so the pl = 7%? but, but, but: they said they were the base!

RollCall: Despite their grousing about the administration during the Netroots Nation conference, liberal activists and bloggers are relatively happy with President Barack Obama’s performance.

A straw poll conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research showed that 80 percent either approve or strongly approve of the president …. The results broke down to 27 percent strongly approving of Obama and 53 percent approving “somewhat.” Thirteen percent said they “somewhat disapprove,” and 7 percent strongly disapprove of the president.

Thankk you Proud 😉

HA! Interesting poll. The PL seem to think if they keep repeating, over and over that they are the base, that it will become true.

If you read further into the article, it’s cites Herman Munster talking about how his candidacy is “on the rise,” so he will continue to “be [him]self.” Fool, it’s “on the rise” cause you’re black and they figure it’s possible that only a black man can help to beat a black man. No, that doesn’t mean you’ll win the nomination, it means they hope you’ll steal enough of PBO’s black votes that when you eventually bow out of the race-which you will, cause the Repugs are racist and aren’t ready for a black leader i.e: Notorious G. O. P: Michael Steele- you will endorse either Mittens The Ridiculous or Tiny Tim and therefore, confer all your black votes on one of them. There’s nothing I hate more than a damned fool.
ps- Hello All, how are you? Happy Father’s Day to two of my MAIN MEN!!!! Shout-out to POTUS and VPOTUS!!! Have a great day guys 😆 😆 😆

Now that our President is using Twitter himself, I hope he sees this tweet from me:

@BarackObama Hope you’re having a spectacular Father’s Day, Mr. President. You are doing a phenomenal job. Thank you, Sir!

I really hope the president doesn’t read his mentions. It can be a really vile place.

Also PoB, tell the President to say hello to Michelle and the girls. And I don’t want to leave Grandma out and Bo. Tell Michelle we’re praying for them to have a safe and enjoyable trip to S. Africa.

Given that it was a gathering of professional whiners, the fact that only 7 % strongly disapprove of the President’s performance is actually a statement of just how insignificant these lamesters are. If that’s the best they can muster in a crowd of bloggers and FL/GG/Corny/Kos-addicts, you know how NOT the base they are.

And that’s 7% of Progs. A friend from my DK days broke it down further. It’s about .03% of voters.

I watched the c-span coverage of the netroots conference with White House Communication Director Dan Pfeiffer. He was very informative and called them out on their whining and whenever they tried to wrongly assign blame on PBO, he corrected them before they could say “Jack.” They complain and whine about everything. This President has been working tirelessly on everyones behalf. Instead of attacking him, they should hold the repugs feet to the fire and inquire of them what they’ve done to advance the middle and working class lately. The repugs are an attack machine all on their own and PBO certainly doesn’t need those who are supposed to be part of his base jumping on the bandwagon. My question to them is that no one says they shouldn’t hold PBO’s feet to the fire; as citizens it is our duty to make sure our leaders are working for us, but we should not criticize unfairly and at the end of the day do they think having a repub in the White House is a better option. They should suck it up and get to work on re-electing a fantastic President.

Re: Herman “Munster” being the answer to PBO…HA! HA! HA! The Republicans still don’t get it. They look only at color, which does show their racism clearly. They don’t realize yet that color is not why PBO is president: it is because of his heart, his compassion, his intelligence, his smile, his patience, his evenness, his forward looking, his always having a plan, his calls to unity. And next time you can add to that his many accomplishments this first term, which we all know and have been detailed, and which I need to memorize!!!
I think it is funny that RightOnline FOLLOWS the Netroots convention to the same city. Okay…we should be leading in every way.

The “base” does not have enough disposable income to attend silly conventions created by some dude they never heard of. The “base” cannot afford the daycare needed to allow them the opportunity to leave their homes for a few days in Vegas or wherever the convention facility was located. The “base” works two jobs, cares for aging parents, and spends their free time cutting coupons to buy groceries. The “base” that is fortunate enough not be so burdened down are knocking on doors or making calls to reelect the best president of their lives.

  13. June 19, 2011 at 6:13 pm

I made sure to vote and gave Obama 100% favorable!

Amen again. The base is part of the “foundation”, our President, Barack Obama. Remember we quietly go on about our business and work like we are doing,, little here, a little there, and then you have it. What is next. They just get so upset and go off because they can’t see us or hear us at times, but when we close the deal, it is DONE. Have you heard of the ant in scripture. ? They work quietly but wi Tweety and others,, you know how ants can make you want to cry when they get in your cupboards and do not let them get on your kitchen counters. They will mess up your entire day. Let’s keep working. th precision to gather their food in the one season to eat in the next season. So watch out

I don’t think they’re even 7%. Net Nation was the sample group – a collection of the most leftist folks in America.

7% at Net Nation, more like 2-4% of the Democratic Party as a whole.

Huff n’ Puff is going to be pissed. They better pull that bogus story they posted last week.
