Great Ad! Romney puts me in mind of McCain- just say what you can get away with for now and the heck with reality.. these guys never really have to pay penance for their lying- they just move on to the next line of bs and the media allows it.

When this IDIOT officially puts his name in the Presidental hat on thursday, Dems have to find a way to get this ad on every station in every state. This ad is perfect. Short (for the American viewer with the attention span of a gnat) and gets to the point.

I’m torn. If the GOP gravitates towards someone who is seen as a “moderate” or, more accurately, a bit less “radical”, maybe Romney should be the one. I think he will be easier to beat than Huntsman or any other new face. So I’m not sure I want Romney to be weaken this soon in the primary campaign. I would keep the attacks for the general.

I can’t bring myself to believe Romney would seduce the independants, and the republicans who voted Obama in 2008. He looks like a tired B-actor who didn’t make it in Hollywood and is still trying. He’s been around forever and has flip-flopped on everything.

I like “tired B-actor” for Romney. That is exactly what he looks like and talks like, although even grade B actors are better at handling scripts.

If you hear about Romney’s book “No Apologies,” 2 controversies surrounding:
    1. The book debuted as #1 on the bestseller list because of bulk sales. If you wanted Romney to speak at your affair, you had to buy thousands of books instead of paying a fee, or in addition. This practice is standard. Even Palin took a swipe at Romney for this.
    2. More importantly, there was a “MAGIC” transformation between the hardback and paperback editions. In the hardback, he thought the 2009 stimulus package was great and how his health care plan was better than Obama, with which he had no major problem. And then suddenly, when the paperback came out, the stimulus was a disaster and his health care plan was not like Obamacare and it was mismanged by Democrats. It also had suddenly become against the Constitution.
Romney is an expert at flip-flopping and has practiced it year in and year out.
BTW, I’ve been out for a long while and thank you Chipsticks for forwarding the dailies. Mimi
