I am loving the fact that we don’t have to rely on a select few blogs or MSM that choose to lie about and distort this president’s record. Places like here, BWD, WeeSeeYou, TPV, etc., are going to be pertinent to getting our message out about this President, and the truth will prevail. Imagine that.

And Yet, they treat him worse than a criminal 😦 hurts me to my heart 😦 It’s Shameful, ummmmmmm Lord help us all. Lord God, I pray that you continue to keep your miracelous hands on Our Beloved President. Lord I pray that you will Bless his efforts In Everything that he see’s our Country stand In need of. Lord I pray that PBO Is victorious In 2012, If It’s your will. Lord you know best, and what’s best. In your precious name I pray Amen

It’s like the more he does, the angrier they get. They push their negative narratives only to have them flunked back in their faces. They want him to fail so badly, it drives them crazy when he comes up on the top on issue after issue. More importantly, he refuses to let him drag him down into their gutter rhetoric. It must be maddening, especially when you come at it from that POV.

      Go figure.

I hope he sends every last one of them to the looney bin. It will be of their own making, but President Obama in a way just keeps feeding them the rope. He is brilliant.

At times, it is hard for me to comprehend just how incredible he is. I am constantly amazed and grateful to be witness to his leadership as President, and to his demonstration of human potential and excellence.

I am so glad to see things like this,so when some start running their mouth I can hit back with facts, if they continue to ignore, well we know the real reason why. And it ain’t got nothing to do with what he did or didn’t do, but what color he is.

Hey guys heads up: Grover Norquist the second half of Karl Roves’ American Crossroads partnership is going to be on The Colbert Report tonight. I can’t wait for Colbert to decimate him in his usual satorial manner. I hope Colbert asks him about the oath and pledge he made republican candidates like Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty take and sign, saying they would adhere to Grover’s idea of republican and “American principles.” He got other prominent republicans to take the oath too. He’s pretty much their puppet master. The only one who refused so far is Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels who said that the only oath he will be taking is the one the Chief Justice will read to him when he becomes President. Yeah right Mitch; keep dreaming. You’ll become President the day your legs magically grow longer and you become 6ft tall.

OT (but relevant): Guys you know how it was reported that Karl Rove’s group American Crossroads was going to raise $20 million to go on an advertising blitz attacking President Obama in all 50 states? Well I just saw the first ad on TV and it is disgusting to say the least. Just imagining the drivel I watched being aired in all 50 states makes me mad to say the least. It was all lies, lies and more lies. Thanks to the Supreme Court groups like this don’t have to reveal their donor list. This is what is wrong with our political and judicial system. Democrats have got to ramp up ads in all 50 states from now until 2012 because President Obama cannot counter all this hate alone. Karl Rove, Grover Norquist, Dick Cheney and the rest of their ilk aren’t human beings…… they’re lower than pond scum.

This is incredible (9 printed pages; and as a teacher, I love the documentation); knowledge is power. We are armed with even more weapons to fight the naysayers and to persuade the deluded and the ignorant. Thanks; this is priceless.

The limo kids were shown on the insider show just now and the reporter lied that the video was taken last year and it has just been released today by the whitehouse.

    • June 27, 2011 at 8:05 pm

Are you serious?? Unbelievable. Is the Insider on Twitter?

If it is, could you Twitterers let them know they were talking BULL – the clip is from this West Wing Week last September:

Sorry chips I don’t know the email but the show is called Inside Edition.

        • June 27, 2011 at 8:17 pm

Thanks M4O, what channel is that on again?

            June 27, 2011 at 8:26 pm

It’s a syndicated entertainment show, so it’s on different networks depending on which state you live in. Maybe check out their website the clip must be on by now.

            • June 27, 2011 at 8:32 pm

Thanks Me4O. I put this in the video description:

Oh dear, Inside Edition claimed (on June 27) that this clip, filmed last September, was only released this week by the White House. Nope, it’s been on YouTube SINCE last September when it appeared at the end of a West Wing Week video (Search for ‘West Wing Week: 9/17/10 Back to School). It was me who put the clip on YouTube this week – they just didn’t bother checking. You gotta love the fact-checkin’ media! Info: Fairfax, Virgina, September 2010. After a ‘backyard’ discussion with his host family and their neighbors the President invited the family’s twins to have a look at the Presidential limousine – and call their mother who was inside the family home.

I know it’s not a big deal in the scheme of things, but the obvious implication is that the White House (like they have nothing better to do) released this nine months after the event to make the President look good – pathetic! At least GMA had the wit to contact me and ask when the video was made.

              Found their info:

Thanks Chips, exactly that’s how anyone watching took it, if I didn’t know the truth I would have concluded the same, and she didn’t even smile after watching that beautiful clip. We don’t need LIES towards our beloved President and thanks again for making us proud each and everyday.

              • June 27, 2011 at 8:56 pm

                Just emailed them:

I didn’t get to see Inside Edition tonight but I’m told that you played the video I posted on YouTube (link) of President Obama in his limousine with two kids – thank you!

However, I’m also told that you claimed the video was only released this week by the White House, despite it being filmed last September.

                That is not true.

The clip appeared at the end of a White House ‘West Wing Week’ video posted on YouTube – last September:

I think you might accept that those who dislike the President would have taken your incorrect information as an implication that the video was only released now to make him ‘look good’!

It would be great if you could correct that misinformation.

Good Morning America actually contacted me on YouTube to ask for details about the video, I think maybe you should do that too in the future just to ensure your reporting is accurate.

I’ve pointed out Inside Edition’s error on the description for the video on YouTube, which is now up to nearly half a million views – and rising.

I’ll be happy to report a correction by you if you’re willing to make one.

                Many thanks,

It was also on GMA this morning all I remember them saying was that it was made in September. They had a nice laugh with it and seemed to think it was cute but of course Georgie S had to be a little snarky and say something like(not exact quote) “‘seemed like the kid couldn’t wait to get out of the Limo”.
I don’t think so – I think the kid was thrilled! I think they must be looking at TOD because they sure are using your videos Chip – YOU ARE BIG TIME!!!!! Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much Chipsticks for the wonderful job you are doing with your blog. Thank you also for the link to the PCTC*BLOG, which did a superb job in highlighting President Obama’s incredible record of achievement. I defy any one to produce a comparable record of achievement, in just two and half years, of any other President since FDR. Please do not mention LBJ. As much as I greatly admire LBJ’s record, It’s absolutely important to remind people that LBJ was simply carrying out many of the programs started by JFK.LBJ’s first was really JFK’s second term. The most famous LBJ accomplishment, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, came in the fourth year of the JFK-LBJ Presidency. I know holier than thou progressives, who love revisionist history, would rather give all the credit to LBJ’s “bully pulpit.” But, I think any objective historian must acknowledge that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was introduced, in 1963, by JFK, in response to the massive civil rights protests. Surely, in the wake of JFK’s Assassination, It would have been unseemly for the Congress to vote down the Civil Rights Bill, which, at the time, had become symbolically linked to JFK.

In any case, I am very proud of President Obama’s record of achievement in his first two and half years in office.
