hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha. If that’s true I’d be laughing my ass off. It’s just like PBO to elegantly, politely and constitutionally tell ’em to frack off.

Remember when the PBO meets the press they get their BUTTS handed to them from THE ONLY ADULT IN THE ROOM. So get your popcorn ready tomorrow a realty show that could be a dressing down of the GREED OVER PEOPLE PARTY about the debt ceiling.

Breaking Wind: Bachmann got ALOT more money from the government than she originally claimed, including especially Medicaid. liar, Liar, pants on fire. They the Bachmann clinic got Medicaid funds for 6 years straight. Batshit Bachmann! What’s going on? Thought you didn’t like government aid? What’s up with this socialized medicine thing? Hypocrisy, thy name is Batshit Bachmann. Now if only there was an allegation of Medicaid fraud, that would be a gift from the gods 🙂

PEOPLE WHO STAND UP AND BRAG ABOUT THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE OFTEN ‘STRETCHING THE CATFISH’ IF YOU GET MY DRIFT. OUR PRESIDENT HAS NEVER DONE THAT. HIS HUMILITY IS BOTH HONEST AND CERTAINLY APPEALLING. OUR PRESIDENT WON HIS ELECTION BASED ON HIS HONESTY,GRACE,MATURITY AND HUMILITY! NONE OF THESE GOP CANDIDATES WILL EVER MEASURE UP TO OUR MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE!

Didn’t she say that she has had a whole bunch of foster children?? If she has, then she’s been collecting government dollars for them also- ALL of their care- including medicaid would be provided by govt funding- whether state, county or in some cases federal $$.

I didn’t know she had a ‘clinic’. Soo since I’m uninformed about that- did her foster kids, who receive medicaid also utilize her clinic that also received medicaid funding?

  5. June 28, 2011 at 8:22 pm

I hope she has to pay it back.

THAT FAREWELL DINNER FOR GATES TOMORROW NIGHT IS GOING TO BRING SOME TEARS FROM BOB. I THINK HE DEEPLY ADMIRES PBO….AND GOODBYE CEREMONIES ARE ALWAYS TOUGH!

I think so too. He seems like such a decent man. I’m glad POTUS kept him on…despite the liberal elite’s temper tantrum over that decision. I trust POTUS’ decisions.

GATES HAD A DIFFICULT ENOUGH TIME JUST SAYING GOODBYE TO THE TROOPS. HE IS AN EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF HOWTHE ‘TEAM OF RIVALS’ THEORY CAN WORK. I AM SO PROUD OF MY PRESIDENT AND THE LINES HE HAS CROSSED TO TRY AND BRING PARTIES TOGETHER! THAT’S A TRUE EXAMPLE OF GREAT LEADERSHIP!

Hachiko and Sue, I love your observations about Sec. Gates. I have always thought that he is a good and decent man. I also believe that he and President Obama really do like, respect, and appreciation each other. There is a great cover story about Gates in Time Magazine, Feb.15,2010″Man of War. By Elizabeth Rubin. Great. I love the entire articl, but one paragraph took in my mind about”Inside Man.” I quote:
“Like Obama, Gates can consume reams of information. His photographic memory is legendary. He is a voracious reader of history. spy novels and pulp fiction. He’s subscribed to the Book of the Month Club for 50 years. And he is careful, meticulously so. One decades-long colleague told me Gates will cancel a briefing if he hasn’t done his homewowrk.” Preparation for him is a cathartic experience.” says his spokesman Morrell. He vents brutal answers to imaginary questions so he can be more diplomatic on the Hill. He is vigilant about the stagecraft of statecraft, even taking his own messy handwritten notes to meetings so his preparation can be seen.” One important thing struck me about the artice was that when Gates met with Obama to consider the job, he had written down several questions and when Senator Jack Reed gave President elect Obama the questions, Obama was impressed and said that Gates was on target.” Obama was impressed,, so they met and talked. And the article stated that Gates asked the President-elect one question,.””I asked him (Obama) can you trust me?” Gates does not like the limelight, and President does not like media hounds, she states, so they got along just great. And she stated that staffers said that Gates has got more in common with Obama than he had with Bush. They are both cerebral, analytical, and reflective.” y Elizabeth Rubin. Great article. If you can back order the magazine or get it at your local library in their bookstore, it is well worth it. I love Sec. Gates. So this probably will be a very moving and difficult time for both Sec. Gates and his boss, President Obama. I will miss him.
Soory my entry is long, but I think our family here will love it because our CIC seem to have a great respect for this wonderful and decent man. Sec. Gates, you will be missed. We salute you, Sir. Thanks for your service to our country and the world. He served six Presidents. I can’t wait to read his books after he retires.

I enjoyed that write-up, HZ. Great background info — I love details like this. i also greatly enjoyed his 60 Minutes interview shortly after the bin Laden kill. I will miss Sec. Gates — he’s the epitome of a stellar public servant.

Tom Petty to Michele Bachmann: Quit Playing ‘American Girl’

Michele Bachmann hasn’t exactly gotten her campaign off to the best start. It’s bad enough to confuse movie legend John Wayne with serial killer John Wayne Gacy and crazily insist that John Quincy Adams was a founding father at the age of nine – but now she’s gone and pissed off Tom Petty. The Minnesota congresswoman played “American Girl” yesterday when she walked onstage at a rally, and Rolling Stone has confirmed reports that Petty’s management team immediately sent the Bachmann campaign a cease and desist letter.

    Can you believe this guy?

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich called on international media not to engage in exaggerating the events in Syria and jumping to conclusions without talking to people and listening to what they want.

………”There are some who want to give a wrong picture about what is going on in Syria,” Kucinich said in a press conference held on Tuesday at the Four Seasons Hotel, adding that things should be left to the Syrian people, government and leadership to decide for themselves the direction and the way to go for democratic changes……”

14th Amendment: Democratic Senators See Debt Ceiling As Unconstitutional

WASHINGTON — Growing increasingly pessimistic about the prospects for a deal that would raise the debt ceiling, Democratic senators are revisiting a solution to the crisis that rests on a simple proposition: The debt ceiling itself is unconstitutional.

“The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law… shall not be questioned,” reads the 14th Amendment.

The President was in a very good mood today. I wonder what this press conference is about.

    • June 28, 2011 at 11:05 pm

His ladies were back home. His bed were not empty anymore, that can make you feel a whole lot better, plus his daughters were back home too..

      • June 28, 2011 at 11:06 pm

Maybe that’s the reason for the good mood.

I like to see him smiling and moving on. Can’t wait to hear him tomorrow. He has a busy day. I am so happy that our First Lady and First Daughters are back. You know BO was happy also. Love me some BO. I wonder if Mrs. Vickie Kennedy comes to see BO when she is in D.C.?
