beyond belief…..

ThinkProgress: The Washington Post’s blogger Jennifer Rubin reports that the neoconservative Emergency Committee for Israel has a new ad accusing President Obama of “siding with the Palestinians” in his May 19 speech….

….Yet here’s what ECI’s own executive director Noah Pollak tweeted about the speech as it was happening:

So, first Pollak thought the line about the ’67 borders was no big deal ….. but then, when there was an opportunity to attack President Obama, the line about the ’67 borders magically became a dangerous betrayal of Israel. You really couldn’t ask for a better demonstration of bad faith.

One shouldn’t, of course, expect Jennifer Rubin herself to report any of this. In addition to being Pollak’s former colleague at Commentary, back in February Rubin took a trip to Israel, courtesy of the Emergency Committee for Israel.

Rubin’s email address is rubinj@washpost.com – in case you’d like to question her about her less than honest reporting.

One smear after another. The problem is CNN is now getting results. There ratings are up 60 percent. So, they will keep on smearing.
As far as the wa post, it was at one time a liberal newspaper, now, not so much!

These groups need to decide if they want peace and to be on the side that’s actually doing something about it, or if they want to be used by the right wing evangelists to bring about their version of Armageddon. These right wingers just want to destroy Israel next year, as a way of starting the Rapture – and they could care less how may Jewish people die in the meantime.

IDIOTS! The whole lot of them. From the dumb statements by Pollak to the shoddy “journalism” by Rubin. When media folk and politicians can be enticed and bought by gifts and baubles, they should respectfully resign and spare the public their pile of crap. As for Pollak; in this digital and technological age of 4G cellphones, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Blogs and Bloggers and Data Tracking…. your tweets don’t just magically disappear. Have the courage and fortitude to stand by your original convictions.

Hey chip, I hope bwd is ok. If you have her email, find out if she is just distressed or if she is taking a break? At any rate, I was concerned.

I emailed her earlier today Jovie, I’m hoping she just needed a break or was busy with work, she puts her heart and soul into her magnificent site, it must be exhausting.

Hopefully she’s just biding her time until the unemployment news comes out tomorrow and hopefully 24 hrs after that she’ll be okay. I think she’s probably bogged down in anticipation of the “negative” figures tomorrow and didn’t feel like posting or participation in discussions today.

Just emailed Ms. Rubin. I’m not letting any so called journalist think they can get away with all this deceit any more. It’s slimy. I suggest others do the same.

Excellent Dotser, I just added her email address to the post – maybe if a whole bunch of people told her they were aware of her deceit, she’d be a little shy about being such a fraud next time. Or maybe not?

Ok I’m been lurking this week. Anyway, I heard on the BBC world service this morning that a ex senior MOSSAD guy was backing the Prez and saying that the 1967 borders should indeed be a starting point for discussion. Apparently, it was said that Nettie was vexed and that he will come out ‘swinging’ and say this guy was a crap MOSSAD ‘director’ etc etc. The guy’s surname was Duggan. They also mentioned that this guy was highly thought of and he might set up an opposition group but he can’t stand for any office in the next three years (some law about MOSSAD employees).
Was really pleased that someone in Israel was ‘standing up’ to Nettie. Hope the guy sets up an opposition party.
