Dnc outraises rnc by 4.5 million in month of may. 10.6 million-6.1million!

That’s good news Jovie. Thanks for reporting it! Let’s continue to contribute to DNC and help them reach their goal by June 30th!!

      • June 20, 2011 at 7:31 pm

I sent my donation in last week. It may not be a lot, but I’m going to keep sending in what I can. And I plan on talking to my family and friends and asking them to send in whatever they can. This re-election is too important.

        • June 20, 2011 at 7:46 pm

Yes I sent a donation In last week along with a Presidential Survey, that I get a few times a year It Is a chance to tell the Dnc how I rate PBO. Of course I give him a good rating. Plus I send a few dollars online sometimes, and here and there sometimes. I’m doing what i can. I’m operating on a fixed and retired Income. Makes me feel good that I can contribute something 🙂

          June 20, 2011 at 7:46 pm

It sure is an important re-election anniebella and that’s why no amount is too small. Thanks for showing your support to our President! 😀

    • June 20, 2011 at 5:02 pm

LOL- that is outstanding news Jovie, I was wondering who raised the most.. and whether the media would take notice when dems outraised repubs. If anyone is ever in doubt of our media’s bias- this should answer that question. Also.. wondering here for those who watch Rachel or others on MSNBC… will they mention it?

Wonderful pictures and news of FLOTUS & children’s arrival- I too am looking forward to this trip.. thank you Chips~

It amazes me that people are seriously donating to the RNC with all the nonsense and foolery they are doing. But cults have their followers.

      • June 20, 2011 at 7:33 pm

Let’s not forget there are people out there who hate this President. So it does not surprise me. Racists sure do have their followers.

      • June 20, 2011 at 7:48 pm

Yeah, but they probably have the Koch Brothers dropping heavy $$$$

        • 41 isonprize
          June 20, 2011 at 9:35 pm

Oh yeah!! The Koch brothers hate Pres. Obama’s very being!! They STILL can’t and won’t wrap their minds around this man being president. It’s really a shame. They are evil. Really, really evil.

    • June 20, 2011 at 7:34 pm

However, I read that that total includes 6.1 million transfered from Obama’s Victory Fund.

    • 43 LunarSea
      June 20, 2011 at 8:09 pm

Unfortunately, they don’t have to do much fundraising. They have Citizen’s United. They will just sit back and wait till they get a solid nominee, then flood their winner with cash. Koch brothers alone can match anything PBO raises with a flick of a pen.

This is what PBO is up against and why he has to start now and continue to raise cash for the next 1 1/2 years. The money the thugs spent in the mid terms will look like chump change when all is said and done.

Fanstastic news, Jovie – I so appreciate you us informed. Wonderful. Absolutely Wonderful. Well maybe the DNC fundraising raising totals have been understated -they should be $10,000,025.00 -Yep I will be giving $25 *smile*

The visit to the cell where Mandela was imprisoned for 27years and to see all his memorabilia, will give me plenty so sob about .

Ahhhhhhh. Tweety has a segment on Friday’s Let Me Finish. Still seems as though he’ll be talking about Democrats not having enough women leaders again. Waiting to see what that toot will say.

    • 64 Debz
      June 20, 2011 at 5:46 pm

Didn’t he get enough e-mail from every one complaining about that segment Friday? When Tweety gets the hots for someone there is no stopping him, iguess.

        June 20, 2011 at 5:50 pm

i abandoned Tweety a long time ago – his emotions were too much of a roller coaster for me. I only watch when people say there’s something worth watching. I’ve now relegated Rachel and O’Donnell to that place, as well. They just swing too wildly.

Chris is being an ass. He’s getting his butt schooled by Debbie and Anita. He’s good when he’s good, but can be so disappointing sometimes on certain issues. This is one he should stay away from. He just doesn’t get it. He’s secretly in love with Michelle Bachmann. He thinks he made her. He’s keeps saying that. I only watched this segment for the guests. He gets on my nerves.

Chris Matthews must be getting another thrill up his leg with Bachman. If I were his wife I would be concerned. That man is getting too many thrills up his leg from different policitians. One minute it’s Barack Obama, then it’s “President of the World” Bill Clinton, then it’s Ronald Reagan, then it’s Palin, and now it’s Bachman.

Be afraid Mrs. Matthews, be very afraid.

  21. June 20, 2011 at 5:56 pm

As you’ve probably heard that, tonight Keith Olbermann will start his own show tonight on current tv. His first guest are, Michael Moore, Marko M? from(Dkos) and as i understand Shultzer will be his side kick……lol….let the bashin begin. I read in his interview that he has spoken to Rachel Maddow since he left MSNBC, yet he tweeted once saying, how’s that Michael Steele working out for ya?…..Evidently he doesn’t like the love affair she’s having with M Steele.
It would be interesting to see if, his show will attract some of Rachel Maddow fans, we shall see?

I wouldn’t touch Oblerfool with a 10 foot pole. I’m sticking to Lawrence even if he is a douche sometimes i.e: Frackface Choi and Nutroots segments on Friday. Olberfool is a dye in the wool Nut, of the 7% Parasite Loser Nutroots. He and the other nuts have been mad at PBO from the very beginning when PBO got Bo instead of a mill or shelter puppy. Olberfool is a ginormous tool- unfortunately for him and his imaginary partners, his ego and girth are the only ‘big’ things about him. Ugh, can’t believe he’s back. Thank god I don’t have that station. 🙄

          June 20, 2011 at 6:48 pm

At least Larry O’Donnell votes, and he said as much. Olbermann doesn’t vote, or at least he didn’t vote in 2008. Olbermann has no business telling PBO what to do because he sat his arse home in Nov 2008. He did not participate in the democracy – he has no business dictating to the President.

FDL has officially jumped the shark as a Republican site. Almost all the comments are decisively anti-Obama with many pro-GOP. And it has been brought to the forefront that Jane Hamsher is actually a paid consultant for a Republican media outlet.

Although I had planned to stay away from Keith and his craziness, I can’t watch even if I wanted to…I have basic cable (this is a good thing)! I saw Keith on Jimmy Fallon last week and from what he said his show is going to be even more “fringed” than his show on MSNBC…towards the end of his time on MSNBC most nights I turned him off. Keith told Jimmy, he hopes to get Rachel once her contract with MSNBC has ended. Lawrence get on my last nerve sometimes, but I would rather watch him than Keith any day.

You mean he HASN’T spoken to RM since he left MSNBC? If so I wonder why. And that twit sounds very snarky and juvenile. I wonder what could have caused a rift between them. I guess Rachel didn’t stick up for him as he would have liked?

          June 20, 2011 at 6:07 pm

I think Rachel did the right thing taking care of herself at MSNBC and letting Keith hang with his own rope. I’m sure she’s grateful that he gave her the start, but she built her own credibility. However, I also want to know what the Michael Steele love-fest is all about, and what she thinks she’s doing letting Cenk give commentary on her show as though he understands what he’s talking about.

          • 82 Doris
            June 20, 2011 at 6:14 pm

Full disclosure. I’m not a fan of Rachel. Rachel is a member of the PL and I think she would go further left if she could. Ratings. Only after a meeting with the President did she back up a little. I’m from MD, so I truly don’t understand her love-fest with Michael Steele. She’s off the the charts like that Greenwald character.

Rachel Maddcow, like Olbertool, is a Nut of the 7% Parasite Losers Nutroots. I wonder if Ms. Maddcow lives her life like she complains about politics: completely black and white with no compromise or shades of grey in between? I love how she’s always trying to get us to emulate her great mentors the Greed Over People Party. Every time Democrats make the right moral choice she throws it back into their faces: “why did you get rid of Weiner the Weasel when the Repugs still have the prostitute guy……Why don’t Democrats sink to the the Nasty Republicans’ level and sling mud and tell untruths in order to win….why, why. why??????” I got a question for you Maddcow: why the hell are you still under the Democratic tent? Get the hell out if you’re so enamored of the GOP.

                June 20, 2011 at 6:33 pm

I totally agree with you, Lisa – just because the Repubs are in the hypocritical and value-less mud, why do we have to go there? Just because they hit below the belt, do we have to do it, too? The guy lied to her face, and instead of using this as an opportunity to show the differences in the two standards that the parties uphold, she bashed the Democrats because they chose to take the high road. How about showing that Weiner spent 13 years promoting himself and making a lot of noise, but delivering very little tangible benefits on his own, for all his bluster. I was really disappointed particularly over this Weiner nonsense.

Maddow loves Michael Steele because he is someone she can feel intellectually superior to. She cannot feel intellectually superior to President Obama and that’s a huge part of her problem with him.

I can’t stand any of them and I hope Olberman’s show bombs. I just read on BWD, the average viewership for that net is in the tens of thousands. The PL will call anything in that ballpark a hit, Olberman will be on DK promoting it, but in the RW, it means SQUAT. In the meantime, Mad Men won’t be back until next year, dammit!

Indeed – no matter what he says, they’re not going to be happy. Even if he snapped his fingers and brought all troops home in the blink of an eye, and left no mess behind, they’d have something negative to say about that. The truth is, the Democrats should be screaming for a jobs/infrastructure bill so we can employ these military folks when they come back home, instead of just adding them to the unemployment lines. I’ll wait to hear what the President says, because he’s actually thinking about people and consequences.

This is going to be an exciting week. I love the blankets and Mrs. O’s jacket. I have a question. I signed up with wordpress a few weeks ago and I can’t use my username. How do I delete wordpress from my computer. I am not smart enough to be messing with it. Thanks

  28. June 20, 2011 at 7:09 pm

I”m Barb and I have been reading all the comments everyday, laughing and crying with you all but just want this wordpress gone so I can just post without this confusion.or at least get my name back.

    • June 20, 2011 at 7:13 pm

I really wish we could sometimes block the comments under some of these videos…It pisses me off when I read some of the stuff written there by obvious ignorant and pure haters….

You Tube used to have a feature to do so, but they obviously did away with it. What I do to keep me from being tempted to read is just enlarge the screen. Like watching your TV unopposed 😀

I know what you mean. Yesterday I went looking for Obama baby videos and read some of the comments, most were good, a few were crap and one fool added a fricking chain letter thing talking about how anyone who reads the comment needs to attach it to three other videos or die at the end of 143 hours WTF?!!! Really? What is wrong with these lackwit dumbasses? I think America’s collective moral and intellectual IQs are consistently decreasing. 🙄

        • June 20, 2011 at 9:49 pm

I know Lisa, I no longer waste time in reading the hateful comments, but when I do, I make sure that I give hands up to those, that are defending the President.
Yesterday, once I found out the Juan, had written a very positive op-ed on Fox, so i went over to Fox read it, I also ended up reading all the vile and filth,
So I decided to simply fight back, without having to type a message by simply, posting a link about WTF HAS OBAMA DONE, in almost every other comment…lol and they were many, I didn’t wait for any response, just cut and past. My logic was that; I didn’t care if they cussed me out, and if out a few hundreds, I had a dozen click, it was all worth it. The fact that I had many thumbs up on Fox it made it even sweeter.:-)

My mum back in Africa keeps on c/o of all the lies spewed abt Potus on mnsbc and I tell her not to watch and just tune them out. But anyway, she is disturbed abt the personal attacks on Potus.

  31. June 20, 2011 at 9:21 pm

Oh!!!!!!!!!! My My ……….CHIP, that Pic of President with shades, is wayyyyyyyyy to cool..WoW
I’ve been glued to the pictures of the girls being embraced by the flags, I noticed that Sasha seemed a bit shy, or maybe didn’t know how to react, but Malia’s face on the second picture, her smile in appreciation of the symbolism it really shines in her face. Moments like these are just so so special…..(where’s my kleenex)

    Thank you Kindly Chip

LET THE FIGHTING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!! BECK VS VAN JONES

    This sound serious
Jones’ attorney sent a cease and desist letter Monday to Dianne Brandi, the network’s executive vice president for legal & business affairs, claiming that “a series of sensational and inflammatory charges” have been made against Jones on Fox News shows. The statements, his attorney Joseph Sandler argues, are “demonstrably, unequivocally and absolutely false.”

In a six-page letter, the letter says that Jones has been called “radical revolutionary” (Beck), “an avowed Communist and 9/11 truther” (Sean Hannity), and a “far left kook, Communist guy” (Bill O’Reilly), to name just a few of the disputed allegations.

“Mr. Jones is not a member of any Communist Party or Marxist organization whatsoever, and has not expressed any support for any form of Communist or Marxist ideology for many years,” Sandler wrote. He added that such statements are “demonstrably and unequivocally false” and were made to “injure Mr. Jones in his professional and community standing.”“They are actionable as a matter of law,” Sandler writes.

Oh, I hope he gets many, many millions! What they did to Van Jones, and the fact of this country’s loss of such a passionate advocate of green technology in the Administration, was a crime. And it was wrong. Good for Van Jones!

Malia is built just like her mom. She is learning how to be a little lady and is gaining poise and confidence in greeting the dignitaries. Sasha is a little cutie. She is still at the unconcerned age. Mom (Mrs. Obama) is so classy, cool, calm and collected. Those roses are the richest shade of red. How lovely!

I always think Malia is just like her father. There are lots of pictures of the two of them unconsciously holding the same facial expression, or walking in exactly the same way. She has some of her mother’s mannerisms, but I think she’s a duplicate of her father. And Sasha looks exactly like the President’s mother – I saw a picture of her (the President’s mom) as a little child, and they looked so much alike.

This is so beautiful to behold. May the angels of peace and protections surround all of them. We give thanks for our SS detail, and all the wonderful people who make it happen for our First Lady and our President.
