I had a look at GOPolitico today and hard as it might be to believe, it’s actually getting worse. I thought I’d somehow ended up on a Teabagger site. eg Julie Nelson’s take on Michelle Obama’s beautiful comments in Pasadena about her husband: “The audacity of mope”.
(Nelson is the woman who passes her time counting the number of black faces in the Obama administration (here) and remains obsessed with the President’s teleprompter (here), when even most other bigots have moved on …. not least since the realization that the half-termer can’t say hello without one).
Any way, a new vow: I will never, ever, ever, ever link to a GOPolitico story here again – they are, to put it mildly, scum.

Yes, I watched her at the Correspondents’ Din after someone noted her bias, and she just emanates hate from all her pores. She looked at the Obamas as if they had cooties. And I have since noted her constant scorn-filled, truth-challenged Obama rants. I’m in complete agreement, chips—about her and GOPolitico. And the real travesty is that the rest of the lazy media takes their headlines and runs with them as if they had merit.
I heard someone say that the Tea Party was the new KKK.
I am with you 100% Chipsticks about Nelson in particular, and bout Politico in general! That’s one site I refuse to waste my time on. Even when sites like yours and BWD make links to it, I generally read your take and leave it at that.
I’m with you, Chips. And I think we need to mount a campaign of our own to fight this bigoted garbage. This rag is used to lead the rethuglican meme every day. They are featured every morning on Morning Joke to set the news of the day. They are regularly held up as experts on every MSNBC show in the evening. They are really ramping up the attacks as we get closer to the election. It’s not working because PBO’s numbers are still good. But they’re working over time.
We’re got to work overtime. Letters. Tweets I really love tweeting now. Got a reply from Cantor’s team when I called him out on his lies about PBO’s job record. He steered me to the GOP plan and I fired back that it was more of the same failed policies. So Twitter does get attention. I see why David Ploufffe was studying the twitter feed.
I’m going to add good ol Julie to my Twitter list.
What makes this so bad is that, all of the so-called progressive talk show hosts get their pointers from Politico everyday. I have heard Bill Press saying how great they are, and he often has some of the folks from there as guests on his show. On another note, I read that Romney was taking a victory lap around NH this morning still bashing PBO. I think the Dems need to start taking him down a notch before the voters start believing his lies and swill.
This is the real problem, the democrats sitting on their butts and offering no comeback to the republican lies. Debbie and Steve Israel are the only ones standing up and doing the job of having PBO’s back. Today I saw a story on that rag HuffPuff (wasn’t going to mention it because it make by blood pressure shoot up) where Congressman Conyers, the crook, said they needed to tell the man they love in the white house to get off his butt and fight for jobs.
I fired off a tweet to his crooked butt. Asked him why he’d been sitting on his butt for 30 years doing nothing.
This is what PBO has faced since he was a candidate. These idiots like Conyers and Weiner are just so full of jealously and hate toward this brilliant, young president who has achieved more than they could imagine because he worked for it, they would rather you and I suffer. I hate them as much as I do the rethugs. And you know now I’m glad Weiner got his. The rest better watch out..
And why are the so-called liberal / progressives like Bill Press getting their meme from Politico? Because they’re a bunch of traitors too who still can’t get over Barack Obama whipping their chosen candidate Hillary Clinton.
And every msnbc anchor throughout the day and night features at least one Politico scum on their programs—-every one. They have a deal with msnbc, our “liberal” network, hahaha.

Chipsticks, you have my support. You can say what needs to be said. I am going to write each Democrat and tell them what I think of their actions toward the President by letting him carry the load by himself 99% of the time. I will do that. It is a start. I do not care how much time it will take.
