Rushing off to work but stopped to see this week’s episode of West Wing Week. Loved the ending. That little girl was not going to be happy until she got a hug from the President.

Okay by a show of hands, who here feels the same way? (even tho we absolutely love Mrs. O) It’s like that baby could’ve been any one of us. ๐Ÿ™‚

Running out the door, so won’t get a chance to see responses until late tonite. Hope everyone gets to experience a belly jiggling laugh today.

Did you see the little smirk he gave Michelle when the baby quieted for him? LOL! That is such a typical guy move, competitive in everything.
As we have all noted many times, it is incredible how babies and small children relate to him. They all reach for him, smile, and are so content to be held by him. It is such a stark contrast to Boehner’s attempt at interacting with kids at the picnic. There is just something about PBO that even the little ones get.

Another thing I noticed about the tape is that it shows how consistent PBO has been throughout his career about the things that he believes are important for our growth. The exec. Showing him around mentioned that PBO had visited there before the primary. The president has a vision, purpose, and drive . Others want to be president just to have the office; he wanted to be president to do something, not to merely become something.

I’ve watched that last part of the video just to take in the responses from the people around the president.

The kids at the front are totally in awe.

Good morning TOD Family ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope everyone have a great day. The West Wing Week video Is so Interesting, but most of all cute at the end. That was so real. Yeah, I’ve often watch the expressions on Little Ones faces as they come face to face with our beloved President. It’s just something about PBO that Intrigues People, even the Little ones. And oh what a great example of a Dad he exemplifies. We truly have a GREAT Leader by example. Carry on President Obama, you are doing a Great job, and we thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

These days I don’t often have the time to go though all the posts and the comments. The Summer Organizer Program is keeping me busy. But it is a true relief to be able to spend nearly all my time talking to people and finding so many who immediately say “Yes, of course I support the President”. Well, yes this is true blue Massachusetts (watch out Scott Brown!) – but still, there is something in those responses that simply doesn’t go with the negative, often hateful statements that I read in the papers and hear on the TV channels. The other day I approached two women in a park and asked them if they support the President. One of them looked down and did not say anything, but the other lady smiled broadly and said that yes, she definitely supports President Obama. She filled out an “I’m in” card and when I thanked her, the other lady looked at me and said “I want to sign one, too”. It’s almost as though her friend’s or neighbor’s enthusiasm gave her the courage to declare her support as well. What that tells me is that there probably are a lot of people who may be intimidated by the chorus of criticism and condemnation of
the well-organized anti-Obama faction, but deep down they still believe in the hope and vision that the President represents. It’s our job to keep that hope and vision alive. To all my TOD friends – enjoy the weekend!

I love West Wing Week and look forward to it each week. It’s always full of information, behind the scenes interaction and of course the end bit of humor. That smirk on PBO’s face is too much. And FLOTUS’ reaction is for real!!

It’s edp4bho again. On my fifth viewing….LOL. I love the little girl front and center. Her reaction to PBO’s calming the baby. And the boy behind her. The little girl was so elated she was beside herself. Too darn cute ๐Ÿ˜€

Just watched the video! That is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! That baby quieted right down, wow! Loved his expression ๐Ÿ™‚

The end was TOO adorable. I love when the baby kept on crying the President kept on saying “You better give her back.” And then the lady asks for the picture with FLOTUS so she gives the baby to the President and then she calms down. Too comical. And the President’s face and FLOTUS’ reaction. Too much! I think the baby was just crying to get the President to hold her ๐Ÿ™‚
