Good morning and Happy Father’s Day to the President and all TOD fathers. I’m fired up and ready to fight the lies another day. May Mr. Clemons RIP. To all men out there, your health is nothing to play with. Please, please get regular check-ups, eat right and exercise. Your loved ones deserve to have you around for as long as possible.

FLOTUS with her Let’s Move and eating healthy campaign is doing a tremendous service for this country. Please listen.

Just heard that great sax playing by Clemons on a tribute on our local newscast. Very sad.
See that Jon Huntsman is being investigated for violating the Hatch Act, campaigning while he was still serving as ambassador. He and his wife are trying to sound like they were JUST SHOCKED when they arrived home from China and found a highly organized, professional political campaign staff all set up and ready to go. They just had NO IDEA!

Oh that is too good. I told you he was a snake. I hope they nail his butt to the wall. Ha! Is that the sound of another republican campaign imploding?

But, but, but he has seven kids, one from India and the other from China. That should take care of everything. No worries.

        Dirty snake Hunstman.

Good morning Chipsticks and my fellow TOD’ers. Happy Fathers Day to PBO, the fathers in our TOD family and fathers all over the world. As for Mr. Clemmons, I hope the good Lord helps him rest in eternal peace. I have always enjoyed his sax playing and his partnership/friendship with Bruce Springsteen. He’ll be surely missed.

As for Huntsman I’m starting to see more scum beneath the smooth veneer. I hope they continue a vigorous investigation to see if he did indeed violate the Hatch Act. How dare he campaign while still a member of the President’s employ and then act surprised. Also, watching MSNBC this morning and seeing them fawning in awe as to how Huntsman came in second in the republican leadership conference straw poll after ron paul even though he (hunstman) wasn’t present. I’m like d’uh he would come in second when he paid people to show up and vote for him so that he seems relevant. Gosh msm you have unlimited funds at your services; use it for sensible investigating.

Huntsman and his wife are shocked? Oh my. Funny I remember reading somewhere that he was in contact with people from the Mccain campaign about running for president. For someone who hasn’t even announced yet he also paid all that money already to come in second in the straw poll. None of this smells right. He should have remained ambassador and then ran for president in 2016, now he just looks like a snake.

And Politico even has a leading story today about all the problems that Huntsman’s family biz, the Huntsman Corporation, is going to cause candidate Huntsman, from doing business with Iran, providing polyurethane which was used for missiles, to moving the bulk of their biz to China and India to coming out against ethanol subsidies while his co. makes an alternative etc. etc. etc.

Looks like somebody in the GOP doesn’t want Huntsman to get the nomination.

        June 19, 2011 at 11:41 am

Yep, that is my read on it too. I wonder if that is enough to keep Huntsman from officially declaring?

    • June 19, 2011 at 9:48 am

      Oh dear.

This guy is gonna melt down, like all the rest. If somebody is a wealthy GOPer in public office, I just assume there are some shady business dealings in their past. Looks like he’s just another outsourcing, slash-and-burn, trickle-down, race-to-the-bottom republican. They all follow the same business model that has helped destroy the middle class. Nothing new.

I never felt this guy would be a true threat to PBO, this is just evidence to back that up.

      Thanks, dotster :-).

Did you know Clarence, Fred? What an incredible musician. I was honored to see him play with Springsteen in the 70’s while going to school at Ohio State. My roommate took me and I was mesmerized. Years later, I could always tell if it was Clarence on the sax….he will be missed.

    Good Morning, TOD Family!

Happy Fathers Day to our Dad-In-Chief and to all the fathers in our families. XOXOXOXOXOXO!!!

Think Progress reports on Twitter that Jon Stewart says he voted for George H.W. Bush in 1988. That explains Stewart’s tirades against the President. Stewart is like Schultz, Cenk, HuffPuff: Republicans playing Democrats for money and to mess up our party.

I was lucky enough to see Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band in concert years ago. I had great seats and a great view of Clarence Clemons. He was amazing! May he rest in peace.

May all of the fathers here on our family have a beautiful Father’s Day. Fathers are so very special to us and I want to send big hugs to all of you. I know that I miss my father and grandfather so very much. So please enjoy this day with yours and please let them know how much your admire them, love them, and are grateful for their support throughout the years. Those who may not have this relationship season with your father, may you find loving healing, heartful forgiveness, and a sweetness of respect where you are able to do so. I wish all of us to find something that we can remember thatt is and was good about the fathers we know. Have a blessed day, my TOD family.
