Yes, PJ, we ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! I know two of the people in the photo where you see the back of POTUS (and his big ears πŸ™‚ ) The taller lady is a public school teacher in Philadelphia. She was saying “God Bless You” when this picture was snapped.

I was on the other side of the room. I got to shake his hand, but my picture person was a bit late on the button, so I got the back of my head and the top of POTUS’ head. But that’s OKAY, I HAD A BLAST!!!

And a friend got a very nice video of POTUS working the rope line. Now he has to learn how to get it from his camera to the computer, so he can email it to me!! I think I’m in the video… WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!

ooooh, Sue, I’m wide awake. I hope I’ll be able to get at least a little bit of sleep. I’ve gotta get my son to camp by 7:30 in the am. I really, really, REALLY wish I could have taken him with me, but it really wasn’t a setting for children. Entirely too much waiting around… But I had a blast, I wouldn’t have traded today for the world!!

Halperin was just pushing GOP talking points. See now Obama was all angry and worked up and mean in his presser. He was a dick, and he needs to take a Valium.

Kansas is now on my list of States I will never step foot in or spend a dollar in – added to Oklahoma & South Carolina

Fred,, I believe that you are correct in your observation. We all know where this crap is coming from. Most of the time, what is in the heart, the mouth will speak it. Halperin needs to go and take a vacation and search his heart and shut up for a while. These are mean-spirited people. People who are in need of jobs, homes, medical care, repairing their cities from floods, storms, do not need grown people who are paid millions called their President names like uncontrollable bullies on a playground.

I also have a list of states I will never step foot in or even send a letter to, if I can help it. There are some very ugly people in some places.

I was right behind where Sen Casey sat. What a sweetheart he is!! Soft spoken, gentle. I know he’s a politician, but really seems like a goodhearted man. And remember, he said it was his daughters who turned him on to the guy named Barack Obama.

Yes, they were heckling, Could you hear them? Nobody in the place could hear them much, if at all. — the minute they started up the crowd started with O -BA -MA!! and FOUR MORE YEARS!! They were calling for support of AIDS research. So, at least they were not against POTUS. And they donated to the campaign to get in the room. So, I hope it was worth it for them…

    • June 30, 2011 at 5:52 pm

But did you hear the crowd out shout the heckler, OBAMA…OBAMA……OBAMA……OBAMA……OBAMA

      • June 30, 2011 at 5:54 pm

He said we still have word to do, he has 51/2 more years. From your mouth to God’s ears, Mr. President.

His speech was fan-fuckin-tastic!!!! When the hecklers began their crazy nonsense, I was like oh my goodness.. not the crazy main street PL again. I loved how he smiled and paused.. and the crowd began chanting “OBAMA… OBAMA… OBAMA… OBAMA…. OBAMA…. OBAMA!!!!!!!” It was brilliant. It astounds me that these idiots pay top dollar to come to a fundraiser and protest. Thank you for the money you looney douchebags…. DEUCES!

OMG I was unable to tune in for the last two days! What’s with all this nonsense about calling the President a “d*ck”. Geez! Anyway very good speech PBO and yes the American people want to see their leaders attacking the issues and not each other!! Hecklers are so stupid you’re points are never brought across like that when the majority of the people are in full support of the man on stage. What a stupid heckle . I am a bit busy but trying to keep my usual Obama checkups. Looking forward to the First Lady’s fundraiser!

x 2 – I know first hand exactly what you are saying and in my case I find it extremely frustrating! 😦 Catching up is just not the same as living through the events and comments!! Hope YOU will be able to put ‘life’ back into its proper place soon. πŸ˜‰

            • June 30, 2011 at 10:20 pm

Yes it is; you feel like you have lost a piece of yourself. I remember recently trying to catch up on one of several consecutive days I missed and thinking, while trying to prop my eyelids up, – ‘How can so much have happened without me, don’t they know I wasn’t here?’ Self-centered, eh? πŸ™„

No VC, I feel you! If I miss a day or even 1/2 a day, I feel like the parade went off without me and I’m running behind the last band, trying to catch up before y’all turn the corner. It’s so hard playing catch up to the comments when everyone has either gone on to another topic or in my West Coast case, gone to bed altogether!

I hear you all! I decided I had to actually do some work during the work day, and so I’ve been more limited in keeping up with events (plus, since finding Twitter, I’m hooked)… It’s just not the same.

The people calling POTUS dick and pussy are just jealous of him. They’re mad because they’ve been proven dead wrong every time.

It’s also the same group who waste more time defending a Congressman who sexted his dick to women, reaaaaaaaaaal sense of values there! πŸ™„

And POTUS just keeps on trucking along, getting under these loony left wacko’s skins! 😎

Hello all!! I’ve been lurking for the past couple of months. Just wanted to put my support in writing. I am so proud of the big ‘PUSH BACK’ earlier today. You guys are awesome!! I was drinking my morning coffee at work when I logged in and saw what was going on. I haven’t been more proud of folks I don’t know since 2008. πŸ™‚ Totally support it and love it. Enough is enough. I hope you feel even more inclined to leave more comments, because we welcome all ideas and suggestions in the fight for winning 2012 for President Obama; and we welcome those who love and defend this wonderful President as much we do.

Despite the hysterical backlash from all predictable corners, I’ve always loved Tim Geithner. His intelligence is absolutely staggering.

TODers, if you have the time, I strongly urge you to listen to this interview with Tim Geithner who most thoughtfully talks about the debt crisis in terms anyone can understand and at the same time reveals the dangerous games the right-wing are playing. EXCELLENT:

I have always loved Tim Geithner, and I so appreciate the work he did to rescue the economy, especially when he was working almost completely alone without a team. He stuck with the President, and the President stuck with him. That’s all I need to know. He’s also spent his life in public service, and really takes it seriously. He’s just fantastic.

I saw him in a CNBC interview in 2009, and another one last year which was even better, and he completely blew me out of the water. He was confident, charismatic, and really comfortable in the hot seat. We’re lucky to have him.

Here’s the first CNBC interview I saw him in: http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=1249748655

She is somehow believing the stupid Republican talking point that the deadline can come and go and nothing will happen. She is the one who asked the president yesterday about them changing the dates four times for the deadline. POTUS had to set her straight.

Based on the transcript I read in that gos diary, that is the same line of questioning she had with Sperling. She actually asked him why did the White House not “cave.” She has always been a hack, herself, something like that Hack 1 today from MSNBC.
