Good morning Chips & TOD family – today is my day to relax after a hectic week and a time to catch up on all the news regarding our beloved First Family. Have a great week-end everyone!

My archive quote for the day from Professor Laurence Tribe of Harvard U Law School:

He was all around the most amazing student that I’ve had in 37 years with thousands of students. It was inspiring, absolutely inspiring to see someone as brilliant as Barack Obama, someone who could have written his ticket on Wall Street and take all of the talent and all of the learning and decide to devote it to the community and decide to make people’s lives better.

      Good Morning All.

That’s my point Jovie thanks for the info. I wonder just how many jobs would have been created, if the Republicans didn’t refuse to spend stimulus funds, I bet we wouldn’t be talking about a 9.1% . Shame on the Media for not reporting JOB LOST due to the fact.
But now they all blaming the President…………..

Here is NEWSMAX, that terrible anti Obama website actually covering the President better than the MSM! I had no idea this happened on Thursday, and I pay close attention.

POTUS called out the media for misleading the public and failing to inform them. Keep it up Mr. President!
Lets hold all of the corporate media accountable.

Good morning, TOD family. Here’s a Think Progress article on Rick Perry and his despicable republican record. All you need to know about this awful man. No wonder the Rs want him to run so badly.

    An excerpt:

“However, as conservatives fawn over their newest presidential hopeful, it’s worth taking a closer examination at his record as governor. On issues across the board, from Perry’s support for dropping out of Social Security and Medicaid to his state’s abysmal pollution levels and his proposal that Texas secede from the United States, the Republican governor has amassed a record of far-right extremism.”

I pray that people will have patience. But we live in a society where we want things now and we mean now. But I believe if we stay with this President things will get better. I’m praying and hoping. As the President said we didn’t get into this crisis over night and we won’t get out of it overnight. And we can’t lay all the blame on this President for the lack of jobs. I believe businesses are holding back and they have their reasons, but I think they might be working with the Republicans.

    • June 11, 2011 at 10:47 am

They are definitely working with the republicans. They want a republican in the WH so they can get even bigger tax breaks and are able to ship jobs overseas without any consequences. PBO isn’t going to allow that. We need to tell all our friends and family what the repubs are doing. They would rather the country go into the abyss. But I believe it is backfiring because it hit too many people — especially those who voted republican. Talking about Wisconsin, Florida, and Indiana. In their arrogance, they pushed too soon and Americans are on to what their terrible ideology will do to this country. Plus, their candidates SUCK! They are lazy, corrupt and a bunch of liars.

Latest case in point is Huntsman whose campaign put out a fundraising letter attacking PBO. The story is on Politico which I won’t link too.And Huntsman is trying to deny that he had anything to do with the letter. But it just shows to me what a liar and how untrustworthy Huntsman is. He is the biggest snake of them all because he tries to present himself as moderate and reasonable. He is anything but. And anyone who would accept a role to serve the president and then use that to run against them is totally lacking in character and integrity. I would not trust that person to run t his country because I would always trust their motives and not believe anything they said.

Proudoobama, that is why we are going to win this for President Obama. People are not going to fall for the lies, and the hateful attitudes that are coming out. President Obama is a good man who does not speak ill of anyone, even when they are lying all over the place about him. Huntsman should be trying to run his campaign with integrity, but he too is choosing the lack of any. I really do not believe that he will be left standing in the end. You just do not continue to attack a good man with all of this evil, and not have it come back to you. We will keep our ears and eyes open, but most of all our prayers for our President to have favor and to keep focus. I believe with all of the good energy and hard work that we do will benefit him in the hard road ahead. He is smater than these evil and sad people.

should be “not trust” their motives.

    Happy weekend TOD family:

Got singular woman from the library yesterday, Yeah there was a long queue. So lot of people want to read about our President’s mother…saving it for after chores and errands otherwise they wont get done.
So grateful that the Obama family can have some normal time, NO Press, at Camp David. I wish them a wonderful weekend and that they come back refreshed.
Still wish Weiner would get off the stage. Please explain to me how this problem can be between him and his wife….when he put it out on twitter, What type of arrogant idiot believes anything on twitter is private…..What type of reckless disregard does that show. excuse the rant.

Notice, that the President only problem seems to be the economy……He beat them on everything; Foreign Policy, Health Care, DADT, TREATY, FIGHTING TERRORISM AND ON AND ON….so the only thing they have left is Unemployment, so their tactic is to delay, by refusing to use stimulus funds and put people back to work, it’s been 2 years now…..and that tactic is now taking effect, as you see it, in the unemployment rate.
I have no idea to why these states are not holding their governor responsible for lack of jobs, rather than blaming our President.

I agree Kasai. And president Obama beats the Republicans on the economy too. It’s just that the media doesn’t want the voters know that. What is unfairly dubbed as “Obama’s problem” is really the Republicans’ sabotaging efforts. In fact I would wager that if there were no Republicans and/or Conservadems on Wall Street, or congress, or elected State officials, the recovery would be far more advanced than it is now. The Republicans and their friends in the corporations are trying to sabotage the economy in order to get back into power.

Here’s what I do: ignore the MSM unless or until absolutely necessary. Right now I’m watching Richie Rich and laughing my A off. I feel like I’m learning a heck of a lot more about economics and decency re-watching this show than I ever could watching mainstream propaganda. They can eat my shorts. 🙄 🙄
