“Maybe, I’m just dumb”, Halperin says in the video in his criticism of the president’s SOTU address.

    Who can argue with that!!

    Go figure.

BTW, anyone got his e-mail address? I’d like to e-mail him a nice little note with this piece attached

He’ll be back on MorningJoke soon enough, mark my words….they don’t give a shit…..either that or they’ll keep racist Buchanan as a regular. and Halperin will end up at Fox.

Buchanan was worse than usual this morning.

Well we know Buchanan still admires that dirty dog Nixon. I heard him this morning when he said the market did really well because of the GOP stance. Buchanan is a filthy dog liar, the market did so well because of Greece deal, manufacturing orders picked up and because we have a Great President who has turned the economic ship around for everyone.

If the GOP had their wish we would all be working for $2.00 an hour…

I just saw on twitter this morning something about the President not using Air Force 1…I have no idea what he said….but coming from him, I am 100% positive that it was crap.

Buchanan said that President Obama did not need to spend the money to fly on AF1.

I guess the President should fly coach, and not spend money on secret service protection either. Buchanan think those fancy smancy things like AF1 and SS is only for white presidents.

That’s right, the President should be confined to the noisy little cramped AirTran regional prop jets…even when flying out west or abroad.

              We’ve got ourselves a winner ^^^^^ 😀

Buchannan probably thinks the President should be cleaning the toilets of AF1 not riding in it

In spite of many complaints from the public, MSNBC keeps that racist Buchanan as a talking head, I have no doubt they will have the Dick Halperin back soon. They just don’t care.

      • July 5, 2011 at 3:27 pm

Coming on the heels of the actions by the woman at MSNBC and Halperin, what this tells me is that MSNBC condones this kind of nastiness directed at this president.

Those who watch them need to boycott that station.

I watched Buchanan this morning on Morning Joe and it amazes me that people who supposedly went to college to earn a journalism degree could allow this schmuck to spew crap out of his ass everytime he appears. I’m like dude he worked in the Nixon whitehouse and was partly covered in the filth of Watergate. He’s an out and out liar.

You are all absolutely right, Debz, MSNBC doesn’t care. May be our answer is to stop watching MSNBC and wage campaign to urge those of us who support the President to stop watching programs like Morning Joe. I have been back and forth on this because I realize the importance of monitoring them. But I am now convinced that boycotting TIME and Morning Joe, and his main sponsor, Starbucks, will send the quickest message to those media institutions.

          I agree with you Nathan!!!

A loud camapaign boycotting MSNBC and their ad dollar sponsors is what’s called for!!!

Let’s start now not just boycotting them, but loudly declaring why!!!

    • July 5, 2011 at 1:51 pm

I figured that out a couple of months ago. They call themselves liberals in the house, the ones screaming at the president on tv, they are green party as well.

It is all about the Green party!!!

None of these idiots ever supported President Obama, but yet go out each day screaming about being his base and how he’s “disappointed” them!!!

Dishonest fakes!!! Karma, please visit these folks soon and please stay a while with every one of them!!!

The piece by Extreme Liberal was excellent, especially since it was peppered with telling links.

I hope everyone had a good Fourth, without sweltering to death. Here, it was blessedly cloudy and we’ve been promised a week of afternoon showers. What a relief. All the hay appears to be in and the fields could use the extra water and less scorching heat.

GREAT LITTLE BACKGROUND CHECK ON HALPERIN’S ‘FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE!’ I DON’T KNOW HOW THE PRESIDENT HAS THE PATIENCE HE HAS WITH ALL OF THE RIDICULOUS MOUTHS THAT ARE DRESSED IN SUITS. THEY PRESENT NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE ATTITUDES AND WANT TO DRAG THE COUNTRY INTO A PIT OF DARKNESS! TO SAY THE LEAST…THEY DISGUST ME!

WHAT CONSERVATIVES REALLY WANT by George Lakoff

—Dedicated to the peaceful protestors in Wisconsin, February 19, 2011

The central issue in our political life is not being discussed. At stake is the moral basis of American democracy.

    ———————————————-
The individual issues are all too real: assaults on unions, public employees, women’s rights, immigrants, the environment, health care, voting rights, food safety, pensions, prenatal care, science, public broadcasting, and on and on.
Budget deficits are a ruse, as we’ve seen in Wisconsin, where the Governor turned a surplus into a deficit by providing corporate tax breaks, and then used the deficit as a ploy to break the unions, not just in Wisconsin, but seeking to be the first domino in a nationwide conservative movement.

Deficits can be addressed by raising revenue, plugging tax loopholes, putting people to work, and developing the economy long-term in all the ways the President has discussed. But deficits are not what really matters to conservatives.
Conservatives really want to change the basis of American life, to make America run according to the conservative moral worldview in all areas of life.

In the 2008 campaign, candidate Obama accurately described the basis of American democracy: Empathy — citizens caring for each other, both social and personal responsibility—acting on that care, and an ethic of excellence. From these, our freedoms and our way of life follow, as does the role of government: to protect and empower everyone equally. Protection includes safety, health, the environment, pensions and empowerment starts with education and infrastructure. No one can be free without these, and without a commitment to care and act on that care by one’s fellow citizens.

The conservative worldview rejects all of that.

Beyond disgusting Dakota – and it got worse today, it looks like they also hacked in to the phones of the parents of two other young girls who were murdered. In the first case, Milly Dowler, the parents thought their daughter might be alive because voicemails were being deleted by the News of the World guy to make room for new ones. Rupert Murdoch’s media empire sure has class.

Hm. It’s kind of hard to claim that one is the victim of hacking when one was caught with his hand in the hacking jar, isn’t it Ruppie? 🙄 Nothing about Fox and it’s nasty affiliates surprises me any more, and that’s a sad thing. 😐

Many of you probably know this but Friday on Cenk’s show Buchanan said President Obama did not have the “cojones” to stand up against the Republicans on the debt limit.

    • 39 utaustinliberal
      July 5, 2011 at 4:50 pm

Oh yeah he did. It’s the same crap he was spewing about the govt shutdown debate and President Obama came out and dealt the republicans a nasty surprise. Buchanan is such a blwohard. At least Cenk defended the President for once.
