Wow sometimes I like Chris. I am sitting in the LA airport ready to board to fly back to beautiful Montana. Have had a great time in LA but there are too many people here.

luci There is a saying “Give ’em Hell Harry!” and so he was simply playing on the name “Barry” because it Rhymes with Harry. I don’t believe that he meant it disrespectfully in this particular context.

wow, I don’t watch cable news but tweety was in one of his upbeat moods on this video. Well done CM, well done.

Well, when you are correct in what you’re saying, EVERYBODY wants to be your BFF – isn’t that right Chris? Barry is your current new BFF?

Go tweets go! I believe in giving atta-boys when warranted and knuckle-head when warranted. So go ahead and let Chris know that we’re “listening” and like what we heard.

Both Tweety and Larry O’D seem to have gotten thrills up their legs from PBO’s presser.

  13. June 29, 2011 at 8:27 pm

Tweety is bi-polar. This was a good day. I shall enjoy this clip. 😉

  14. June 29, 2011 at 8:28 pm

Holy Cow, Chris Matthews…you think you know the President?! Honestly, when has President Obama EVER done anything because of the polls? That would be never. Sorry, Chips, not a fan of this clip. There is nothing that man can do to rehabilitate himself.

I think if we use positive reinforcement to let them know what we like, we may get more of what we like. I don’t want to criticize one small negative piece of CM’s finish like the media constantly does to the President, but rather I want to accentuate the positive for the potential of better outcomes ( more positive reporting of accomplishments). By letting the media know what is liked, they may produce more of it.

      I think we should try.

We’re coming up on 44,000 on the counter. That would be a sweet screen grab if someone can get it. The next best one would be 44,012

  16. June 29, 2011 at 8:59 pm

I would like the email address of that cenk uygur of msnbc. Do anyone know it?

  17. June 29, 2011 at 9:00 pm

Schieffer and Pelly of course focus on negative poll and try and tie that to the President. What about the only 8% that blames President Obama for the economy? I don’t think we’re ever going to get down to 5% Unemployment again, but that doesn’t tell the whole story either. I don’t think we’ll ever get there because the GOP is obstructing everything to the point the last year America has been at a virtual standstill while China, India, S.Korea, Germany, Brazil are all full steam ahead.

Liked the comments by Bob Schieffer, a usually sensible guy. I just disagree with “seeing a very different President here”. Where’s he been? Apparently we here at TOD and like sites “know” who President Obama is. I saw the Barack Obama I discovered in his own 2 books about his life, his views. I also just began reading “The Promise” by Jonathan Alter, and there is no mistaken after reading that book, PBO has a temper. He just is very even about exposing it. He also, as I read some time ago, will dispose of your ass if he feels he has no use for you or if you want to waste his time. What did Maher say, he should be more “gangsta”? Well, pluck Maher, but our President is gangsta when he needs to be, which is when he just gets fed up with the bullshit. Fierce !

Let me be Gangsta… Tweety’s comments were on FIRE.COM……..I LIKEY……

when someone says something that is complementary or in defense of President Obama and his team, we should express our gratitude (positive reinforcement to promote future positive behavior). And when someone says crap and unfair information about President Obama, we need to challenge them and take them to task
