Crush ’em Pres O and Nancy P.

Oh gawd, just saw the last pic. He’s hopeless.

      • July 10, 2011 at 6:39 pm

Pres looks so fresh-faced and young in that first pic.

I saw the picture too. He looks like the waterworks are set to begin and there’s no way to stop them. PBO just looks fresh as a daisy, calm, he’s smiling, he’s in control, plus he’s got his game face on. Gosh to be a fly on the wall.

Boehner: (sniff sniff), but Mr. President please, please don’t make me look like a nitwit in front of my teabagger caucus.

PBO: Well, look John, You brought this mess on yourself.

          Boehner: But, but …… but….

PBO: No, no, John you may cry until thy kingdom come, or until your personal bartender pages you for your rotating round of hilarious drunkeness, but I will NOT cut taxes for your bar buddies.

Boehner: Oh….. ok….. I guess I’ll have to tell my caucus what bigger balls you have and how painfully inadequate I am ball-wise, figuratively and literally; just ask my wife.

PBO: I’m glad you’ve finally come to that realization. Took you long enough.

Chipsticks you are faster than CNN to break picture news. Do you have a “source” in the administration who sources you the pictures this fast?

Looks like the Prez is not a coffee drinker. Someone refresh my memory, does the Presidnet drink coffee?

    • 16 meta
      July 10, 2011 at 6:40 pm

No. He doesn’t drink coffee and I don’t think he even drinks hot tea.

    • July 10, 2011 at 6:41 pm

I don’t think so. Remember during the primaries when he ordered orange juice with his breakfast and the msm thought this was elitist? Oh, I hate them with a passion.

        July 10, 2011 at 6:52 pm

He drinks Honest Tea. There was a Republican ad criticizing him for this and calling him “high maintenance” because of it.

        • 21 HZ
          July 10, 2011 at 7:32 pm

I love the Honest Tea. He started me drinking it. In fact when the msm found out his most favorite, my source at my speciality store told me that flavor was their best at the time. I was picking up an oder one time, and this lady was looking so hard, I had to tell her that the President’s favorite and I now have the same taste. She started up a decent conversation with me as we were leaving.

Man, just thinking back at how he was treated during the primary and the general must makes me gag. The mustard, the arugula, the orange juice, the fist bump, the flag pin, the national anthem. On and on and on. So much stupidity in one place.

      • July 10, 2011 at 7:12 pm

How is orange juice elitist? for christsakes.

bjw2, Do you think non-coffee drinkers look younger/ fresh faced? i do not drink coffee either but I haven’t heard anyone describing me as youthful and glowing although that’d be a great bonus! πŸ˜€

      • July 10, 2011 at 7:30 pm

No m, I had realized that i’ve never seen the president or Michelle sipping coffee. I forgot about the orange juice nonsense during the campaign…..imagine that it’s now become something political to ding your opponent over just because he doesn’t drink coffee.

I find it very amusing that those who walked out on the budget/debt limit talks with VP Biden a couple weeks ago have to come crawling back to the “weak” PBO to get help getting out of the hole that they and their colleagues dug for themselves! It doesn’t look like they wanted to miss this photo-op with our wonderful president.. It’s sick how much they crave attention from someone they’ve attacked mercilessly with their baseless mess and political games! They most certainly ARE children playing at being adults as some in the media have begun to say.

      July 10, 2011 at 9:59 pm

I don’t feel sorry for him at all, Nellcote, and here’s why: Boehner courted the tea partiers, helped to get them elected, made saying ugly things and telling lies about PBO his main thing to do and showed zero remorse for doing these things. If he had wanted to be taken seriously as the Speaker, he should have behaved that way all along. IMO, he has acted in a most unprofessional manner, and so have the rest of the right-wingers seated at the table with PBO and the democrats. There comes a time in one’s life when one needs to grow up and act like an adult, and if the person doesn’t, he/she deserves every bit of derision he/she receives. PBO didn’t shoot him or the rest of the republicans in Congress in both feet, they did it to themselves by taking extreme positions for the heck of it– just because they could.

    Hi Everyone

I was a daily visitor to OFA prior to change in format since 2008. My sig was ‘supporter in sydney’. I still visit it every now and then and was grateful to have found BWD from OFA. Of course while visiting TOAitR I found TOD and love them both! Your sites are now part of my daily catchups along with whitehouse.gov (my main source). As you may have figured, I live in Sydney so can’t vote…however, I am and will continue to be a very proud supporter of President Obama.

I only just joined in tweeting the #GOPFAIL and #MEDIAFAIL so I hope to do my part, adding to your tweet voices. I just tweeted the following…. The GOP should have read the Grover Norquist Pledge NOT the Constitution when they opened 112th Congress. Their true allegiance.#GOPFAIL.

Then sweet BO gave the Speaker one of his special handshakes that the First Lady taught him to give. Love it. He will be whimpering, puddles of a strange brown substance on the ground. The SS will again be called to sniff out the substance for terriorist threat. “Stand down everbody, just Tanning Solution.”

Cantor wants Boehner’s job….I don’t think that’s a secret. I think he will do anything to stop this legislation to make Boehner look bad;he told Boehner there was no way the House Republican caucus would go for the deal with cutting tax loopholes, and Boehner backed down. Boehner is in a box no matter what way he goes. If he agrees with the president, he loses clout with the rightwing, by cutting out on the deal, he’s lost power and clout in the country, this is a no-win for him, no matter what he says when this ends. There are NO grownup Republicans left in the House.
When I heard the news of Betty Ford’s passing this week, I thought back to how different Republicans were when Gerald Ford was minority leader! The two sides co-operated for the good of the country. Gerald Ford would NEVER have let the situation get so perilous. These people are truly scum.
