Hi Sue – sorry to hear about your cat. I’m sure kitty will appreciate being home with you. Loving care is the best remedy for animals and people alike. I know – I’ve worked for for more than 15 years as a Veterinary Technician. I wish there were more local ordinances about the use of toxins in lawn and garden care. I think that it is so refreshing to have a President who is wonderful on the eyes, vibrant to the ears, sound with intellect to the mind, and just plain very, very cool to the mind. And think of all this Presidents’s DNA makes him a wonderful science of a man to call our Mr. President.

    • July 3, 2011 at 7:28 pm

Agree with you on alot of things HZ, but what also make me like this President alot is he seem to be a good family man, he loves his wife and his kids. And sometimes were you see so much cheating, it’s nice to see a man POTUS, and woman FLOTUS who are committed to each other and their family.

I concur with all of your points anniebella. I personally have a great friend who is a personal friend of our President and our First Lady, and one thing for sure he is a respectful husband and a devoted father. I would never disrespect our President in anyway, and I hope that I did not give that impression. Believe me, what you all see in public with the relationship of how our President interacts with his wife and children, it is REAL. Case closed.

        • July 3, 2011 at 9:59 pm

HZ, no you didn’t disrespect our President, and I wasn’t trying to say that you were doing that, I was just saying to me I love seeing a man, specially a black man who seem to love his family, who shows that he loves his family, nothing is more precious to me then seeing this President with his girls, or seeing that special tender moment between POTUS and FLOTUS. When people ask me why do I like this President, his commitment to his family is at the top of that list. That’s all I was trying to say.

          July 3, 2011 at 7:27 pm

OMG!!!! Jovie I know that movie. It’s called Atlas Shrugged based on the book by Ayn Rand who was an immigrant who came to this country, got great benefits, then became wealthy and started spouting and teaching the theory of selfishness. She said that if you weren’t wealthy, you were basically a leech and that wealthy people shouldn’t be asked to contribute their fair share. In her book she advocated for all wealthy people to move to a separate island where they could wallow in their intelligence and create their version of utopia. She concluded that if wealthy people left mainstream society, the rest of us would suffer because we’re apparently stupid, dumb, subpar and can’t cope without the wealthy spoonfeeding us. She was an extreme rightwinger and she campaigned for crazy extreme, extreme right wing candidates. Her disgust of the middle and working class was abhorrent. Frankly, she was despicable. What did your brother and cousin think of the movie?

I wish the “Ayn Rand-ers of America would move to their own island. Paul Ryan could be their king! These people think the world owes them something, they can’t see that our relationships create the fabric of our lives. They are the fibers that weave all things together. And as the saying goes, if we weave in faith, God will find the threads.

On a project today, I came across this saying, I found it inspirational and it made me think of the TODDER’s:
“I am only; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do.” – Helen Keller

I read the excellent article, but I have one disagreement:

“And, please, don’t patronise me by pushing the old chestnut of the President abandoning his base. His base abandoned him the minute they ceded their capacity for critical thinking to those who profit from dividing and conquering. Or maybe it’s just more comfortable being morally right in Opposition with no responsibility to govern?”

As for his base abandoning him, within the body of the essay, it’s clear that none of these lefties ever were his base, so this statement is factually and totally wrong. Otherwise, a truck load of truth.

Run, Christie, Run! More bad poll news for the “luvable” bully from NJ. Keep on insulting constituents. Wonder if Morning Joke and Meek Mika will laugh about this poll.

NJ Governor and Professional Youtube Screamer Chris Christie may be celebrating his pension overhaul victory with a box of Twinkies, but he might want to chew carefully as a Bloomberg poll released yesterday revealed that support for the gargantuan governor is in decline.

Fifty-one percent of respondents said they will definitely or probably vote for another candidate in the next gubernatorial election. Thirty-nine percent said they will definitely or probably vote for Christie.

Even worse, peoples opinions of Christie have dropped faster than an authorized helicopter at a baseball game.

Nineteen percent said they feel a lot better about the governor since he took office, while 29 percent said they feel a lot worse. In total, 53 percent said they have an unfavorable view of Christie, while 43 percent have a favorable view. When it came to his job performance, 51 percent were unfavorable, and 44 percent were favorable.

If you click on follow list, then I think your twitter name will be added. If this doesn’t work, then send a tweet to @tienle47 and ask for her help. Hope this helps you! πŸ™‚

Bachmann: I’ll Find Obama A ‘Real Job’. OH, PLEASE. Ignorance + arrogance = FAIL.

    • July 3, 2011 at 10:04 pm

I saw that at HP, and I wrote Mrs. Bachmann better be worrying about finding herself a job. Because she’s not going to become President. I guess her husband could always hire her, or she could go to work on her father in law’s farm. Because she is not going to become President.

Or get more foster children to try and brainwash while feeding off the gov teat by way of payments to foster parents

Is that why she’s ‘applying’ for the presidency, because she doesn’t see it as a ‘real job’? Poor misinformed, deluded soul. 😦 Wonder what is her real concept of the presidency?
