These videos are works of beauty – I just watched them on another site. This is how the whole country should react when they see Brietfart. He’s scum of the earth, and he’s done a lot of damage.

theo67, you’re right the whole country should react like that when they see that creep Breitbart, and they should react like that when they see that other mental case, Dan Choi. Wacko Choi.

Looking at the video, why didn’t they just kick Breitbart out of the place? If he had no business being there then a police should have shown him the door. Believe me I am not having any sympathy for Breitbart.

That was disturbing on many levels. Two wrongs don’t make a right and that was disturbing to see humans behaving in such a manner. No civility. Shameful on all sides.

This basically creates footage that Breitbart can use to prove that his opponents are insane. Somebody wiser than me said an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind. You can’t shout people like Breitbart away. That’s what he wants. He wants everybody to join the darkside.

I dig the President’s approach. You don’t engage them, stay true to your values and just watch them flameout. Sarah Palin had a huge spike in national popularity right after she the read the speech written for her which ridiculed the President’s community organizing. Where is she now? Now she’s a national joke who can be seen rewriting Paul Revere’s biography while the vast majority of the country hopes she never becomes President. Anthony Weiner seemed to never have a good word about a President who he thought just wasn’t “a values guy.” The President just did his job as best that he could. Never returned the fire. Where’s Weiner now? No trash talker has flamed out as spectacularly as Mr. Weiner. You can’t beat loud talking smear merchants like Breitbart in their own game unless you want to become a loud talking smear merchant too. You have to play your game because you lose as soon as you play theirs.

So much truth to what you say.

Spot on, FiredUP, “an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind,” one of my dad’s favorite sayings. Our political discourse ontinues to devolve into a reality show. That’s how it seems these days. In the streets, we scream at each other for taking a minute too long when the red light changes.

My husband witnessed a disturbing scene in one of our local drug stores reently. The patronn on line in front of him tried to make small talk with the cashier, when she politely opted not to play with him, he got enraged and called her every name in the book before walking out.

You are right. Get into the gutter with the loud mouths and trash talkers, you too will come out every bit as muddy.

The scripture Proverbs 26:4 says (paraphrasing): You argue with a fool, you, yourself, also become a fool.

I only watched the 1st video because it was so painful to see and hear. These people are all nut cases. They need serious help.

This is awful behavior on the parts of everyone involved. Breitbart for crashing a convention without paying or getting press credentials and thinking he is entitled to just ignore the rules, and the guy who chased him for being obnoxious, rude and awful. How much better it would have been to simply tell Breitbart he had to pay or leave and then escort him from the building politely while clearly stating he was welcome to return if he paid the registration fee. Instead the people at Netroots look like idiots who are just as bad as Brietibart.

Absolutely PITIFUL behavior! Our citizenry on the fringes have been too influenced by Jerry Springer/Maury Povich style mentality. Thank God our President leads by example and has the wisdom to continue in his own way. I love “No drama Obama”. That’s why he is blessed and nobody will be able to touch him. The fringe PL seems to be Teapublicans dressed up as Dems… and not dressed up very well either.

Its amazing how the right side of the aisle can dish out the (bull shut your mouth) but can’t take it.

I agree, I didn’t know what to think as I was watching. Both sides were confusing

You were rightly confused because this is probably another publicity stunt orchestrated by both the far-right and the Libertarian faction of the NUTROOTS, both of whom have the SAME goal, which is to muddy the message of the Democrats, confuse voters and ultimately destroy the Democratic President’s chances of getting re-elected. I don’t believe anything that comes from this segment of the NUTROOTS – particularly where Breitbart, Hamsher or Dan Choi are involved.

Even though I’ve seen the video with Michelle, the crying baby and Barack several, several, several ties, I should have watch that instead of that mess involving Brietbart and who ever that was. The crying baby video is much better than the other. At least it gives me a better feeling. Let me say this. Dear Lord please give the President and VP the strength to deal with those two clowns this morning as they play golf.

The so-called mob of attackers may have been Breitbart’s own plants, just as Dan Choi is Republican plant. Between certain segments of the NUTROOTS and the far-right, I see them as one and the same. They are a bunch of useless trouble-makers with a highly destructive streak. They are mad that Obama was elected President because it utterly shatters their distorted self-serving world view that they are superior to certain types of people.

The more reasonable folk who attend the NETROOTS would be well-advised to distance themselves from these narcissistic attention-seekers, or they might be dragged down with them faster than they anticipated.

I think the point was to give Breitbart a taste of his own medicine. Asking questions, that aren’t answered and changing them into a story. “Have you kicked your cocaine habit?” “Breitbart doesn’t deny his cocain habit.” Good headline!??? Just think of the hatefilled, mis-information that could be circulated on the internet. That is how he makes-up crap. Use some fancy editing and you could really make some stories. I’m not saying what they did was right, but what he does is soooo wrong.
