What a totally cool video!! Love those people along with all the other fun people searching for a glimpse!

Anyone who has ever wanted to see PBO knows that you may wind up waiting for hours to get a glimpse. And yet people will do it for the sake of being a part of this remarkable history. He is worth every moment of standing and waiting and thirsting and sweating. YES, every step of the way!!

And that;s the truth and once you see him – you are not disappointed and you pray that you don’t faint from it !!!!! At least that’s been my experience!

I know exactly what you mean. I went to Washington and knew he was arriving back from somewhere on Marine 1. We went to the White House and waited for about two hours (in light rain) only to get pushed out further back when he was supposed to arrive. We were thrilled just to have him fly over us, and we swore we saw his legs walking away from the helicopter. I think the reason why normally sane people (at least, we think we’re normally sane) would wait for hours to see someone fly over in a helicopter is because President Obama is extraordinary. It serves as evidence that the man actually exists, and also is just an exciting to know you’re witnessing someone who will be written about with awe in the history books. There were a lot of people that day – we found several when we got there, and we were joined by more and more. I hope he sees all of us waving when he’s landing back at home after a hard day’s work. I certainly wouldn’t do that for anyone else – I can’t think of anyone who would deserve it.

That was a cool video. Just seeing the motorcade coming gives you such an adrenaline rush. Imagine being face-to-face with him.
    Thanks for sharing.

My dream is to meet our wonderful President and First Lady. I don’t know how I would act if that were to ever happen. I would hope I act like I had some sense, but I can’t say for sure.

Thanks Chipsticks. I always love these moments. One of my reasons for loving these moments is simply seeing the beautiful “people tapertry” who make this a wonderful time in history during such a tough time . People will come out to see their President and show the love. He needs to see this ,and I do believe he takes joy in seeing that there are people who love and respect him as their President, not matter what the hateful segments of the MSM say otherwise.Enjoy him. There will never be another one like Barack Obama.

This is a hoot; love it!

Compare the enthusiasm of the people here and in the other towns that PBO has visited since May, to the disgruntled PL, the sideshow carnival barkers, and the haters of every stripe. Which is the true picture of how most Americans see him? Easy answer.

See, the WH leaks stories ro politico, bc the msm uses politico exclusively:

    • June 12, 2011 at 9:09 pm

Hey Jovie, I’m not sure there’s any proof from that story that the White House leaks stuff to GOPolitico. It just quotes “one Obama adviser” saying “Hispanics could very well decide this election”, which is just a statement of fact. And quite honestly, I have so little respect for GOPolitico I have my doubts that any “Obama adviser” spoke to them, especially when they have a habit of twisting the simplest of comments in to anti-President Obama drivel.

Thanks Chipsticks! I enjoyed that video because I remember the excitement that welled up in me just looking up and seeing Marine One flying over my head and I knew POTUS was in there! It’s great to see the mix of people gathering and waiting excitedly for just a glimpse.

    • June 12, 2011 at 9:22 pm

GGail, I will confess that my knees literally went weak when Marine One flew over my house recently – I won’t say where, I don’t want leftbaggers or teabaggers arriving at my front door. 😯 But, yeah, my knees turned in to a jelly-like substance. 😆

It’s just absolutely exciting to know that PBO is in your vicinity. I’ve had those experiences and it never gets old. It can be in the form of helicopter choppers pulsing overhead, police car sirens, motorcade whirring, Secret Service sweeping, photographer shoving and advance teams staring at you for some purpose. No matter what, I stay put and appreciate the protection he has around him every single day. On every occasion, I always manage to get some kind of glimpse into the Presidency and for that I am eternally grateful.

Anyone watching the Tony awards? PBO is going to attend a broadway show called Sister Act produced ny Whoopi Goldberg on June 23rd. When you defend PBO so aggressively the way whoopi does on the View daily, you get rewarded big time.

  13. June 12, 2011 at 10:00 pm

Don’t you just love our President? I have never loved a President until PBO. He is just awesome in every way.

I felt like I was a member of the group watching this video! I was just as excited trying to see the president as they were!!

  15. June 12, 2011 at 10:03 pm

LOVED IT!!! Loved the track playing in the background, lol.

I always love these local vids of people so enthusiastic to see the President, and I’m ashamed to say how many motorcade videos I have viewed 😳 . It was great to see the “Toledo Jeep Thanks You” sign. It only makes sense for Ohio to go even darker blue in 2012.

Gotta love my fellow Americans — this is the real deal. God Bless America indeed!

Oh PJ – there are some nights I get lost in YouTube watching video after video, and I ask myself – it’s the same car over and over… what am I doing? 🙂 But, I can’t get enough. It’s always funny to see his car go past, and then five minutes later, the motorcade is still going by.

I always enjoy these videos. What enthusiasm from those people. Makes me smile. I know my President is loved by many despite the hate fom the baggers and the PL.

I’m guilty of doing this. Fall 2009 semester me and my friends followed him from the White House to the Capitol; we were totally metro hopping just to get a glimpse of him. So awesome.

I love these videos, they put the MSM memes and biases to test. I told my sister today if one simply watched the news they would be convinced of a reality that completely contradicts the truth. Our President works tirelessly, is loved and respected and loves us back.

It fills my heart with joy to see President Obama received by the people as he is, I know it fuels his efforts, without ego or conceit, his humility and grace are amazing.
I feel badly for those who can’t or refuse to see all that he is, they are living in the dark. These videos give me an opportunity to share a mutual excitement and joy expressed by so many…it connects us.

I have shaken his hand 4 times- twice as candidate, once as Pres-elect and once as President! When I shook his hand the first time, I acted like a teenager in love. I swear, I was giddy for three days, probably the whole week. When I shook his hand as president, a friend of mine actually got it on video!

And, later that same month, she got him to sign her first edition copy of the “Spiderman meets Pres. Obama” marvel comic book. He wasn’t signing anything, three secret service told her no, but she was persistent. We LOVE Reggie Love (PBO’s bodyman). So, she showed it to Reggie and asked him if PBO would sign it. Reggie showed it to PBO. He actually said “Oh, sure. I’ll sign that!” We were giddy for days on end!!!
