Ok Ann Curry just lost her freakin Mind, I just watched a promo for the Today Show on nBC nightly News and she is Asking the president why he is not angry with 14 million people out of work. But the way she asked it, she was in his face . Okey my blood is boiling I need a time out.

I think I’m going to be sick.

So do we have ann’s contact information? I haven’t seen it and I won’t watch it. But what these people think by disrespecting this president will get them places. If I was on the president’s team, this is the last interview she ever gets. The president never shys away from talking to them as some other politicians do, but this does not give them license to treat him with disrespect.

I will send a letter to the White House also bringing this to their attention. This man works himself to the bone because he believes in the American people, and all he gets is muck from these little people — little people that’s who they are.

I am so sick and tired of him being treated this way. Having read the First Lady’s thoughts today, i am even more incensed. We can’t take this sitting down, we have to push back at these people.

I juust fired off this email to TODAY!

When will you people that call yourselves journalists start asking republicans who ARE part of the government and who by the way controls all revenue spending when will they be putting forth a jobs bill?

They ran on jobs in 2010 and it’s been over five months and not one bill.

My advice to Ann Curry the next time she have Boehner or McConnell on asked them are they not mad that there are over 14 million people unemployed…..but as Boehner stated “if certain people lose their jobs SO BE IT”…..so I guess there will be no need to ask him.

Oh, one last thought my suggestion to Ann Curry why don’t she try hauling one of those newly elected republican governors in before the cameras and asked them why did they turn down the high speed rail projects which was estimated creating thousands of jobs while stirring private development along the lines.

The reason why this president poll numbers haven’t tanked is becasue we here outside the beltway are not dumb and we have seen the obstruction that this president has faced from the republicans since he came into office.

And you people wonder why you’re slowly becoming irrelevant.

And she just lost my freakin eyeballs. But Ann Curry will be hearing from me. I am outraged by this line of questioning. I plan to ask Ann how much research she did for this interview. I wonder if she has ever looked at the whitehouse.gov website. This White House is a beehive of activity. Every time present Obama is near a mircrophone he is talking about jobs and the economy. Not to mention the town halls and visits to plants around the country. And the jobs council meeting today in N.C. And Ann Curry has the nerve to ask President Obama why he is not angry about people being out of work?

I plan to school her on the fact that Nancy Pelosi is not the Speaker of the House. She should be asking Speaker Boehner why his caucus has not introduced one single jobs bill in 5 months. And while she is at it, she ask Boehner why his caucus is intent on disenfranchising voters, dismantling unions, defunding the ACA, redefining rape, abolishing Roe v Wade, and attacking women’s reproductive rights.

I can barely contain my rage especially after reading the comments from FLOTUS about how the presidency is taking a toll on her husband. I hope Curry gets flooded to emails tomorrow.

Police Officers, Fed Up with Rick Scott, Leave Republican Party En Masse

Next month the Broward County Police Benevolent Association is holding a “Party to Leave the Party” — an event coordinated with the Supervisor of Elections where police officers and the general public can switch their voter registrations from Republican to Democratic or Independent.

The reason for the switch? The association, which serves as the bargaining union for the county’s law enforcement officers, is unhappy with the leadership of Governor Rick Scott and the results of the past legislative session, including changes to the Florida Retirement System that will require the workers to pay more of their own wages into retirement savings.

The PBA may be a union, but it’s not traditionally a bunch of liberals. “You’d be surprised,” says Broward PBA President Patrick Hanrihan. “I think most of our police officers and stuff are Republicans.” Well, until the party-switching party, that is.

“We’ve been supporting Republican governors for the past 20 years,” Hanrihan continued.

But this one’s antics may be too much for the traditionally red-voting, gun-wielding, meat-eating, hippie-busting (OK, we’ll stop) cops to stomach.

“[Governor Scott’s] union dues deduction bill is a flat-out union-busting bill,” says Hanrihan. “Under the law, a government agency wouldn’t be allowed to collect union dues if it was involved in political campaigns.” He notes that Scott had “no problem” taking money from the police union in the past election. Scott did get significant pushback on the bill from some Republican representatives, but the House eventually passed it.

So here are the details: On Saturday, July 16, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. behind the PBA headquarters on SW 26th Terrace in Fort Lauderdale, the union will have elections officials standing by to register new voters or switch party registrations for anyone with a valid Florida ID.

Hanrihan says he’s heard remarkably little controversy among the rank and file about the event, though he got one letter saying he had been a little too sarcastic when he wrote in the newsletter, “If you continue to be a registered Republican, you should be happy with what’s going on in Tallahassee.”

Apparently, the officers didn’t want to be accused of such a thing.

Update 6/12: Here is the text from the back of the invitation:

The Broward PBA wants to send a message to the Republican Party, the governor and the Republican-led legislature– those that are wreaking havoc on the lives of public employees–that we will not sit idly by and take it. Supporting the GOP means supporting those that are working hard against your interests and those who believe that labor unions are bent on destroying America.

On July 16, we want you, our members, your friends and your family, to leave the Republican Party. Law enforcement, firefighters, teachers and other public employees are invited to join us in switching from the Republican party to the party of their choice. Those who are not registered voters are welcome to come register so their voices can also be heard. Reg- istering or switching parties takes two minutes. All you need is a government-issued ID like a Florida Driver’s License or a Florida ID.

There is one more legislative session before the 2012 elections–let’s put them on notice.

For some reason this is SOP with our corporate media’s treatment of Obama during interviews. I guess the nastier they are, the more and heartier pats on the back. Do you remember any harsh interviews of Bush? I remember nothing like what Obama faces with every interview. It feels contrived and purposeful and unnessarily accusatory. There’s never any decency or respect.

    • 62 theo67
      June 14, 2011 at 12:35 am

I loved that one question: “what is it about America that makes us so proud”. It’s not enough to screech about “American exceptionalism”, and then to be all fine about cutting education when this country is not in the top ten countries in education or college graduates, and is lagging behind formerly developing/third world countries. It’s not enough to rant about preserving old alliances that can’t help this country compete with the emerging cultures that are forming new alliances. It’s fine to rave about being the richest country in the world, and being the most developed, but then to take away the security of elderly people or cut their health care support. And it’s a fine thing to screech about “freedoms”, and spreading democracy, fighting for democracy, but then to demand that the country turn a blind eye to the massacre of millions. When your actions don’t match your rhetoric, then it just makes the country a laughing stock, and the people a bunch of hypocrites.

So, people need to ask themselves if that’s what they want, and if those are the values they want to portray to the world.

  37. 63 MTmarilyn

I love him for all he is and does and because I believe he and Michelle are guided to service by love.

It cracks me up that King still refers to Gingrich as Mr. Speaker. they’re loving them some ‘right to work’ states. NoT a surprise.. no benefits, no support systems whatsoever for right to work states. low wages.. sad sad sad if one of these artifacts become a President of this country.

I’m not watching, but I find it telling that many journalists/pundits often give HAS BEENS a title (Mr. Speaker, Govenor Palin, Mayor G or whatever), but find it hard to say ‘President Obama’. That seemed like an outpouring from the heart and soul of President Obama tonight. There was almost a sadness at times as he talked about the dings he’s taken, that we couldn’t get all we wanted or changes happening as fast as we wanted, that there still is so much that needs to get done. But his finest moments were when he talked about who we are as a people, our values, what makes this country great, and we can’t lose those. We can’t make cuts which will hurt our most vulnerable, no tax cuts for wealthy paid for by denying quality of life and opportunity for our young and old and middle class and those in need. He was asking all to question what kind of a country we want, that we all need to keep working together, that great change is still possible. It was Obama laid bare, and it was very, very moving.

I would caution Mr. Romney to think about that “3AM call” ad which was initially thought to be a “brilliant” and “devastating” ad against then Senator Obama. Then two years later, the same ad became butt of all jokes when President Obama did in fact answer that 3AM call- in a way that the ad creators never imagined…

That is just unbelievable. He’s in effect asking people to shoot the POTUS. If he isn’t yanked immediately—-he should be in a mental institution—-then there is something mighty wrong with this country.

There was a video released last week from that Al Queda leader, where he was telling the lone rangers how to get guns from these gun shows, and instructing them to go it alone and not wait for instructions. What’s the difference between what that Al Queda leader did and what Glen Beck just did? They are the same brand of evil.

Mr. Paul said SS is not solvent and is not going to be. Tough luck America suck on it.

Caine: Restructure (privatize) Soc Sec like the country of Chile did. okie doke.

Romney: Obama is not a leader.

How come Romney can’t win an election??

  61. June 13, 2011 at 9:06 pm

They are apparently willing to let the country to go into default rather than raise the debt ceiling. Also: Bachmann: Obama is a failure.

I can’t believe someone asked a question about the seperation between church and state.. they would like more God in their government . Mr. Paul seems to think he’s a Constituional expert.. nooo he’s not.

Now we’re on Muslims.. time for some religious hate.. I’m sure we’ll get to racial hate real soon. And gays and women

Michelle’s comments and just the way the MSM really puts our POTUS down every chance they get – really made me discouraged. But then I remembered how when I used to feel this way during the 2008 campaign – being a spiritual person – The Lord would whisper in my spirit that He is in control and that He has Barack Obama in His hands. When I really think about it – I know that it was only God that made the impossible possible. He put President Obama in that office and He is more than able to keep him there. So I am encouraged again – I am Fired Up and Ready to Go – I’m all the way IN for 2012 – Obama-Biden

They like themselves some DADT.. they would repeal. color me shocked. Wait for that roll back on Civil Rights laws folks. These people can’t possibly live in the same world the majority of us do. Mr. Paul apparently plans to over-rule the Supreme Court and get rid of a Women’s right to Choose. His fellow kooks are now attempting to outdo him on this stance.. Anti- ABORTION is THE CRED of the Super duper Repubber

This is a religious school/ questioners.

Bachmann has Fostered 23 children and gave birth to 5. omg.

My hear really sinks when i hear or ready horrible things being said about President Obama.

But all god’s people have to go though trials and tribulations and through those trials and tribulations are made stronger.

President Obama will prevail. i am so happy that he has a wife who is his constant companion and loves him dearly.

He is not in this fight alone.

  68. June 13, 2011 at 9:30 pm

Well the crowd here is obviously ONLY republicans and tea party folks. Heres an immigrant question from an immigrant against illegal immigration. Quite an air of superiority in her tone here. And of course in true anti people form: the whole panel ain’t crazy about illegal immigrants either.

  69. June 13, 2011 at 9:32 pm

Cain is a fool and very clearly does NOT KNOW President Obama’s stance on immigration. By the way – the majority of these guys think STATES ought to be protecting the borders. yowzer.

  70. June 13, 2011 at 9:37 pm

Ya know what I wonder?? If these ‘gentleman’ and one ‘crazy lady’ have ALL the answers- as they are informing us tonight that they indeed do.. then why aren’t one of them our current President?? They’ve all (except Caine) run for this office of President before… and FAILED even to get their own Party’s endorsement.. and yet they are assuring the American Public tonight that Obama is a failure.

Also: Ron Paul, kook wants to take ALL YOUR RIGHTS.

This question is about immenent Domain.. they lost me, I’m not sure what the hell this has to do with anything. sorry 😉

Romney wants us to get on track for energy efficiency.. DRILL BABY DRILL oh yes he does.

Hello Everyone…hope you guys had a wonderful day…while
watching the debate I was in total amazement that the GOP
field actually think we will let them take us back to the crap of
mess that got us hear…you have to wonder what they are thinking
seriously….my nerves was shot to say the least…but I realize that
I have a year and 1/2 to go and I need my nerves to be in check

I kind of worried that people are really not sticking with this Pres
tonight at fundraiser they said he only filled about 950 seats
with about 1200 hundred empty ones….remember he would fill
up an areana and them some…If we dont stick with him and
support the Pres he will lose and they will undo everything the Pres
has done just everything…..Its so hard trying to convince people to
give to his campaign really hard…wasnt like that in 2007 & 08

I feel Michelle’s pain because if nothing else the Pres heart is right
and people dont even appreciate it…smh
ok Im going to get off my soap box…Im really going to have to
be in much prayer much prayer…we just cant go back it would
    be a diaster…

LAPALM, we should not “worry” about what the MSM say is happening, but rather we should each take actions that will help to get President Obama reelected. Where did you get this information? I think most of us have learned to question the source of information when it comes to President Obama. Check out the comments on Blackwaterdog’s The Only Adult in the Room blog (see blog roll), and you’ll see that the media spin dealing with the number of seats came from Politico — an online media source that’s never ever to be trusted—always take their spin with a grain of salt. If you link to the TOAITR’s thread entitled “I see the sadness . . ,” you can read the comments from Kelly about the “empty seats” indicating that Politico’s spin is not to be trusted:
“Oh I see Politico shilling for their GOP corporate buddies. Considering there were 980 tickets sold to this fundraiser which was only supposed to be for 900 and considering there are 2 more fundraisers in Miami later on, and considering this is the BEGINNING of a 18 month campaign I think it (attendance) was very good . . .”
