He did look like he didn’t have patience for fools today. He looked like he was pretty much done putting up with hecklers, too. I can’t blame him.

Starbucks is the entity to put the pressure on because Morning Joe is more of a problem than Halperin alone. Joe spends the first hour of every morning bashing the President. Starbucks should be called everytime Joe throws one of his rants.

Yes – I told the operator at Starbucks that I’ve had a hard time stomaching the sponsorship of Morning Joke by Starbucks, since he’s always demeaning the Office of Pres, but this was the last straw. Don’t want to associate with a company that sponsors what I heard about this morning. She seemed upset, herself.

I don’t usually have time to get online in the morning before work, but did today and caught the first posting about the Halperin incident. I had to run out the door but took the phone numbers and email with me. And for the whole 1 hour drive to work this morning I called and called and called and I texted. I left messages and spoke with the receptionist. And the lines weren’t even supposed to open until 9am. (this was between 7:30 and 8:30)

I didn’t have time to check any more about it until getting home a little while ago and it felt absolutely great to hear all the push back and effort that went into responding to this. I thought it would’ve been just a few people here and there, Boy! wasn’t I just thrilled.

All I can say is a giant congrats to all the voices who helped changed the room. As I reflect on the power we have when we stand together, I think ‘Nothing can stop the force of millions of voices calling for change…’ to paraphrase the best leader in my lifetime.

I’ve been upset all day today…So here’s my tweet to John Stewart, since he thinks he thinks he’s above all the BS. I am sick of him too
@TheDailyShow,saying: almost 3 years and he hasn’t bothered to learn the president’s name? lol it sound like:pot calling the kettle black”

I called NBC 3 times and let them have it…I felt sorry for the receptionist, she sounded really tired of all the calls she might be getting.

Jon Stewart of the” why can’t we just all get along rally”. Jon, you want change, you have to be the change.

He just isn’t funny. Also Rachel interviewed him and the excuses he made for George W. Bush IMO were off the chain. He honestly doesn’t impress me as being very progressive, more like a closeted Republican.

I can’t explain this like I want to, but let me ask if anyone saw Lawrence O’Donnell show tonight, 6-30-11? There was a guy up there who work for Reagen and GH Bush. He was talking about the 14th Amendment, where if he had too, if there were no other choice, the President could go over Congress head and order the Treasurer to pay the U.S. bills. And the only thing to stop him if the entire Congress, Senate were to get together and bring forth a lawsuit. Did anyone see that beside me? See if anyone can get some info about that.

Oh yeah Dems are trying to use the 14th amendment to insist that the debt limit in unconstitutional. The US has an obligation to raise the debt ceiling, meet its commitments and pay its bond holders. America did not have a debt limit until Reagan (I think) came into power and screwed everything up with reaganomics and his trickledown theory.

The President is such an inspirational and good person. I hope those who disparage him will someday realize what fools they were to have acted like they did when if they had shown a modicum of decency and civility we could have progressed to a level befitting of this great and truly good man, Barack Obama a man I’m proud to have as my President. Also, The First Lady and their daughters Malia and Sascha will forever be in my heart.
