AP: The top fundraisers for Newt Gingrich’s presidential campaign have abandoned his struggling bid amid anemic fundraising and heavy spending.
Campaign spokesman R.C. Hammond is confirming to The Associated Press that fundraising director Jody Thomas and fundraising consultant Mary Heitman have left the team.
The former House speaker’s campaign has been on life support since earlier this month when 16 top aides and advisers resigned en masse over disagreements with the Republican candidate. Gingrich has insisted that he will stay in the race.

I figured that was just a very unflattering photo… So I googled her. Wow. The ‘bug eyed’ picture really is unfortunate, but she does always seem to look like she has plastic skin and helmet hair. I saw one photo when her hair had some curl to it, but the skin? Still plastic. Wow, just wow. She’s kinda scary looking.
Seriously. Newt should just give up. At this point when all the rats are fleeing the kitchen, the head rat should follow suit. It’s just pitiful and laughable at this point. Karma really is a b***h. At the republican leadership conference Newt referred to PBO as a secular, atheist, european socialist who hates freedom and hates American exceptionalism. Fastforward to tuesday and he looks like a big joke while my brilliant, lovable “socialist” President’s campaign is moving full steam ahead. 😆
They need to quit and go on the circuit doing their fake historic documentaries and speeches. Poor guy never stood a chance of being dog catcher. He only got in to try to get more money for his fake projects. One more person messing with the aura around my president. They will keep dropping like flies. Keep watching.

Speaking as a woman who’s had her own facelift (thus knowing a little of where I speak), can I just say..UGH! My plastic surgeon would turn in his scalpel if he ever produced a result like yours.
