Jovie, I was just going to post about this. I heard about it from AJE and I thought the U.S. tabloid media would completely bypass it. It’s a big story. Both Al Jazeera English and the BBC report that a top Al Qaeda commander has been killed in a U.S. drone strike in Warzistan. Ilyas Kashmiri allegedly masterminded the Mehran naval-base attack, the 2009 attack on Pakistani Army HQ in ‘Pindi and the Mumbai attack. This attack may be one from the list of five that the joint US-Pakistani intelligence group agreed to go after when Secretary went to Pakistan recently. This looks like a big step toward better relations.

President Obama went to the people of Ohio yesterday, ignoring the media’s gleeful doom and gloom reports about the unemployment numbers. The people of Ohio were beyond thrilled to have him there. Once again, the President pays attention to what’s happening on the ground and just keeps doing his job and racking up success after success.
Just like he did when Chump had all the birther nonsense going. PBO was focused on taking out Bin Laden. Well done, Mr. President!
