenghten Social Security. But these so call leaders have no guts to do these things. I feel so sorry for the President some times that he has to deal with these right wingnuts and the lefties too.

OMG, Kay, I couldn’t agree more. I’m torn: one half of me is appalled, the other half hopes she wins the primary so POTUS can crush her like a rotten grape. Then again, be careful what you wish for, eh? (sigh)

I was wondering the same thing…you know Rachel would have been all up in arms, yelling and making those faces while reporting about the “get the gay out therapy”. She would have been shouting out from the moutaintops. When the video of DR. Bachmann calling gays barbarians, I sent her an email asking her when was the first and last time President Obama called gays names…NEVER! I asked her why did she hate President Obama?

Explain to me one thing: if Michelle Obama didn’t splurge once in a while, wouldn’t certain ppl be all over her for her unbending, spartan ways? I would think the occaisional indulgence would just highlite how reasonable her take on a healthy diet is! Sheesh…

      • July 12, 2011 at 11:23 am

Did anyone see Michelle Obama doing push ups and sit ups when she was in S. Africa. Meaning this woman exercise. And this is crap from the right who is trying to get after her over this childhood obesity campaign. Mrs. Obama never said that you can’t eat some of the things you want to, it’s okay to have a slice of cake, just not the whole cake. Now they are watching what the First Lady eat. Everytime she eats out I guess she will have to eat only carrots, celery, and drink water. To “H” with them.

        • July 12, 2011 at 11:27 am

Continue to fight for our children Mrs Obama. You will always have my support.

          July 12, 2011 at 12:18 pm

Right…everything in moderation. Mrs. Obama has never pushed extremism…and anybody and everybody who exercise (push ups, sit ups, run with two gallon water jugs and do the dougie) can eat whatever they want to, whenever they want too. Mrs. Obama is a grown ass woman., she can do what she want to do without anybody saying anything…excuse me, but this kind of craziness gets on my last nerve!

It’s ridiculous. The Washington Post over the weekend had that as the main story on their frontpage. They also had it on twitter. Mrs.O has always said everything in moderation. She is healthy. She exercises. If she wants to indulge once in while, WTF is wrong with that and how does it affect anyone of these rabid tabloid hacks.

          • July 12, 2011 at 3:23 pm

How low have the Washington Post sunk? Are they sitting there watching everything the First Lady eat? Do they have someone trying to fine out whenever she goes out? It is just plan stupid. But that’s the WP.

  7. July 12, 2011 at 11:10 am

And about that paper where Bachmann sign, and how Cnn David Gergen tried to take up for her. Regardless what the facts were it does not make Bachmann look to good. But the whole thing just piss me off, because Bachmann doesn’t know a darn thing about black people. Any idiot would know that children born into slavery did not have a good life even if they did have two parents, which they didn’t. Fathers were sold, mothers were sold, and the children were sold, rip apart at times. What was great about that Mrs. Bachmann?

It says something about the MSM that I had to come here to find out about this. Obama has been bashed heavily for getting us into “5 or 6” wars, making him “worse than Bush” by the frustrati. Never mind that Iraq is just about over-they fuss about a few troops left behind after December 31st. Never mind that he’s set a timetable for Afghanistan. In their minds Obama is just like Bush. Yeah, as if Bush even tried to end his at all.

But the Libya thing really gets me. We have no troops on the ground (maybe CIA folks and advisors, but they are usually there anyway), and we are shooting off rockets that we already have anyway, but Obama is just like Bush. We have ended bin Laden not by bombing the neighborhood, but Obama is just like Bush. Quadaffi is about to give up and surrender to his own people, not die under American bullets-but Obama is just like Bush.

God, I had to cut crazy eyes Bachmann off, I can’t stand to hear her voice. Thought you kids would get a kick out of this TPM story about Huntsman’s “campaign.”

A line from the story: ” In a teaser by Public Policy Polling (D) for their upcoming numbers of Utah, it is dryly noted that Huntsman would “hold Romney to a 68 pt lead head to head.” Ouch.”

With Bachmann now leading in Iowa, which is like the twilight zone, maybe it’s time for the media to start questioning some of her story, which to date they have just accepted as fact. First of all, it is obvious that her husband has been living a lie, another gay-hating gay which seems to be rampant in the Republican Party. The media keep addressing her husband as “Dr.” when there is reporting all over the “internets” that his Ph.D is bogus. He claims he earned it at some correspondence grad school in Ohio called the Union Institute, which no longer exists. The Oh. Bd. of Regents put the whole operation on probation and dissolved the grad school for low standards and basically being a big joke. And an investigation showed that in the time period that “Dr. Marcus” claimed to have earned his PH.D there in clinical psychology, that degree was not even offered then. And some news outlets have inquired about all those foster kids they claim to have “raised” and the Bachmann campaign says they’ll back to them on that and there is never a response. There is all kinds of conflicting info about those foster girls, some having been “raised” in their home for a week or two. Think it’s weird that none have been produced to speak glowingly of the Bachmanns. And Michele’s claim that she is biblically submissive to her husband and he has made all her life decisions which she never agreed with—-marrying him, going to law school, running for office etc. This is a weird duo. And all the media does is gush about how talented she is politically, ignoring all the glaring troubling aspects about her life, so anxious are they to get some kind of popular Repub candidate.

I fully concur with everything you wrote dotster. He should just come out of the closet and stop being a homophobe; it is clearly unhealthy in his case. When the righwting did their bogus undercover expose of ACORN, everyone was up in arms demanding ACORN be shut down. Yet there are holes in everything the Bachmann camp says and the PL and msm are mysteriously quiet.

Wow, dotster. Thanks for the info. I confess I avoid her at all costs. If she wins in Iowa the MSM will have their next shiny object and the circus will go into full blown idiocy.

If she gets further than Iowa…we’ll make sure this stuff gets asked! What comes to mine is FRAUD…personally, politically. That includes her husband. Question to all of you….how many votes during Bush years did Bachmann vote to raise the debt ceiling? That would leave a mark!

    July 12, 2011 at 1:13 pm

This woman is a twit! Yes, she should be asked about her votes on the debt ceiling when George W. Bush was in office.

Wasteful programs?????? Let’s get rid of farm subsidies where her family has been raking in federal funds for quite some time!

This woman has been living off of the government all of her adult life! IRS employment. State official. Representative in the U.S. Congress. Even her family business gets government funding through grants.

She needs to be asked some hard-ball questions that do not allow her to spin with her talking point rhetoric!
