While you are at it please set Danny Deautch straight to Hell. He said the most stupid thing this morning and ruined my Michelleout. Morning my TOD family.

Here’s what I sent to Donny the minute he said he didn’t think PBO would be re-elected:

@Donny_Deutsch Obama re-elect: Doesn’t matter what you think. American people support the Prez; know Rs obstructing and favor rich like you.

And my Tweets to Joke who lied about how PBO is doing in Penn:

@JoeNBC Obama polling well because Americans know Rs obstructing. Your negative spin won’t work.

@JoeMSNBC U must have missed latest Q-poll on Penn. Obama rebounding; beats GOP field. Check it out.

It’s really hilarious to see them spinning their own poll because the numbers for PBO are so good despite all the lies they tell on him and how they try to bury his successes. Americans who read and think know the truth. And today, Huntsman is the guy to beat. Bachmann is sooooo great.

Excellent work – looks like this twitter thing provides immediate relief from right wing tomfoolery. I really have to figure that thing out.

    • June 16, 2011 at 8:45 am

      Morning everyone.

Thank you POB. That’s exactly what we need to be doing, pushing back at their fabrications. You go. I need to learn how to tweet , too. Now we know why the GOP base, aka, our Reality Show media can’t resist beating up on President Obama. The proof is in the pudding right here.

Except for the first few sentences in this article about PBO, this is what you have in the opposition to our president:

” Today’s Republican Party is so whacked, so loony, so fey in the attic, that winning its nomination requires taking positions that will render the nominee unelectable come November 2012.” Go figure!!

      Need I say more.

I wonder if he is remembering the first time he saw the Grand Canyon when he was a small child on vacation with his grandmother.

GOOD MORNING TOD FAMILY….THANK YOU CHIPS FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PIC THIS MORNIN’…..I’D LOVE TO KNOW WHAT THE PRESIDENT WAS THINKING ABOUT WHILE STANDING THERE!….PROBABLY ALL THE AWESOME THINGS GOD HAS MADE. AND I BET HE SAID A PRAYER OR TWO!

Ahhhhh . . . one of the wonders of the world – my President!

The Grand Canyon is breathtaking too!!!

    • June 16, 2011 at 10:13 am

Yes, the Grand Canyon is beautiful — one of the seven wonders of the world. There are so many things of beauty here. I only wish our politics were as fresh and wonderful as our state is.

  8. June 16, 2011 at 8:38 am

Al Qaeda just named zawahiri as the new number one. And congress has ignored the presidents letter and has told him his time us up on Libya, Sunday night!

I thunk they feel they have an opening here.

I do not want to see impeachment trials to something as crazy as Libya, so maybe it’s time to go!

DON’T WORRY….THE PRESIDENT KNOWS HE IS ON GOOD GROUND ON THIS…THERE ARE NO TROOPS ON THE GROUND IN LIBYA WHICH DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN ACT OF WAR. OUR PREZ IS IN THE SAFEBOX!

    • June 16, 2011 at 8:52 am

I doubt if you will see that, Jovie. But what these people are doing, is setting themselves up good and fine. Gaddafi is a mad man, who killed Americans and will do it again if he gets the chance. He kills his own people in record numbers.

These people will come to regret their theatrics. If President Obama had sat by and done nothing, these same people, especially the so-called PL would have been screaming bloody murder.

As for the Republicans siding with Kucinich and Conyers, they never would have done this if it wa a Republican. So, as far as I am concerned, they’ve all lost any credibility.

    June 16, 2011 at 8:44 am

Both the anti war Repubkes and anti Libya repukes are only helping PBO. PBO doesn’t like Wars and if they want him out of Libya and Afghanistan he will have them to be blameed if Gadaffi slaughters his own people. Morning Jovie.

The right wing and media and idiot Dems didn’t have a word to say when a sovereign country was invaded on lies and a million Muslims were killed. Now, they have something to say when thousands of Muslim lives are saved, because they feel the President didn’t come and ask them for permission. The lives saved means nothing to them.

What do you think this looks like to the Muslims that we’re trying to convince not to hate us?

ALL THEY ARE TRYING TO DO IS STIR UP DOUBT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT’S JUDGEMENT. NOTHING NEW HERE…THE USUAL. I DO BELIEVE THE LIBYAN FINANCES NEED TO PAY FOR IT.

      June 16, 2011 at 8:50 am

IN MY MIND…THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH NATO….THEY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE CRAZY ONE OUT OF LIBYA BY NOW….I QUESTION WHY THEY HAVE BEEN DRAGGING THEIR FEET….SOMETHING STINKS IN THAT CORNER! LOYALTIES???????

    • June 16, 2011 at 8:55 am

Personally, and this is just me talking, I will be glad when Hillary goes! She got him into Libya, she told Barack to give mccystal the troops he needs in afhanistan and she supported Mubarak!
And she supported the war in Iraq!
Off hand, I would say she is a war hawk.

      • 22 Lovepolitics2008
        June 16, 2011 at 9:55 am

I’m not sure I would qualify her as a war hawk. What Barack Obama has in spades and she doesn’t at the same degree is strategic thinking, the will to work with a long term perspective, and most of all, the courage to disagree with the military command.

    Ugh…

This is what a lot of health-care advocates were afraid of. Social Security has, to the surprise of many, been untouchable in this year’s various deficit talks and plans. Republicans reached out to touch the third rail of Medicare and got zapped. But Medicaid? Well, the program primarily serves the very young, the very poor and the very disabled. Those aren’t constituencies known for meting out iron-fisted vengeance at the ballot box. And sure enough, Janet Hook and Janet Adamy are reporting that “officials familiar with the talks in both parties say they expect Medicaid to be the biggest source of cuts in federal entitlement programs in whatever compromise emerges.”

MR. PRESIDENT, Medicaid is the main vehicle through which you’re expanding health care insurance via ACA!! Don’t let the Rethugs do that, sir!!

Good morning everyone. I love that picture of Obama at the Grand Canyon. That is one of my favorite places. I have walked to the bottom and actually flew in a small plane down into it when that was allowed. That was an experience because it was my first plane ride, it was in 1964.

I love DWS. She was so great yesterday on the Early Show. We need 100 more of her. Thank you POB for showing us the way on twitter. I will get there. Today is my very busy day. See you all late tonight.

GOP has finally found a tax it doesn’t want to cut. Obama wants payroll cut to boost jobs; GOP says no http://bit.ly/l7FKdY

I really just want to scream at these idiots. Americans should be outraged at the obstruction. If only they knew.

Building permits rose 8.7% in may ! And us jobless claims fell 16k to 414k!

Pete Souza is a great photographer with very handsome subjects in the First Family. His photos of them always look like something that should be in a Land’s End or J Crew magazine. Very preppy, wholesome and expansive in scope.

I missed Chips good night inspirational piece last night. Thank you. Some of these folks who never voted for PBO and never will, are the ones that are the loudest pretending to be part of his base. They don’t fool us. When you support someone, even if you disagree with them, you don’t spew the kind of bile we see spilling from these people. They are no supporters of this president.

That (cartoon) clip at the bottom of that thread should be a stick post as a reminder to all of us just what the PL is. Thanks again, Chips. PBO continues to inspire me.
