    Second video is awe inspiring

But but but the press can only talk about mitt romneys new ad towards the president, having a young college kid saying bc of the economy he can’t find work.
Come to find out, this young punk used to work as a treasurer for the Michigan college republicans.

Still no vetting from any msm channels if republicans. But, they are making several mistakes!

A real shocker, yeah, I know. These people don’t have an authentic bone in their body.

Wow. These people are nothing but cheats. They don’t want people to vote, prefer to have a dumb electorate. They want to win at all costs by fraud.

And to top it off they are greedy. No matter how much they have, it seems not nearly enough. And they have no shame. For Mittens a flip flop is as easy as taking a breath. It comes naturally. Go figure.

    • June 24, 2011 at 6:03 pm

You see these idiots can take pot shots at the President, but what do the President do take shots back at all those idiots on the Republican side. He has to wait till he has an opponent. So I guess he will go about doing his work.

Thank you Chipsticks for always trying to ACCENT THE POSITIVE here at TOD! These videos are so inspiring – especially the MOTHERS TO MOTHERS video. And that dance tribe was just riveting – I wanted more! Thank you again for ACCENTING THE POSITIVE! šŸ˜€

Oh that second video just touched my heart. I’m glad the lady found a haven and a community that accepted her and lifted her up. I’m thankful that the First Lady is shedding more light on the social ravages of HIV/AIDS. No individual should be made to feel ashamed and worthless just because he/she may be HIV positive. They should be offered love, comfort, support and empowerment.

The video of the dancers was mighty entertaining. Gosh they are TALENTED!

Wow the second video almost made me tear up. That woman is truly an inspiration and you could of seen Mrs Obama was blown away by her intelligence and dedication to help other women who are in the same position she was in. Truly inspiring. I like the welcome Botswana gave to Michelle! Thanks Chipsticks!

Soros and big liberal donors give to dem super pacs!

    • June 24, 2011 at 6:17 pm

I’ve said it before and I will keep on saying it, Michelle Obama is a treasure. In two and a half years she has become just as good as First Lady as there have been. I am so proud of her. We must give her four more years. We need her and her husband.

      June 24, 2011 at 6:32 pm

In principle, I don’t like these super pacs but realistically we’re going to need them. Nat. Journal just reported that American Crossroads is planning to spend $120 million against PBO and they are about to start running a $20 million ad buy against him on the economy! This is serious but David did beat Goliath so we the people can beat the plutacrats. Van Jones’s Rebuild the American Dream movement sounds like a really positive way to start. This is going to be the fight of our lives but I believe justice and what’s right will prevail.

I see Rove’s American Crossroads is set to launch a $20 million ad campaign hammering President Obama on the economy. Ads are set to run over the next 2 months. I hope there is a plan to hit back with our own ads. I saw all the damage Amer. Crossroads did here in Illinois against Giannoulias’ Senate bid. It was nonstop partisan tripe and outright lies.

      June 24, 2011 at 6:25 pm

Unfortunately I don’t see Democrats countering these ads. I am still waiting for ads about the Republicans assault on women, and seniors to be ran by Democrats.

      • 17 africa
        June 24, 2011 at 6:41 pm

Where are the Democrats’ Ads pounding the Republicans for trying to sabotage the economy? They are relying on the so-called liburl media to get their message out. It is not going to happen on a sustained basis. It was good to see stories from the NYT, Reuters, CBS and National Journal call them out today. But this kind of thing has to be continuous.

You can’t roll out a message one day and then move on to something else. And to top it off, instead of the President’s so-called “Base” working against the Republicans, they seem to be working alongside them, attacking the President for everything — from sneezing to scratching his nose or just breathing — for heaven’s sake.

I know I have said this before. Some days I wish PBO would just tell them all to have at it. But that would be to easy, not especially after all the hard work he has done.

          June 24, 2011 at 6:49 pm

The weird thing about Democrats and messsaging is that they can collectively get on TV a bash the President about the Afghanistan withdrawal, and other things, but are M.I.A. when it comes to sending a message about what the Republicans are doing. Thw DNC is raking in money from their PACs and from average donors, so it’s not like they have a money problem. I just don’t see anything changing in the Democratic Party.

            June 24, 2011 at 7:05 pm

Exactly. The seem united on one front: bashing the President. That’s why I may roll it up after this round.

    • June 24, 2011 at 6:27 pm

We should contact Debbie Wasserman Schutlz, is that her name? She is the head of the DNC. Anyway we should contact her and ask her what do the Dems do to combat these lies coming from Karl Rove and others?

        June 24, 2011 at 6:47 pm

I sent her a tweet earlier today asking what we’re supposed to do with Dems who are working against President Obama but still asking for donations. Someone needs to whip these Dems into shape.

I agree. I think we need to form a number of patrols here. For those savvy twitterers, we need a twitter patrol, facebook patrol and and e-mail patrol. And if there are those who are versed in doing all three, they can participate in one or all of the groups if they choose to.

But we need to have dedicated patrols to start each day pushing back the media or contacting Congress on issues we feel are being misrepresented or not acted upon.

We know that often news items are linked here, thanks to Jovie and some others, that hardly get to see the light of day in our MSM. Take for example the news about the DREAM ACT executive order. Unlike me, who get the bulk of my news online, my husband watches TV, but he also reads some online. I asked him if he saw anything on the DREAM ACT. He said no.

Then there is the matter of the Republicans sabotaging the economy. We need to force the media to cover it. If not, how about some of those who are tech savvy produce do a creative video, and we work at making it go viral!

I may not be making any sense here, but I am just fraustrated at what is happening to undo all the hardwork this president has done.

Thanks Chipsticks for the videos. Their contents are an inspiration. We are receiving our gems of encouragement for electing this great President, Barack Obama. Look at our First Lady giving hope to another continent. Amazing what affirmation of intellect, love, respect, hope, hard work, practing kindness and goodness being spread and shared around the world through this Presidency. We are truly blessed. This is the reason why we will work hard to get this President re-elected. I marvel with excitement in my being when I come here and read all of the wonderful and informative articles that Jovie for one, and all of you post here for us to be encouraged, more informed, and to come together around the hope that we know is out there to hold on to in our lives, no matter what the opposition throws at each one of us. We are doing something good here. by focusing on the good in people, working hard to produce the attitudes that we need to continue with in order to win for the next generation with President Obama. I want to thank you all, and especially Chipsticks for having the vision to give birth to a new place built on respect, positiveness, and willing hearts and hands to move forward in a good way for our country. We are not phony here, this is the real thing in us. We will bond together and work faithfully to make this happen again in 2012. God bless each one of you here, and let us go out and work hard so we can bless those in our nation who are still hurting and all around the world. We are the ones to get this great work done.

Theo67, it’s just unbelievable. It’s not like we have a debt limit crisis and stalled budget talks or anything. But Rusty pledged allegiance to his golf.

When the House returns from vacation on July 5, there’ll barely be time to unpack before the next vacations: July 18-24 & Aug. 8-Sept. 5. WHAT A JOKE. A very costly one, to be sure.

Meanwhile, the President has barely taken a day off in years! And they complain when he enjoys half a weekend off. Absolutely unbelievable that Americans are willing to put up with this, and are considering voting for these losers.

Well, I just saw the history for 2011: House has been off Jan. 13-15, Jan. 31-Feb. 6, Feb. 21-27, Mar. 21-27, Apr. 18-May 1, May 16-22, June 6-12. That’s just so far. And I think Boehner set the schedule so they have Fridays and Mondays off, right?

Wow – I’d be hard pressed to find any real working American who has a schedule like that – and gets paid a six figure salary (outside of the top 2%, of course). I just tweeted your message.

Some have the audacity to try to get upset when FLOTUS goes outside the country, but say nothing when Boehner rarely has the House in session. All these breaks they have and they still get paid.

            • June 24, 2011 at 7:14 pm

Hey Theo67, thanks so much for finding the vid for me, really appreciatie it. Also Chips thanks for looking.

    • June 24, 2011 at 9:19 pm

Those are days they could be working on a job bill. I guess Boehner have to go play more golf. You have people blaming President Obama for everything, is it his fault Congress is gone on another vacation. When they ought to be working on the problems facing this country. Seem to me since the Republicans have been in control of the House, all they have done was go on vacation. Is the media going to blame this too on Obama?

I just wrote Chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz a note about follow up on the Sunday Morning Shows Appearances. Hopefully, getting more of the Dems on the shows to get the message out for the President. How they could work with the leaders who really has his back and get them out there speaking.
