Is anyone surprised? I’m not. The more exposure they get, the more they talk, the lower they will fall. Every one of them exhibits what Aristotle called the fatal flaw of “hubris” defined as overweening pride. It is the downfall of almost every Shakespearean hero….these too will fall.

They can’t. That’s why all the attacks. I love my President and I’m going to fight their hateful asses. I donated today. I’m tweeting. Screw them. They will not take this country back to pre-Obama. But the dems can kiss my butt after he’s finished serving in 2016.

Chips, I’m glad you raised our contribution goal, because we’re going to help PBO raise more than a $1 billion.

But hardball never mentioned that. All he mentioned was that the president lost his bin laden bounce and stands at 49-46 percent!
    What is wrong with that?

    Pffffft, hardball!

The media in this country simply exists to bring down this President. NBC won’t even trumpet it’s own poll. The bias is so freakin’ blatant.

I received my survey/donation form from the DNC today. They had questions about the president’s performance and the lack of performance for the repubs. but nothing about themselves. I added in my own section and told them what iIthought about the poor performance of the dems in congress and their lack of support for the President. I also told them that I give directly to PBO’s re-election sites and that I would not send any to the DNC until they got their act together. They have made the president go it alone, so I will support only the one who is working so hard for us.

Way to go CEB. We all need to fight the Dems exactly this way. Let them know they can’t take us for granted. I already decided they will not get a dime directly from me. All my donations go directly to PBO. As for what jovie said below, it is true PBO is head of the DNC, but I’ll let him tell them for us. Maybe then they will start to listen and get in shape. Or die.

I didn’t watch the Republican Party debates but I did read several live blog updates and some fact checking articles. It sounds like none of the candidates actually answered the questions and they were not really challenged when they made outlandish claims. They all were anxious to get their soundbites out. And they all agreed that President Obama was a disaster. The worst president ever.

With that in mind, I have started to play a little game in my head that can be fun and horrifying at the same time. I try to imagine how the GOP candidates would have handled some of the challenges and drama faced by President Obama since taking office. Here is a sampling of some of the things I have come up with for starters. There are endless options……………..

    1) Which one of them could have given the speech in Cairo, Egypt?

    2) How would Tim Pawlenty have handled the decline of the auto industry?

    3) How would Michelle Bachmann have handled the Gulf Oil Spill?

    4) Which one would have arranged a Nuclear Summit with leaders from around the world?

    5) Which one would be able to write and deliver inspirational speeches?

    6) How would Newt Gingrich have handled the shooting of Gabby Giffords and how would he have comforted the nation?

    7) How would Herman Cain have handled the World Trade Center mosque controversy?

    8) How would Mitt Romeny have handled the START Treaty negotiations with Russia?

    9) How would Rick Santorum have handled the LGBT community and DADT?

    10) Who would have appointed Elizabeth Warren to set up the CFPB?

    11) How would Mitt Romney have handled the Arab Spring? (Tunisia & Egypt)

    12) What would Ron Paul have handled the strategic planning for ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

    13) How would Michelle Bachmann have handled answering questions from the press for one hour (without notes)?

VERY WELL SAID…AND THE CONSISTENT ANSWER IS ‘ZERO AND ZILCH!’….BUT….THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THOSE THINGS…THEY WANT ALL THE POWER AND CERTAINLY ALL THE DIBBS ON THE FINANCIAL WEALTH IN THIS COUNTRY. THEY ARE SELF-CONSUMED,IGNORANT AND ARROGANT PEOPLE WHO PRACTICE USING FEAR MONGERING TACTICS AGAINST THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY.

This is a good strategy to use against them, only if addressed directly to them. Maybe we all can take a line, and apply it to that particular congresscritter. I may choose line number 1 and offer that to Mittens.
