I have two daughters from China. I think most adoptive parents would really find this offensive that he’s singling out two of his seven as adopted instead of just part of the family as much as his birth children. Adoptive parents (most of us anyway) really, really resent any implication that we’re “saving” children. When he points out he’s got two internationally adopted children, he’s saying, “Hey, look at the great guy I am!”
