I miss that insurgent, Virginia spirit. I know it was a once in a lifetime thing because POTUS wasn’t POTUS yet. This time will feel more “presidential,” but we’re still FIRED UP!

Hi everyone, just checking in for a quick read through. Not sure how long I’ll be able to be on. Sweet dreams to those who have already retired for the night! Can’t wait for my computer friend to carve some time from his busy life to check out my computer tantrums.

Good night, sleep tight and rest well!

Good night, HZ. Tomorrow is an important speech – I’ll be trying to sneak a peek during the work day. I hope the President is getting a good night’s sleep, too. I’m sure the prayers will help!

Thank you, Chipsticks for all the memories. I had a wonderful day today at the Cyclorama in Boston. It was a really well organized event. I worked at the registration tables – it was an upbeat crowd in spite of the dreary weather. After the doors were closed, the volunteers all went into the hall to be part of the event. Our wonderful Governor, Deval Patrick, introduced the President. The President’s speech was very well received – everyone cheered and there were no sour notes. At times the applause was so loud that I had trouble hearing the words. I saw a lot of people nodding their approval and smiles all around. Of course, this is Boston and our “true blue” status seems to have reasserted itself after the shock of Scott Brown. But I also see a shift towards more balanced reporting and finally some recognition of the tremendous achievements of the last 2-1/2 years. So I’m hopeful and more ready than ever to jump right in and work for the re-election of Barack Obama – the best President of my 68 years. Have a good night, everyone. Tomorrow will be another significant day with a major speech on the Middle East.

I’m up late and I watched all the videos. Hgerhard can you please tell me and the family that Scott brown nose Brown has some competition for his Senate seat. Are there any political ads running that talk about his Senate votes?

      Please tell…..

Michele, I don’t know if you go back to the old posts to look for an answer to your question – but just in case you do, I can assure you that Scott Brown knows full well that his political future is in jeopardy. He is struggling with a decision on whether to stand out as a moderate Republican or move completely in the direction of the Teapublicans. We have seen how other Republicans have decided – Romney by twisting himself into a pretzel, Gingrich by flopping back and forth and now Huntsman by revising history. These approaches will not work in the long run, and I believe Scott Brown knows that. But then again, he completely relies on the Republican money supply for his campaign. So it will be interesting to see how he decides. If he follows the trend – and especially if he joins the chorus on the Republican budget proposal – he will be defeated next year. A lot will happen with the Democratic candidates in the next few weeks. Our State convention will take place on June 4th and after that a clearer picture will emerge on who might be the best candidate to take on Scott Brown. Stay tuned.

I had never seen that video clip form Virginia where he tells the entire “Fired-Up/Ready-to-Go story before. Such a great story! It goes to show us all to be open, to be ready and to leave room for goodness and miracles to happen. Someone else could have felt like that campaign stop with only about 20 people in the room was a waste of time, but not Barack Obama. I’m so thankful he met the “Fired-Up” cheer leader there on that day!

The Four days in Denver footage was SO Interesting! What a complete joy Michelle Obama is.

It was so great to see the Ken Burns DNC video again since it was first shown a few years ago.

And man, the President was fired up last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
