That’s the kind of stuff that the media just doesn’t care about. We are making change, but does anyone hear it if the idiot pundits don’t report?

Obama is back from the future.

Godd morning Jovie and TOD friends. I agree with you. Great articles. The only thing I see this morning is fawning over Bachmann and Romney. I tuned in and out of the swillfest and the PBO bashfest last night. No solutions; only critism.

❤ that pic! The older generations in my family had images up in their house of JFK always and now I have that kind of complete admiration for PBO. 😀

Those two posters kind of bracket my life…..Kennedy the president of my youth, Obama the president of my senior years….in between…..well…20 years of Reagan and Bushes…..’nuff said there! Some good ones, and one who got treated so unfairly, Carter. He probably had some weaknesses, but the Reagan lie machine tried to destroy him, and Carter almost won in spite of that. I trace the horrible, low campaigning to that year, 1980. That was when attacks on personalities began instead of discussing policy. Lee Atwater ramped it up for Bush I, and Rove took it to the extreme in 2000. We seem to be on a descending spiral now. I know President Obama wanted to change the tone in Washington but he’s fighting a one sided battle. When he speaks with integrity and honesty, the rightwing thugs laugh and make fun of him., and spin their lies.
