a perfect fit

Washington Post: CNN’s senior White House correspondent Ed Henry has jumped ship and is now chief White House correspondent for Fox News Channel.

Henry’s hiring is part of additional changes in FNC’s Washington bureau, the cable news network announced Monday. Wendell Goler and Mike Emanuel, who had shared White House responsibilities, have received new assignments.

…Henry’s move is the latest defection of on-air talent from CNN to FNC since January; that’s when John Roberts, who was at the time the latest in a revolving door of CNN “American Morning” co-anchors to be removed from the gig, joined FNC as a national correspondent.

Steve Benen: Ed Henry leaves CNN for Fox News. The guy has always struck me as more of a show horse than a work horse.

That’s where he belonged right from the ourtset!

    • June 20, 2011 at 7:18 pm

I totally agree with you , Uche. We are now seeing these folks true color come out. Now they can go to FOX and really, really really trash the President. Sorry bastard. I never liked Ed Henry, or John Roberts. But specially Henry. Why is it they all run to FOX? Didn’t Lou Dobbs go to Fox after he was let go from CNN.

Iam glad he is leaving CNN, I won’t be watching his spin on the so called exclusives from unnamed sources. I am going to check out Keith Olberman tonight then I will be live blogging my views on the New show, just curious. Markos better watch out I will bitch slap him if he attacks my President.

    • June 20, 2011 at 7:21 pm

Let me know how Olbermann is, I will have to make a decision as to weither or not I watch him.

They may start off seemingly “neutral” to lure in voters, but as the weeks go buy, they will ratchet up the Obama bashing. It’s a recipe that they all use.

I think so too. I was a faithful watcher and took Keith back many times, but at the end, he tore his but with me. Michael Moore and Markos can’t stand them.

Justin time for election season. If Keith messes up the election, after declaring that he doesn’t vote, and seeing first hand how much more fortunate he is than the average American (in terms of health care), then he should be ashamed. And Al Gore will have to be ashamed, too.

Can you believe that tool doesn’t vote? If he doesn’t vote, what right has he to complain about government or politics? The guy is a total and complete disgrace. He should be ashamed to admit such a low thing. If he’s not going to do his civic duty, then he should shut the H-E- double hockey sticks up! I have friends who don’t vote and as much as I try to encourage at least a smidgen of interest in government, they yawn it off and tell me they don’t care. They had no opinions on Bush nor do they have any opinions on PBO. They just don’t care. While I don’t believe this is particularly healthy, I understand and I back off when the political chatter gets too much for them. But at least they aren’t slinging stones at PBO. They recognize that by not being part of the solution, there is a tacit acknowledgment that they are possibly part of the problem and don’t attempt to be hypocritical enough to criticize when they didn’t vote in the first place. Olbertool is ridiculous and has outpaced and outdone himself of my long List of Morans ( 😉 ) I think at this point he’s surpassed even Bill Madcap O’ Reilly and that tool was pretty darned high on the list and that’s a darned shame. 😕

I always thought that Ed Henry’s face was bloated with lies. He’s easily a great fit for FOX NEWS.

    • June 20, 2011 at 8:16 pm

Yeah I fell out with Ed Henry at one of the press meetings PBO had, and the Ed got a bit snippy with PBO, and Prez put him Is his place nicely, but sharp. I just loved It

Who will be next leaving for Fox? Wolf Blitzer , John King.

    • June 20, 2011 at 7:50 pm

King is perfect for Fox. Blitzer? Sesame Street?

Actually, he’s not smart enough for Sesame Street. 😕

Since John King hosted that ridiculous “debate” (which was a sort of audition), and his wife (Dana Bash) is a complete sycophant for the right wing party, I think he’s probably next.

nothing like diseased rats rushing to home to the motherland. Good riddance. I’m tired of being surprised by wide-eyed crazy repugs on stations that I thought were safe. It’s like that time I was taking a walk by the pond, relaxed and marveling at how wonderful it was that I’d never run into a snake in all the time I’d walk that particular pathway, how great it was that the area was all man made and constantly upkept by maintenance and landscapers and therefore must be free of all disgusting slither nasty useless terrors like snakes. 8 minutes later I was walking back on the same path and guess what I saw? Nasty critter was HUGE and I almost had a heart attack more than thirty years sooner than the national average. Nasty bastard. Point is, they are snakes in the grass, just laying in wait for you to walk by all calm and relaxed so that they can strike out at you and infect you with their venom. So glad they are outing themselves and going straight to the snake pit where everybody knows where the snakes are and no one needs to worry about them unless they voluntarily go over there. Nasty critters 😡

Oh, I didn’t finish the story which also has some meaning…… the the snake was HUGE and I ran into it, only it was belly up and there was something huge in his belly. Apparently his eyes were bigger than his stomach and whatever that idiot ate killed him from the inside out. You could see whatever he’d eaten moving around inside his stomach, trying to get out. Don’t know what happened to its body after that, maintenance people probably disposed of it. The moral of this part of the story is that people like Danna, her dumb husband Ted, Ed, Asshole, whatever is name is, were like sleeper cells. They hid deep in areas they would be least suspected waiting for their clarion calls and as soon as the Teapublican Rapture came along, they stopped pretending that they were anything other than spies and plants in our midsts. They are now power hungry and punch drunk mad on the power they’ve gained out of the Shellacking of 2010. But the lesson of the snake- a powerful, dangerous age old predator-is that there are weaknesses. That snake’s eyes grew too big when it saw it’s prey. The temptation to go overboard outweighed animal instinct and cunning. The same is true for the Republicans in their current incarnation. The power they devour and consume will soon overwhelm and destroy them and one day, they( as they exist now) like that greedy snake, will simply be disposed of, never to be seen again. Blessed be that day.

My entire family pray unceasingly for President Obama and his family…

Our prayers as led by my mother, has been that God continue to abundantly bless, protect, guide, guard and defend President Obama and his family…

We pray also that God expose, uproot and destroy and permanently bind and cast into the deep pit any and all things and persons operating in President Obama and his family’s lives and sphere of influence that are not of God, and any and all things and persons that seek to cause President Obama and his family harm, sorrow, or pain…

We have prayed that God expose, uproot and destroy every single one of President Obama’s enemies – in any shape or form they’ve taken: undermining agents, saboteurs, detractors, attackers, false friends…

And all ourheartfelt prayers continue to be heard…

For expose them God has done, and plenty of previously dormant but dangerous foes he has brought to the fore and most have gotten carried away in their hate and arrogance…

Brazenly hateful arrogance: Roger Ailes, Rupert murduch and their minions of every stripe…Their cocky and careless arrogance mostly bordering on sheer madness…

And he the Gods wish to destroy, they first make mad…

And they will all be destroyed…

Ed Henry isn’t moving because he’ll feel more comfortable in the FOX environment. CNN is just as newsless as FOX. Ed must be getting a big raise. Ailes knows how to buy loyalty and he knows how to pick people who are less than talented, so their loyalty is tied to their lucrative contracts.

CNN lost the ability to present accuracy in the news long ago, so it’s not much of a jump for their correspondents to move to FOX. It does appear, however, that CNN has become the training ground for FOX.

This might be a good time for CNN to get back to being less about “the place for politics” and more about “the place for news”. But, I wont’ hold my breath.
