Thank you Chips and TOD family for keeping all the information coming. I am still in LA with my Repub, evangelical family. We don’t talk politics and I miss talking about the great stuff our President is doing. All of you are keeping me going. Thank you.
Excellent speech! I loved his call at the end for everyone to work together as a team in Washington and throughout the country. Manufacturing has been one of the strongest parts of the recovery and he’s directly responsible for that. And when he said there were 4 people seeking for one job, a lot of those jobs are the type they are seeking. He talked about the more technical jobs and how there were fewer people qualified for those, but he’s worked on a solution. I thought the program with community colleges cooperating with businesses to create curricula for specific types of jobs was brilliant. He’s working on long term solutions that will provide relief in the short run, too. When he talks I can just hear everything is clicking into place and coming together. I used to work for a company that became affiliated with Alcoa and if I understood correctly, the President was saying Alcoa has joined with him. I got in the middle of the speech. Alcoa is huge and if they are on board that is a BFD. Thanks for the heads up, Chipsticks.
Thanks for all of the great news throughout the day, Chipsticks. Today is a busy day, but I am so enjoying it. You all are so great at this. I hope that I will be a quick learner. I need it.
