Lisa, I am here to say, Rachel Maddow basically gave not one bit of credit to President Obama tonight. Not one. I curse that woman for her childish behavior. She acted as if the repubs just gave up. Then she has on an uber progressive from Arizona, and they both make it clear that we need to ride Obama behind.

Please contact this woman. No more Rachel. She sucks. dr

Rachel STILL hasn’t gotten over the Anthony Weiner penisgate saga, she will NOT let it go.

And the Republicans only “gave up” because Obama has them by the balls. Obama already tried the Maddow way: a clean bill that raises the debt ceiling, test votes were held and they failed in both the House and Senate. Now that President Obama proposed MORE cuts than what the Republicans wanted, suddenly they don’t want to play tough anymore. Obama deserves a lot of credit, and Rachel can bugger off.

Oh Dorothy, I got rid of that scourge a long time ago. Ever since the night before she called PBO a liar on national tv I told her exactly what I thought of her and that if I ever watched her show again I would definitely be voting repug. I have kept my promise and haven’t watched her. I even went as far as to totally remove MSNBFOX from my viewing list. Today was the first time in an while that I’ve watched MSNBFOX and only for Lawry cause I heard he was on fire the night before. I highly doubt she reads our e-mails or cares what we think but I still believe we should always let our displeasure with her lying ways be known. But I also think that one of the most effective ways to get her attention is to limit our intake of her toxic fumes. The most important thing to her isn’t speaking the truth–it’s ratings. Therefore, we must get her where it hurts- her bottom line i.e.: lower viewership. I will write to her Dorothy, make no mistake, inaction breeds complicity and if there is one thing I will never do, is stab PBO in the back by default.

On behalf of us, Lisa, will you notify her that your enormous TOD and other tweeter followers have decided to boycott her show. 😦

I’m with you Lisa. I haven’t watched Rachel since she insulted PBO with no justification. I tried watching her today since Lawrence O’Donnell was great, but she started out in silly mode and then brought on some crazy professional leftie and started blaming PBO for being weak on debt ceiling debate. I switched super fast to The Office.

As requested, I sent Ms. Maddow a note a few minutes ago:

          Dear Ms. Maddow,
As per my previous e-mails to you and your fellow underlings, I have stopped watching your show. If you don’t remember, I vowed that if I ever watched your mediocre tripe again, I would vote republican come 2012. As I do not like or even want a republican anywhere the office of the presidency, it’s highly unlikely that I will ever lower myself to watch you undermine and denigrate this president. Unfortunately, though I have been living a worry free existence since I exorcised you from my television listings, I have friends and fellow blog members who still appear to believe that there is some hope for you yet and that you aren’t a total and absolute witless twit all the time. They also appear to think that you serve some purpose in seemingly highlighting the errant nature of the Greed Over People party. I wish I had such belief in your humanity and even more importantly, in your mental faculties. I do not, so I don’t waste my time with your constant poutrage that the president obviously didn’t or doesn’t listen to your very savvy and erudite political counsel–nay, nagging and belittling– after all, you are the constitutional scholar, you are the one who has a history steeped in the ins and outs of politics, in fact, you were the one elected by the majority of Americans to lead and be president of these United States!
I remember some time ago when I was silly enough to watch your show, you did a segment about giving credit where credit is due in regards to this president–it wasn’t that long ago, I’m sure you can remember it too. In it, you talked about how this president walked softly but carried a big stick. If I remember correctly, you discussed all the wonderful things he has done in the past 2.5 years and you reflected on the fact that people wouldn’t give him credit for his tireless work. Tonight, on the precipice of the Greed Over People party’s imminent defeat over the debt ceiling, I heard that you and you’re fellow so called progressive trolls and underlings had yourselves a congratulatory party and insisted that you all must keep this president’s feet to the fire so that he can-presumably- do what you want him to do which is to not cut a deal with the congressional republicans. My dear, let me set you straight. You and your fellow gadabouts had absolutely nothing to do with what has been occurring since the near government shutdown earlier this year. This has been a long game played by the president, his advisors, Nancy and Harry. These people have worked tirelessly, searched for and evaluated every angle to keep the republicans from driving this country and it’s citizens off the edge of the cliff. In doing this, the president has incurred the wrath of know-nothings like you and Ed and Keith. You add nothing to the conversation but pure impulse, you are all sound and fury, signifying nothing. Perhaps it is best to learn from your betters. I would recommend that instead of wasting hours upon hours bloviating upon issues you obviously know nothing about, you actually study politics, strategy and find a way of communicating the pure, distilled, honest to goodness truth.
Best of luck recapturing your credibility.

tsholley11…. I meant to sign the email with my TOD.
    Anyway, you are welcome.
I really hope that I don’t have any clients scheduled at that time. I would hate to miss the call.

Yes lisa she is a keeper. I just received a phone call about 30 minutes ago about this call up tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have a treadmill stress test at that time. Wish I could be a part of it.

This may have been discussed and I missed it but did anyone get a large executive letter from the DCCC with President Barack Obama in large letters on the front and a DO NOT BEND stamp? It was a two page front and back letter from President Obama along with a sideview picture of his face with his fist on his chin as in deep thought. We’ve had it here before. Anyway, I was just thrilled. They just wanted more money. 😆

Great idea to interact with voters and supporters alike and get more indepth information on what fights, issues and bills we need them to work on. Also more unified support of PBO by dems would be HIGHLY appreciated.

Nancy is not the only Democrat supporting President Obama, Debbie Wasserman Shultz is too. She sent me an email (which Chips turned into its own thread) with a link about an event happening on July 16th called “The Day of Action.” Debbie is such a sweetheart 🙂

Rachel is rude, loud, and out of control. She does not deserve the honor of our ratings because she feels that if the President does not move when she says to, she gets pissed. I do not like bullies. She is one, and I do not tolerate anyone who does not have respect for President Barack Obama. No One.
