Once this is voted down by ballot, the Obama Campaign or the DNC needs to tap Governor Strickland for a highly visible role in the 2012 elections. The White House’s rural council would have been ideal for Strickland – he is a man you could put in any rural town in America to sell the Democratic platform. His story might be old hat to Ohioans, but would be new and compelling outside of Ohio.

Strickland is the face of the SB5 campaign so will not be available until after the referendum vote.

Nothing can withstand the chorus of millions of voices calling for change. -Pres. Barack Obama

Now we know the #mediafail will fail on this also, so please tweet or email the address for this video and story to the media and ask why we are not hearing about millions of voices standing together like we hear all about it when a teabagger takes a piss. The Transportation Workers Union website (who made the video) to send to the media is http://www.twu.org/

We have to keep calling them out. This silence is what they did to the thousands of marches and gathering FOR the public option. Thanks for everyone’s involvement.

Kasich and his cronies are still up to playing games, as they planned on trying to split the vote to 4-5 issues in hoping to confuse folks and having portions remain. They would have had some that needed yes votes to repeal and others that would have needed no voted to repeal. However that was rejected, and then they said they really weren’t considering doing that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to switch the language of the referendum question so that a “yes” would be necessary to repeal – just because all the sloganeering has been “No on SB 5”.

they can’t win on their merits so they lie, cheat and steal. They repeatedly scream voter fraud while using slight of hand to disenfranchise voters and commit their own sleazy types of voter fraud.

I wonder what they see when they look in the mirror?

The good: Lots of jobs in the industry of the future.

The bad: I keep hearing of lots of these projects but they are always headed by a foreign corp. HSR in Calif. by the Chinese comes to mind.

Before long all these big growth companies in America will be held by foreign corps. While the smaller ones are American owned. I don’t see that as a good thing down the road.

Which goes to the larger issue of the smaller companies are taking advantage of the incentives by this admin, while many larger corps are holding back in attempt to gain back control of the whitehouse.

This is so positive and encouraging. Thanks for this video, Chipsticks. There has been a generation or two that has grown up with the security of unions and don’t remember the struggle, pain, and violence that people had to go through to have unions. I loved the comment by the man that said people had come together and bonded through this petition drive. It’s good for everyone to remember why we have unions and how valuable they have been to all of us.
