Goodnight to you, Chips!! Thank you for capturing so beautifully another grand day of distinction for our President and First Lady. It’s hard to fathom what the President felt today after he spoke to Parliament. The look in his eyes is unforgettable.

    President’s Thursday Schedule
    All times Eastern

    4:20 AM depart London
    5:10 AM arrive Deauville, France
5:45 AM meet with Russian President Medvedev
6:55 AM welcome by French President Sarkozy
    7:00 AM G8 leaders lunch
    8:45 AM G8 working session
    10:30 AM G8 working session
11:45 AM meet Japanese Prime Minister Kan

    Have a nice rest Chipsticks!

In other “news,” Ed Schultz was suspended for calling Laura Ingraham a right wing media slut. I heard he apologized on his show last night, but that he even made the remarks in the first damn place is unacceptable.

I’m no Laura Ingraham fan by any stretch, and she is indeed hateful, but that is no excuse to get in the gutter and into the mud with her or the rest of the right wing. Imagine if our President called the women in the Republican Party right wing sluts, it would be the virtual end of his Presidency.

What’s even more disgusting than Ed calling Ms. Ingraham a media slut is the fact that people are defending him for supposedly speaking “the truth.” No it is not truth, it’s opinion. It’s no more truth than our President supposedly being a Muslim Kenyan Marxist totalitarian communist dictator and is up there with all the disgusting garbage that Rush Limbaugh and other men on the right have said about FLOTUS, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic women.

It’s like the saying goes: Don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything AT ALL. Hopefully Ed ends up following Keith and getting the boot off of MSNBC, his ranting and raving have become too over the top.

Of course the UNprofessional left will cry tears when he gets the boot (it will happen and Ed seems to know it, hence why he’s saying these sorts of things on air), but they are too thin skinned in the first place. Ed’s heart might be in the right place, but he ends up working against his own cause by being loud and boisterous and stabbing our President in the back at every given opportunity.

I’m glad our President is being successful in spite of people like Ed. Ed seems just like Bill Clinton: bitter that he has become irrelevant in politics. Heck, wasn’t Ed initially a Hillary supporter in 2008, and ranted and raved about how inexperienced Barack was? Ed sounds just like a bitter Clintonite, bitter that his brand is slowly fading away and that we are in the age of Obama Democrats: Democrats who get things done the classy and practical way.
