Lovely! I love it, especially the ending, such a hot guy.
ps-did I see Arnold or is my mind playing tricks on me?

    • May 21, 2011 at 8:50 pm

😆 You did see Arnold! He was in Ireland for the 2003 Special Olympics … although I’m guessing he won’t be at many Kennedy-supported events like this in the future 😉

I hope your mind is playing tricks on you, not unless Arnold have run to Ireland to get away. Or maybe you just have Arnold on your mind, you think???? Anyway do anyone know the time of the President’s speech tomorrow.

So the Rapture means Michael Flatley and Bono are meeting the President? I did have a rapturously good pastrami sandwhich at the local deli earlier..

    Confused in CT

PS: Chip and Co – was on vacay ;ast week. Couldn’t log on, but could lurk. Thanks for a great week on this blog, as per usual!

Good night Chipsticks, it’s 6:02pm here in Los Angeles and the sun is still shining brightly with a gentle breeze off the Pacific Ocean. Looking forward to more “love” from the TOD family tomorrow.

What a beautiful country! May the President have such beautiful weather to enjoy it all. I feel excited about this trip, eager to hear what President Obama has to say and ready for the videos and pictures.

“May your days be many and your troubles be few. May all God’s blessings descend upon you. May peace be within you may your heart be strong. May you find what you’re seeking wherever you roam.” ~ Irish Blessing

Goodnight, Chipsticks. Goodnight sherijr, CT, and Lisa. Goodnight John Boy. 🙂

Ms Chips, thank you for a ‘satisfying’ Saturday, and a good night to you and the Gang! It’s probably a very good idea for me to go to bed early tonight and tomorrow so that I can be well-rested for my Ireland-England tour as I don’t want to miss anything. Good night, sleep tight, and rest well, everyone!

    Beautiful video, beautiful country!

Back from VA Beach. I saw some military helicopters, but no Navy Seals this time :-(. But it was a gorgeous day nonetheless.

    Good night, everyone.

Goodnight and pleasant dreams to everyone. Just saw a comment on The Irish Central about an Irish American who sold all his goods waiting for the Rapture which I’m sure you all knew about. What is funny is a post stating:

I don’t mind what happens either way; as he has signed over all his worldly goods to me from six o’clock!

    Goodnight, all!

And OMG, Mitch Daniels just dropped out of the race. And the right-wing is melting down, saying the President just lost a serious contender. LOLz. These people are totally LOST.

    Obama Biden 2012!!!!

OMG is right! This is excellent news. They’re dropping like flies! Huntsman is really the only contendor who can appeal to the independents. Pawlenty has flip-flopped and exhibited racism and right wing fever. Mittens is done. The research on Huntsman has to begin now.

It’s just such an odd process of elimination. Mittens is probably emboldened, whatever that means for the general because people really dislike him. Nobody appears to want to be the sacrificial lamb. Except maybe Herman Cain, the Godfather’s pizza guy. You know, donate to this campaign and get 2 extra toppings for free. They are all DUMB.

      • May 22, 2011 at 3:23 am

Huntsman has already flip flopped all over the place. Very disappointing if you a Republican but great for us.

      Another one bites the dust.

    GOOD NEWS FOR MONEYGALL….

‘…On arrival, Mr Obama and his wife, Michelle, will travel to Áras an Uachtaráin to meet President Mary McAleese and afterwards he will meet Taoiseach Enda Kenny at Farmleigh.

Mr Obama is then expected to fly by helicopter to his ancestral home in Moneygall in Co Offaly.

If the weather does not allow for helicopter travel, there are alternative plans to transport Mr Obama to Moneygall, the Department of Foreign Affairs has said. Met Éireann has forecast that tomorrow will be extremely windy or stormy, especially in Connacht and Ulster…’

    • May 22, 2011 at 6:23 am

I agree (hardly surprising, as I run the same weather model at home as Met Eireann uses …)

      http://moene.org/~hirlam

Moneygall will have rain (“Neerslag”) in the early morning (before 8 o’clock local time). Winds (“Windsnelheid en windstoten”) will increase until midday tomorrow and then slowly decline – but gusts will be up to 23 meters per second, which is 46 knots.

During the late morning skies will clear (“Bewolking” – clouds), the afternoon will be dry and sunny (albeit with a temperature of 12 degrees Centigrade, which is 54 Fahrenheit).

      Hope this helps,
      Toon.

I just pray the weather is safe for him to go there.

Chipsticks, we will continue to pray for the best of weather. I am not feeling well this morning, but I am taking the proper meds, and much prayer, music, and ofcourse, my candles are lit. We will pray hard for some great weather for the President’s Moneygall visit. The people have worked so hard to celebrate his visit, so I just feel that the beautiful spirits of the angels will be with them and our President. Let us all say our prayers, meditate on some good thoughts and send them out in the universe for our loving, capable, compassionate, and intelligent President. I believe that we can make a difference. Shower now, meds, great music, much prayers and good meditative readings of the goodness in mankind, and our calmness will get us through a wonderful visit in my mind. Let each of us do what we are comfortable in doing to make this a community effort for our President and First Lady. We will put into our space nothing but the positive and the goodness of our hearts and minds. I love you all for being so loving, respectful and caring. I am so blessed to be here with you all. Thank you so much.
