cain & unable

Herman Cain’s Iowa Director, Tina Goff, told TheIowaRepublican.com that she has submitted her resignation and is no longer working for the campaign.

…. Kevin Hall has also left the campaign. Hall served as Cain’s Straw Poll coordinator.

…Goff stated that she resigned because the Cain campaign refused to make a serious effort in Iowa, the home of the First-in-the-Nation caucuses.

With just 43 days to the Iowa Straw Poll, Cain’s campaign here in Iowa and nationally seems to be unraveling. Cain lost his New Hampshire director, Matt Murphy, who was his only staffer in that state, earlier this week.

Jim Zeiler, a Cain regional director who had been to Iowa and was helping with the campaign’s Straw Poll plans, has also left the campaign.

Thank you Proud – I’m heartbroken too 😆

And we all know he is the “real” black man, as opposed to President Barack Obama. Run Cain Run!!

Question is where are they going? Somebody is building a campaign somewhere. It has to be Perry.

    • July 1, 2011 at 10:46 pm

I think you might be right StR…..The Republicans are desperate, they have no idea who to nominate, they have the Teabaggers/Koch Bros to answer to…..I am sure they want their investment returned, noticed they shut the quitter down after the disastious Bus Tour…they don’t like fli flopping Romeny, Huntsman too close to PBO…Cain is too Black…(lol) therefore Perry becomes the Teaparty choice.

I hope Perry does get in because he will raise a lot of money and he and Romney will battle long and hard, draining their coffers. Perry would win Iowa and SC, Romney wins NH and Nevada – Florida becomes the big prize.

If Perry doesn’t get in, the race will essentially be over before Iowa even votes. Romney is lapping this field.

lol…this is too funny…you mean the the Black Cain???

In other good news – this out of Wisconsin:

John Nygren lost his appeal and will be kept off the ballot as he came up two signatures short of 400 after enough were challenged by Dems and excluded by the GAB. This is a pretty big deal as Nygren was a very good recruit to challenge cueent Dem State Senator Dave Hansen, who is in a tough reddish purple district. Now there will be no primary, meaning this election will be held in a little less than three weeks time. The GOP challenger is David VanderLeest a wife abuser( http://bloggingblue.com/2011/06/14/david-vanderleest-now-with-police-reports/ ) and slumlord (http://www.greenbayprogressive.com/progressive/story.asp?storyid=1756)

Here is the story of Nygren being kept off the ballot – http://www.fox11online.com//dpp/elections/state/john-nygren-vs-gab-goes-to-hearing

StR, you need to contact Halperin and tell him to report this excellent news for John McCain.

      • July 1, 2011 at 11:08 pm

Nygren was probably a slight favorite in the district – now this Vanderleest character is a flawed candidate and Hansen is favored. Vanderleest is hand painting his own campaign signs. It’s unknown if the GOP will back him and how much volunteer support he’ll get.

This will also free up all Hansen’s volunteers to work for other campaigns who have their elections in middle August. Similarly volunteer for other Dem recall efforts can come up and work his campaign. Of course same can be said for Vanderleest’s volunteers and staffers, but we have the much better candidate here.

      YESSSS! Thanks StR.

  7. July 1, 2011 at 10:36 pm

lol… let me rephrase that…”The Rea; Black Man Cain”

  8. July 1, 2011 at 10:37 pm

Translation: they weren’t getting paid. This is strictly a vanity campaign — a money-making, profile-raising, resume-building venture for Herman. No more, no less.

    • July 1, 2011 at 10:40 pm

It’s all a big game to these guys. In the end they hook up with some publishing company to write a book or go around the country on speaking engagements, spewing their garbage and further dividing the country.

The other one’s quitters weren’t getting paid either. What? Do these guys all want something for nothing? (That was rhetorical!)

Oh hhannahh thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!!!! for the link to that wonderful picture of FLOTUS and POTUS on the final days of the 08 campaign. The accompanying story by the photographer just choked me up. It is always wonderful to read about people who have witnessed politicians and campaigns come and go, may become cynical, but have their faith renewed by a shining beacon on hope. Barack Obama is that shining beacon of hope. Above all, the deep abiding head over heels love, admiration, and respect he shows towards his wife elevates him as a man like no other. Everyone has to click on the link and read the summary that accompanies the photograph.

Plus, flipping thru the pics, there are photos of Michelle before she started getting all dolled up with eyelashes and eyebrows. She’s just as lovely sans make-up to me, because I know she is a beautiful spirit, inside and out.

  10. July 1, 2011 at 10:46 pm

Maybe Mr. Cain should have been taking care of business in Iowa, instead of telling the NYT that he is the real black man, not President Obama. What would make a sensible man say things like that?

I am new with twitter language what does this mean:
#EmoProgs help take them all out…we need help!!!

      • July 1, 2011 at 11:20 pm

EmoProgs were described to me as a cross between Sylvia Plath and a Progressive…it has to do with a style of music. Mostly they’re self-destructive and filled with angst and are desperately needy.

  15. July 1, 2011 at 11:01 pm

LOL…like the Quitter was saying….she stopped her bus tour cause she ran out of gas……and Cain, thinks a campaign is like running a Pizza joint, by going bankrupt….the fact is: they Scared to Death, to debate one of the greatest Presidents…………Period

That big ol’ bus guzzling up gas like a ferocious hippo was probably driving up the gas prices. Now that she has parked the old clunker, the gas prices are falling.

Herman Cain was born in 1945, graduated from Morehouse in 1967. The question is, Herman what did you do during the civil rights movement? He would have started college in 1963, in Atlanta. I am going to call his butt, hiding cain.
