Gallup

*** The last time the President’s disapproval rating was as low as 39% with Gallup was …..  November 15, 2009 ***

Even GOP Rasmussen have the President at 49 😉

Meanwhile, here’s the latest from Pew:

Also from the Pew poll – “Independents’ assessments of Obama’s performance spiked from 42% to 52% approval on news of Osama’s death, and remain at 49% in the current survey. The current survey also finds that just 37% of independents disapprove of Obama’s job performance, the lowest since the fall of 2009.”

it must hurt the folks at Gallup to see that number 😆

  3. June 2, 2011 at 2:24 pm

b-b-but-but the mainstream media told me Obama’s bounce would fade? It’s been 30 days now and I even sent an email to Ben Smith who loves to crow when Obama’s polls fall.

    • June 2, 2011 at 2:30 pm

Ha, you can be sure aamon that this won’t get much MSM attention – good news is no news!

      • June 2, 2011 at 2:39 pm

And this comes right after last week’s Fox Poll of 55% and this week CNN has him at 54%. Even RAZ has been stuck at 49-51% for the past 2 weeks.
I sense, once people got to really see what the opposition had to offer, his numbers went up. But the funniest thing is the media is still treating Romney as the “so what” candidate and Palin as the frontrunner. LOL!

It must burn the msm and repugs that no matter how they try to put PBO down, denigrate him or peddle the false meme that he’s incompetent, the numbers speak for themselves.

There is a post up at PoliticusUSA that talks about the dirty tricks being played by the Republicans on Congressman Anthony Weiner and the American people in general. I really don’t know what to believe about the Anthony Weiner story, but the paragraphs below provide a powerful description of what we are up against. The Republican Party is deranged and unhinged. Sadly, the traditional media continues to report on them as if they are a credible opposition party.

    ———————————————————————–

THE RIGHT WING DIRTY TRICK BEHIND ANTHONY WEINER’S TWITTER PIC:

The American people are starting to realize that Republicans have nothing but contempt for this country and its citizens, and will stop at nothing to further their corporatist agenda. When voters are presented with all the facts, they will choose the party that protects their interests, and polls reveal that voters are disillusioned with Republican policies. In states like Florida, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, voters are outraged at Republican governors and their approval ratings prove that voters have buyer’s remorse.

There are many voters who are horrified at the America Republicans envision and more likely than not, as they lose support, the dirty tricks and lies will escalate to discredit Democrats. Republicans have shown that their only concern is for corporations and that they will take everything from the people until there is nothing left. They will spare no expense or dirty tricks to advance their agenda and if they have to destroy the country, so be it.

There is a war, and it is time for the American people to demand that Republicans stop their dirty tricks, unethical tactics, and destruction of this country. The American people are sick and tired of the corporate money, hateful rhetoric, and dirty tricks Republicans use to push their agenda, but unfortunately it is all the Republicans know, and they will continue until the people vote them out of power. It is too sad that in the meantime, every American will suffer the hate and dirty tricks of Republicans.

The media is called the fourth estate so that whoever is in charge will not screw the people. They always take the minorities side.

Joe Miller Launches ‘Stop Romney’ Campaign

A Tea Party group in Nevada led by a failed Senate candidate from Alaska announced Thursday that it is launching an effort to oppose Mitt Romney’s bid for the GOP presidential nomination.

Two more percentage points and he will be at the point where he won in 2008. It’s a good starting point and suggests a lot of voters are coming home. But we have a lot of work to do folks.

      June 2, 2011 at 3:07 pm

Actually he won with 53% of the vote on Nov. 4, 2008. McCain got 46%. One percent went to the third party candidates. So PBO has regained his election day 2008 coalition and stands to consolidate it further.

Great poll numbers today, but have you noticed how erratic that Gallup is now? They plunge and then lurch upwards. He was at 46% on Monday, jumped up a couple pts. each day after. Not complaining, just trying to understand and wondering if the public will be this erratic thru the election? I pray not or I may have to have a heart stabilizer of some sort installed! 🙂 Pick the only right man for the job and stick with him!

Oh lord don’t let me get started on elizabteth hasselbeck. She spouts nonsense every freakin day. Her children absolutely ADORE PBO and MO and it eats her inside out. It’s crazy that her family is liberal to the bone and she is nuts in her conservative beliefs. She spouts one level of nonsense on ABC and on fox news she becomes totally unhinged. With her, everything is PBO’s fault. H1N1, rain, sunshine, her having ciliac disease (so she has to eat gluten free products),chocolate cake and the fact that she’s a talentless HACK!

and like you said don’t get me started too on her.I sat there with my face like that 😮 when she said she’d like to spend the night at the WH last year to hang out with Malia and Sasha and the President and First Lady;yet a minute later she was going off on him 🙄

Warm & friendly 73%; is excellent since most folks vote for the person they like, if they feel like the two people are equally effective. I don’t see TPaw or Rombot as “warm & friendly” or as “good communicators.” That gives me Hope! I don’t want to lose him now.

Pure Comedy….when Rep Ryan (R-Whineville) told the President to stop demagoguing the Medicare issue:

Obama said he was no stranger to cartoonish depictions, reeling off a list of conservatives’ favorite attack points: “I’m the death-panel-supporting, socialist, may-not-have-been-born-here president,” Obama said, according to people familiar with his remarks.

These people are pathetic- they have called this president (and his family) every name under the moon, and now they can’t handle people telling the TRUTH about their bills. Can you hear that Rep Ryan….I’m playing the Worlds’ smallest violin.
