Thank you Fred. Our President’s business as a father of two young daughters should have absolutely nothing to with Mr. Weiner.

A small clip from tomorrow’s interviw: The Presindent obviously was asked about Weiner by Ms. Robin, and he basically responded that he wishes Weiner & wife the best – obviously this incident was tough for Weiner, but he (the President) is confident that Weiner and his wife will be able to refocus and bounce back from this.

Well of course she had to asked him about Weiner………….roll eyes…..

I have a feeling he’s going to be on Current TV very soon…..a regular on Keith’s show……one more to trash the President…..

I wish him good luck with that. At some point trashing this President only carries you so far – especially when your junk is being displayed all over the Internet. I would hope that he would simply quit all media appearances to focus on his marriage, get some help and prepare for the demands of a new baby.

Well between Michael Moore and Markos…he’s going to fit right in….from what I saw in some ”progressive” blogs, he’s the victim and the President is the bad guy….as usual….he is still their hero…..

        I wish you’re right though hopefruit2.

He needs time to heal and focus on his family.

Imagining championing a guy like Wiener, given all we know of his past and current situation, over a man like PBO. It’s really staggering to see any logic in that. It’s just gross.

        • June 16, 2011 at 8:30 pm

Did you read what Markos said? Said Weiner is an idiot and gets no sympathy from him. For once we are in agreement.

You know the problem with the PL they mistake being a loudmouth, who loves the camera, to be the fearless champion of Progressivism. I have not seen an example of any major progressive accomplishment by Anthony Weiner who has been in Congress for ten years.

If he did not learn any humility from this then he’s got a lot of growing up to do.

Cool. I like this. Any news involving Obama with a sport with a traditional conservative reputation is a good thing. And if Obama’s going to be there I may return to Mediinah. Years ago my husband and friends made me go there to watch one of the pro tourneys, and there was the worst lightning and thunderstorm—-the golfer Lee Trevino was struck by lightning that day—–and I freaked out and I took off running and ran miles back to the clubhouse. My flight response was impressive, just a crazy lady streaking through the woods there, fast as blazes. Husband still brings it up once in a while asking, “Where’d you go?”

I am looking forward to seeing the President talk about his girls. I don’t want to hear anything else about Wiener. I hope he can get some help and he can focus on being the best Dad for his coming baby.

President Obama is always so gracious. I would have loved to have met his mother because the President’s sister, Maya, is also a soft spoken, articulate and gracious lady.

My mother used to have a saying….a lady and a gentleman can walk equally among paupers and kings.

She would have seen our President as just such a gentleman.

It is pretty amazing that the first question by Ann Curry this week and probably the first question by Roberts is the Weiner question. That is pitiful and so telling about how far our “news” media has strayed off track. Here they have the President of the United States sitting right across from them and they ask about Weiner, as if President Obama has control of or a connection to Weiner’s weird behavior and as if there wasn’t a subject that was more important.
But I have always greatly admired President Obama’s uncanny ability to discuss any subject, no matter how prickly, in the best way possible. He frames everything perfectly. He never says anything dumb or phrases anything in an awkward manner a la Romney. President Obama has multiple skills and has been able to address some of the most difficult subjects in a brilliant manner.
And hooray to Obama for any encouragement he gives to dads. My sister and I feel that we had the best dad in the world. He so enriched our lives and made growing up fun. And it is obvious that President Obama is also such a supportive and loving dad to his girls, determined to be the kind of father he never had, as he has stated.

Meta, I am so happy that FLOTUS made this video explaining the purpose of the trip. You know Fox and MSM pawns would have been questioning why she went to South Africa.

Jovie, this is great news. especially at this time. I think I heard Rchel say , one of the thing Huntsman would be running on is ending the Afghan war. Of course we know it is only for political purposes.

Why is this news on Fox and not Rachel, O’Donell and company? Oh that’s right, they are too busy crying over Dems not having Weiner’s back 🙄

Rachel and Lawrence and their producers have no real compassion. I think that the leadership of the Dems have been supportive in this situation. And above all, I think that many of the Dems have a respect and painfulness within their hearts about
weiner’s wife. I bet you anything, POTUS spoke privately with SS Clinton and gave his regards to Mrs. Weiner through SS Clinton because SS Clinton as been reported as saying that Mrs. Weiner is slike a second daughter to her. I believe that President Obama would not want anyone sliming his beautiful daughters if they were going through this awful time in their lives. I just have so much concern and compassion for how Mrs. Weiner must be feeling right now. When do we give a little love and compassion to the people who are doing their jobs and serving alongside of important people like SS Clinton to protect us and carrying out important discussions all across the globe on our behalf? And we can’t stop and think, “Wow, how does Huma feel right now thousands of miles across the ocean about this while the people she is trying to help serve are bashing her husbands(his own doing) 24/7. What kind of people are we? I just hope that we will stop for a moment and hope for the best for her and her family and his at this time. Pray and wish, and hope for the best. I just want to see more loving and forgiving hearts in this time in our nation. We are all capable of doing something bad each and everyday of our lives. I would hope that there would be some compassion and forgiveness pointed in my direction. Lord knows, that is all He asks of us. It only takes a moments for any of us to fall, but by the grace of God or whatever spirit level that we each hold onto. I know of no other way to help Congressman Weiner and Mrs. Weiner but to put out my love, prayers for healing, and respect for them to take care of each other in a loving and renewed manner. And build upon their pain moving beyond this where love, forgiveness, patience and complete healing can and will open up for the new life held within Huma’s beautiful body. May God give them healing at this time.
