’til next time

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama board Air Force One at the airport in Dublin en route to London. Obama was forced to leave Ireland a day ahead of schedule to fly to London as a cloud of ash from an Icelandic volcano drifted towards Britain

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama step off Air Force One as they arrive at London’s Stansted Airport

Thanks TeamObama

Totally agree Tulips. He was having a great time and he looked back longingly. If he ever gets the chance to come back, the President will definitely make it back to Ireland.

Chipsticks, as usual, your coverage of the President was simply amazing. For those who didn’t get to watch it live, your coverage is certainly the next best thing.

That last look back. I just know that personally this has been a wonderful day for the President. It has for all of us. I can’t wait to see more pictures, hear more stories from the people who saw him. There will be lots of stories.

No wind and rain, thank God. But other than that the trip to Ireland was wonderful. Now it’s on to London and the First Couple look great coming off that plane. May God Bless them and keep them safe. And I don’t think Michelle will hug the Queen this time, so everyone won’t try to make such a big deal out of it.
