The cameras are smiling whenever President Obama is around.

He’s just as sweet as he can be. I don’t know how he is standing up after such a busy day. I guess he is at the farewell dinner for Defense Secretary Robert Gates right now. I have never seen a politician work as hard as President Obama.

BTW: Can you imagine any of the wacky, lackluster GOP presidential candidates holding an hour long press conference and answering every question thoroughly and completely without notes. If any of them watched the press conference, I can just imagine them swallowing hard.

Chris Christie, “It’s none of your business!”

          Dick Cheney, “So?”

Sarah Palin: *wink wink* “you betcha” “shut up lamestream media”

Michele Bachmann: “I fasted and God told me not to answer your question” “I’ll have to ask my spiritual advisor…. John Wayne Gacy” “John Quincy Adams is a founding father” – sticks hand in ears “blah blah blah I can’t hear you!”

John Boehner: “You guys are bullies” – burst into tears – “I’m going to the Oompa Lumpa House of Tanning to get that special orange tan”

John Mccain: “Get off my LAWN!!!!!!”

Dennis Kucinich: “I see aliens all the time and they told me to sue the White House Kitchen because I asked for coffee and they gave me coffee but it was HOT! Is coffee supposed to be hot?”

You can bet Maddow, and that mental nutcase Choi wasn’t there. GOOD!!!! Hopefully it was sensible people of the LBGT community who understand that they have a friend in this administration.

A little tweet from him today:

ltdanchoi:I stand with the workers also angry at Obama’s political puppetry. This fight is for justice, not just-us.

No, you hater, you stand for yourself………

      • June 29, 2011 at 7:17 pm

Itdanchoi, you’re a mental case. Go to VA and get some help. PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I am concerned about Choi. I’m not joking. This guy is mentally unfit and nursing a personal grudge that is all encompassing. Not only that, but he has a military background and admitted that he found the Libertarian lifestyle and creed to be very attractive. This guy is heralded as a hero by certain segments of the PL bloggosphere and punditry. There will come a point at which they will be sorry they ever associated with him.

His hatred of the president is so deep, you can even see it in his face when he mentions his name, not only his tone of voice,

I would be really scared if he would have access to the President…….something is very wrong with this guy.

Nice pal you have Rachel Maddow.

I so agree with you Hope and I even went as far as to say that Choi should be kept away from the President. This is not just fighting for Marriage Equality but this has turned practically personal for Choi and I am not making this up but I fear for the safety of the President. Dan Choi sounds like a psychopath and he did admit to suffer from rage so SS please keep that mofo from the President.

p.s: I hate hate hate hate the fact that this fucker is calling himself MLK and Rosa Parks. He is NOT qualified to shine their shoes much less be in the same sentence as these amazing people because neither King nor Parks were disrespect assholes

I wanted to share this with you to end the day ;this has nothing to do with politics but since I have a weird sense of humor I found that funny as hell :lol

Choi needs to read his history. MLK didn’t go out and publicly disparage LBJ. MLK went out and organized the grass roots to create the conditions so the congress would support civil rights legislation. It’s offensive and delusional to compare himself to MLK.

He’s an activist for “hate Obama” brigade. That’s the bulk of his activism…which is what worries me.

Rev Al Sharpton just tweeted that he will be guest hosting Ed’s show tonight and that it will be HOT. Sounds like must see TV.

    • June 29, 2011 at 7:11 pm

hey proud, will you let us know about the show, if you watch it? I don’t even have cable and haven’t turned on my teevee in over two years.. but I’d really like to hear what the Rev has to say tonight.

      • June 29, 2011 at 7:17 pm

You know I’ll be reporting back. Hope he gives ’em hell like the Prez did.

I watch the shows – Last Word, Maddow and Ed on my computer, starting at around 10.00 p.m. The Ed show will be the last one loaded onto msnbc.com, so it might be too late for you, if you have to get up early. All you have to do is to go to the site’s front page, look at the menu at the top of the page and you will see the shows listed. Click on either one – in this case, the “Ed” show. If you don’t want to or can’t catch it tonight, you can still access it tomorrow, click on it and you will get the latest program.

I think that you should be able to access msnbc.com on any hand-held device such as iPhone, Blackberry or Tablet.

    • June 29, 2011 at 7:14 pm

I will check out Al Sharpton tonight at 10pm. That guy that comes on at 6pm on MSNBC, the guy with the funny name. I can not stand him. He will be hearing from me.

I’ll be watching. He did a great job last night. Love my Rev. Al.

Oh yeah, I like to hear Al Sharpton when he’s sitting-In for Schultz ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. June 29, 2011 at 7:08 pm

Don’t you just love it when he just keep on keeping on. Nobody can match his energy, commitment or dedication. He still has a dinner planned to honor Sec. Gates tonight. He get more done in one day than the republican can in a week, if they came to work.

    • June 29, 2011 at 7:16 pm

Huntsman would have been tired after the first meeting. Loved it when Prez said Congress needs to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Notice that you haven’t seen or heard from Hunstman since he announced his presidential run last week? He must be in bed with a sore throat or cough. The stress of announcing must have really taken it’s toll on his immune system. Poor guy needs to take some garlic supplements.

          • June 29, 2011 at 7:25 pm

And when we get through pointing out how Bachmann has been on the Medicaid dole while railing against it, she’s going to take to her bed too. By the way, something just ain’t right about that husband of hers.

I believe that like a typical Republican “spouse” he’s simply a placeholder. He’s a clinical “therapist” but where did he buy his diploma from may I ask?

Do you think he’s hiding in the closet?

I can’t imagine the stress of pretending to be something you are not, or the harm of self denial. Marcus, if your gay, do yourself a favor (and actually everyone ) and embrace it. God loves all his children, with equal measure.

These are the real LGBT advocates and grassroots fighters. They didn’t mock the President or shout him down or LIE about his views and accomplishments. They were appreciative of the work and progress he accomplished and are hopeful for even more in the future. Take note Rachel and Dan Choi: You are not the real leaders and workers of this movement. You are false loudmouths.
