    Dear Chipsticks and everyone here,

I want to share a very special link with all of you – http://tributefm.com/player.php

That will link you to the online live FM broadcast of music from BENGHAZI Libya!!! Every song – and they play great tunes – is chosen for the messages in the lyrics.

Can you believe how important and mind-bogglingly amazing it is that these folk are broadcasting on the web – because I assure you without the brilliant, urgent, courageous leadership of our President Obama, the people of Benghazi would not be spinning tunes. They’d be part of the wretched history of mass slaughter that our species has witnessed and frequently forgotten.

Please cross post the link to Tribute FM in as many places as you can … the whole world needs to be listening to our Benghazi brothers and sisters rejoicing.

    Yes.We.Can. … DO.More.Together!

Awww Bobfr this is nice. It sends a message that freedom and democracy may be hard to come by; but when one does obtain it, it is all the more sweeter for the hard times, sufferings and sorrow that come before.

Thanks for posting. I was listening as I was doing a few chores, enjoying the music and then this came on. I thought it was so appropriate and touching.

        Oh Walking on Sunshine,

Bless your heart for posting this lovely, lovely song. It is the perfect accompaniment for what’s happening in The Middle East and North Africa – otherwise known as The Arab Spring. I pray and hope that DEMOCRACY will come to those who have been oppressed by reppressive regimes. “It’s been a long time coming – but I know a change gonna come.” Yes, Yes, Yes it will.

Thank you WOS for that timely song. It brings back so many memories! This is also true about America – a change is happening where more and more people are believing and it is being revealed that President Obama can bring about a change. Yes. We. Can.

I agree GGail. I know it’s a civil rights song and I always stare at Sam Cooke’s face when I watch this video and try to imagine the thoughts that were in his head. He has such a gentle face.

Music is a wonderful thing. This song can apply to many different situations and people. I never thought I would be hearing it broadcast from a radio station in Libya. It’s one of my favorites and it makes me think about the change that seems to be happening all over the world right now and how Barack Obama has been such a great catalyst for change and a wonderful leader in trying to guide us all in a positive direction.

Remember this song was sung during the celebration concert on the Mall in Washington for President Elect. This is making me feel so happy because we have seen it come with our President. Thank for posting it tonight.

Phew! Thank you soooooo much Chips. Mankini Newt could not have been the last image I went to bed with. The soothing looks, gestures, smiles and characteristics the Obamas possess will help in my healing and recovery. G’night Chipsticks… and luckily for you I mean it. 😉

    • June 4, 2011 at 9:43 pm

Phew, I think – hope? – I’ve erased Newt in a mankini from your mind as you head to bed.

I had to watch each video three times then sing and dance to the first one “Hey Soul Sister” before ick was moved to the recesses of my mind. You know, Chipsticks, I have now related that song to your video and not the artist – so when I hear it on TV on the radio, I think of your video.

      • June 4, 2011 at 10:55 pm

Dear Chips, from the heart of Texas thank you so much for a great ending of a great day with these pictures. It is so great to know that Newt and all the gang in the Greed Over People Party and all of Tiffany accounts in the can buy the Love and Respect the President and his lady have. So thanks for showing True Family Values in action all the time not just for the cameras.

  5. June 4, 2011 at 9:40 pm

Remember how much good will the country had during the inauguration?
The republicans and the pl have destroyed that feeling! For me, I still have it, am inspired by his positive vibes.
When you hear people like bill maher criticize the president saying he should be more like fdr, it is a ridiculous comparison.

I have a feeling that when the president starts to campaign vigorously, that the country will choose his attitude of hope, rather than the GOP gloom and doom!

There are times Bill Maher is okay, then there are times when he is a first class jackass. Specially when he criticize my president. Like he have all the dam answers to everything. I would like to ask Maher, who should he be more like.

Well Chipsticks and fellow TOD-ers(at least the ones still awake), my new toddler ‘terror ‘ and companion are finally out for the night, I think…..I hope…Please, please God! So before I pass out from sheer fatigue myself can you tell me which 3 or 4 posts are MUST READ if I don’t want to fall completely out of the loop. I won’t be able to read all. I’m going to read the onebelow this, then return to see the suggestions you made. Thanks, all!

Also Chipsticks, I must say ‘THANKS’ that without knowing it you posted a real uplifter for me with video nubmer 2 here, showing the Obama girls. 🙂 I wasn’t feeling particularly disposed towards children when I signed on, but their wonderful interactions really, really perked me up. 😛

The photo of Michelle (in black) on Barack’s shoulder is one of my all time favorites. I think they both look so beautiful, happy, and free — and in love. The lighting is gorgeous and there’s just a lot of joy in the pic.

Much nicer to end the night on this note than on the Abominable SnowNewt — hopefully he’s somewhere dodging harpoons at this moment.

    Night-night Chips and TOD Family!

You all please forgive me for saying it so often, but I just want to tell all of you how blessed I am to be able to be a part of such a loving, caring, intelligent, and well informed group of wonderful young people. Those of us who are seniors and have seen many Presidents of USA, but not like this one will understand. I am so thrilled when I read all of your comments, your research, your tone with each other who might differ with you, your assisting those of us who are not computer savvy in many areas, but you come forth and help us. “Thank you so very much, and know that my heart is really full of gratitude and hope that you all are taking an active part in your futures because of this President. I love you, and I thank God for your goodness of heart.” I will always tell you often how much I love you all and especially Chipsticks who gives me this honor of being here and sharing. We never know when our time may be up to exit this world, so I must tell you often, that I am thankful. Okay.

Chipsticks. I am feeling pretty melancholy this evening. Even with all of the hope, these times are so difficult. The worry that the ugly people will be able to hurt the president and destroy the country. My heart aches. The videos at the top are, as I have told you on numerous occasions, melancholy and joyous. Thanks you for keeping those memories in our hearts and minds. dr

Dorothy, it is okay to feel this way at times, but remember, we care about your feelingss also. He is going to be fine. Remember when you feel a little melancholy, just think how strong he has been and what he has accomplished through all of the mess that was handed to him. The ugly people , we pray with a strongness that Godd will protect him wherever he may go. Our hearts ache at times because we see so much ugly deeds, but we will not fret, okay. These people will not have goodness that is pure come to them. I prayed for a certain tv person to be brought down because of his spewing hatred daily, and guess what(you know) he is GONE from tv. My best friend and I prayed daily for this to happen, and IT DID. So be calm and find your comfort with your family here also.

Good morning Chips, as you can see, I’m always *Johnny * come lately, however, better late than never. Thank you so much for the beautiful videos, and especially of our *Beloved * First Family :-). Lord forgive me for being so hooked on watching and observing our First Family. It’s just that they are so beautiful In every way, Inside and out. Their lights shine, so that People can Glorify our Father, which Is In Heaven. Makes me want to be a better Believer and Christian. I thank God for them 🙂 They are truly good examples for our Country and the world. May God continue to bless them, and protect them from all harm and danger.

I just wanna pray that God bless the entire *TOD* Family. I thank you Lord God for Chips, who provides us with true and factual news, videos, and chuckles. Have a great Sunday everybody, and I love each of you 🙂 Later ~~~~~~~~

Morning Luci119. It is a blessing to be alive and well. We have so much to be grateful for as believers in our President and First Family. I believe that the Lord honors our goodness in watchin what is taking place with our President because He is working for him and answering our prayers for wisdom, compassion, caring, giving peace in his speeches, and working so hard daily for all of us. We watch him because deep down in our spirits, we know that God has given us a beautiful gift in our President. I think of it as seeing God’s angels of goodness, love, compassion, grace working for those who are hurting and in need of jobs, college funds, food for the homeless, and medicine for the children to be met. Our President is God’s hands, feet, mouth, ears, arms, and eyes. I saw it in that beautiful geniune hug to that little lady who lost a family memeber in Joplin. Those were the arms of a loving maker in POTUS’s hands. So we can watch, blog with our loving and respectful family here and at BWD and give God the praise. We do not all believe the same way, but we respect each other’s beliefs and we do not tolerate anyone putting down anyone for their beliefs. We know when to step in and gentle but firmly say, “Enough, we do not allow that here.” Chipsticks keep this beautiful home rid of those attitudes. So watch what you need to watch, stay tune, get the facts(from his mouth, when possible), pray for what you see is needed, and then watch with much expectations and rejoice. Now you thank God for what blessings you are receiving and those that you are causing. We are going to make it with his love, his grace, and our faith.
