people, we’ve made it on to hollywood life!!!

Hollywood Life: It’s the call NO mom ever expects to get from her kids – and one mom in particular will be kicking herself that she missed the whole thing!

It all takes place in a mysterious video that has popped up on YouTube, become an instant hit  and is sure to make the lucky children the envy of ALL their classmates!

In the video, the kids, who are twins, clamber into the car, and then President Obama pops into view, hands them a phone and asks them who they want to call.

The boy chooses his mom, but when she doesn’t pick up, Obama encourages him to leave a message. He says “Hi mom, I’m in the President’s car, it’s sure cool,” before the President grabs the phone back, says “ok, bye” and hangs up.

All we know is it took place in Fairfax, Virginia in 2010, and that the two lucky ‘presidential aides’ are twins. The video, titled “Mom, Pick Up!!!!! ….. President Obama,” has been seen by almost half-a-million people since it was uploaded in June by someone called TheObamaDiary!

Can you imagine getting that message, HollyMoms? Would you ever erase it?!

“……a mysterious video that has popped up on YouTube”??

So mysterious it appeared on YouTube ….. last September:

hahahahahahahahhahahahaha 😆 oh Ms. Chips, what can you say about the media?
    – they are unobservant
    – they are silly
    – they lack a collective IQ larger the highest fake boob size
    – they are more than slightly slow on the uptake
ps- but at least they finally caught up……9 months later 😕

So, these so-called journalist have never gone to whitehouse.gov? They are just willfully ignorant regarding this president.

I ranted and ranted to my husband last night on this very subject (poor man). How can they be so lazy? So stupid? That they don’t even bother to watch a 5 minute video that’s put out by the Whitehouse every week?

It’s infuriating! I find time to do it and I’m just a regular person. They are the press. It’s their job!

      • June 28, 2011 at 6:38 am

No the media rather attack him and try to push Huntsman, Bachmann, and Romney down our throats. The media don’t want to see anything which might make the President look good.

You forgot the line about M4O:

“I’d also like to thank Me4Obama for making me smile every day.”

PS It was actually on day one that he dumped me 😐

    • June 27, 2011 at 11:59 pm

      😆 😆 😆

Man oh man, you can’t miss a day around this joint without feeling hopelessly lost upon your return! Seems to me that Chipsticks has taken on the added role (all unsuspecting, or by design?) of ‘educating’ the mainstreet press and the world at large about the different and wonderful nuances to our President. Suh-weet! 😆 😆 Now that you have started, Ms Chips, are you going to continue feeding them tasty bits that they have overlooked right under their very noses? Is this an un-explored corner that TOD can take advantage of to get others outside the family to really ‘see’ PBO? Congrats, you’re off to a great start in this area, Ms Chips!

[Now if only I could harness a fraction of Chip’s vision and get myself on Twitter. I don’t want the family to move and leave me behind in the house, but I feel sure I’m Twitter allergic and Twitter challenged. I hope you all won’t take all the furniture away from this house – leave me something to cry upon when I start feeling lonely. 😉 ]

  6. June 27, 2011 at 11:03 pm

This is so funny, Chips. I can’t believe this is happening. I know that you want to keep your world from expanding too far as on The Morning Show, The View, The Colbert Report but lassy I think you are headed for the Hollywook Bright Lights. One thing I know for sure is this haven of ours has become the talk of the town. You, my dear, can go wherever your heart leads you, even if it stays put right on the ground you are now walking. Love ya!!!

    • June 27, 2011 at 11:18 pm

We need to get Twitter savy so collectively we can help our President change the world. Let’s go after the liers and set them straight. The power of TheObamaDiary. I noticed that Laura Ingraham and Her ObamaDiaries is trying to give this site a run for the money on google. . Let’s all enter this site by way of google to keep it on top. Yay Chipsticks. :): :):

I’m so glad that one of your videos made it into the press, and that your videos are having such a big impact. I think that the article did take pains to note that this was video’d in 2010. Thanks so much to you Chipstick and to the Hollywood Life for spreading news about an incident which is heartwarming to so many Americans. I love videos like that; keep them coming, and congrats!

Things like that video and the crying baby video shows that our President has a good heart, a kind heart, it makes him likeable and the media don’t want to show that, they are on this anti-Obama swing so they don’t have time to watch these things. They are so bush chasing Palin’s bus, and those other GOP clowns around. We have a good kind hearted, down to earth, intelligent, caring, loving, couple in the White House, who enjoy people, love kids, loves their country, and loves one another their family. They are a dam good President and First Lady, and the country better realize that in 2012.

MYSTERIOUS YOUTUBE VIDEO??? Where have you been Hollywood Life??

I often wonder if any of the network and cable (hosts, pundits and reporters) have ever logged on to http://www.whitehouse.gov/ And when I watch Press Secretary Jay Carney briefing the White House Press Corps, it’s clear they don’t look at the website either.

Ever since they introduced West Wing Week, it has been one of my favorite features on the http://www.whitehouse.gov/ website. It is a brilliant way to show what President Obama has been doing on any given week. I also love the Saturday address, the White Board Presentations, and the amazing photography of Pete Souza. The White House website takes full advantage of all types types of social networking tools, LIKE YOUTUBE.

I think one of the best things we can do is to get as many Americans as possible to log on to http://www.whitehouse.gov/ to actually see how hard President Obama and his administration is working ON THEIR BEHALF. And if they don’t have time to check the website daily, they can sign-up for email updates or download the White House mobile app.

I think most Americans would be astonished at all of the projects and initiatives that are being implemented everyday. The White House is a beehive of activity. But all of the good they are doing is being ignored by the mainstream media, the professional left, The Republican Party, the White House Press Corps, and sadly even Hollywood Life.

Ladyhawke I could not agree with you more.

I live in Jamaica and sometimes I know more about what is happening with the President and the Whitehous than some of these so called “news reporters”, why because I do my research, I visit whitehouse.gov regularly and I actually watch the President’s speeches and not just listen to sound bites and I read a lot.

There are so many means of obtaining information, I wonder how persons can miss details so much.

Soon after the inauguration, I set whitehouse.gov up as my home page. I don’t know how President Obama keeps such a busy schedule. Between whitehouse.gov, The Only Adult In The Room and The Obama Diary with their extensive blogrolls I get all the information and analysis I need.

I continue to be impressed with the amazing articles being posted by Steve Benen, Wee See You, Extreme Liberal, PoliticusUSA, The Reid Report and The People’s View to name a few. I rely less and less on network and cable for information and news. They just don’t measure up.
