    *deep breath*

    *points and laughs at Leroy*

Damn, he told him off while shaking his hand. Cold blooded!

For Fux “News” to show this must mean they’re ready to kick Leroy to the curb. Couldn’t have happened to a slimier guy. Bwah!

Ha ha … ha ha.. (Nelson from The Simpsons)…. I saw this on Bashir and he and Lawrence O’Donnell had fun with this. Wooohoo Hardball is on now and Chris is about to take on and talk about crazy Newt. Should be fun. Plus Bill Maher is the special guest on Hardball tonight. 😀

    This is crazy.

I can’t stand Newt but he was right about Ryan’s plan being right wing social engineering.

I liked how that fella held onto his hand and wouldn’t let Newt escape until he was done telling him off.

Anyone who is supporting Ryan though is a little batshytcrazy to begin with.

Newt is no more an embarassment to the GOP than Ryan is.

The truth is the GOP is an embarassment as a political party, period.

You are right!!! For the first time Newt told the truth!!! Ryan and his Cato Institute masters are determined to install a republican candidate that will tow their budget line!!!

I’m rethinking Fox hiring potential 2012 candidates – I think they hired them to bribe them out of running. Huckabee, Palin, Santorum and Gingrich are all culture warriors. I think Fox might have tried to entice them with the easy life, money and a soapbox to keep them from running rather than giving them a boost to run. Fox wanted to clear the deck of the true culture warriors so they can try and sneak a fake one through with a more appealing (to Fox) economic message and a better chance of winning.

I think Fox realized that these types could catch fire in a primary, and in the very least draw other candidates far right on social issues that would then hurt the eventual winner come the general – so wanted to buy them to stay out.

Forgive me for this, but the first thing I thought of as Newt came in followed by Callista with her platinum helmet was “Poor little Callista …”

Misplaced pity perhaps, but she looks so unknowing. Could she possibly believe he’ll make it through the primaries? Could she have been put under some kind of spell? What possesses young women like Callista to follow someone like Gingrich around like a soulful pup until she becomes wife number three? Doesn’t she see that she could easily be replaced down the road?

    Fantasies of the young.

Maybe the revelation today that the Gingrichs have/had a $500,000 debt to Tiffanys—-maybe that was the hook. Lots of bling for platinum helmet hair, thus she followed him anywhere and everywhere. True love.

All Callista wants is to be first lady and if that means being dragged around by a dog leash, so be it!!!

Even Donald Trump’s little eastern european 3rd wife immediately began to nurse her very own first lady dreams too LOL!!!

You can tell he was holding on tight by the way Newt/Leroy looked like he had to peel his hand away. I have no sympathy for Newt/Leroy.

Things are just not going well at all for the Newster. It’s funny that when these isolated pols get out into the real world with real people, they seem shocked at what they’re hearing. Sorry Newt, they’re just not that into ya..

That is so funny!!!!!! I am laughing at that and all the comments here. I love it. They are all a bunch of fools. I can’t wait for the debates. Obama will tear the Repub Candidate, whoever he is, apart. Let the games begin.

I’m no fan of Newt, can’t stand the guy. But he was telling the truth about Paul Ryan’s plan to destroy Medicare.

What’s beautiful is that even when the Repubs are trying to be reasonable by pushing back on the tea party agenda, they are skewered alive. This is what Romney and Hunstman and Pawlenty have to look forward to. The only candidates who can win a general are the ones who have to screw themselves over to win the tea party support. Romey and Hunstman will have a hard time overcoming their mormonism – since religion seems to be tied to presidential potential now – and Pawlenty will have to join the flip flop brigade, because every Republican policy has been proven to fail. It’s popcorn time!

This clip even made it on to BriWi’s news….a surprise, for sure. This has not been a good 24 hours for two egomaniacal Republicans…the Arnold, and the Newt.
From what I’ve read, Callista went into this situation with her eyes wide open. She wanted to be in the circles of power, she worked in Newt’s office, and saw him as an avenue to power. I don’t think she is going to get her heart’s desire. He is always going to be “the former”

Oh I just read anniebella’s comment above that it had to do with Ryan’s plan to destroy medicare.

      May 17, 2011 at 7:30 pm

Newt criticized the The Ryan budget plan to kill Medicare yesterday, and said it was “radical”, just like the Democratic policies. Paul Ryan then said “with allies like Newt, who needs the Left”. Limbaugh went ballistic over Newt’s statements, and Limbaugh’s army is now irate. Newt tried to walk it back, which I think drove the Limbaugh army even crazier.

What ever happened to Lou Dobbs? He said a few months ago that he was considering running for President or the Senate. Then he dropped off the radar. Is he waiting in the wings for all the carnage to clear his way?

Ingenious ambush from that guy. For some reason when I saw the clip I thought about ‘exploding watermelons in China’. His campaign is beginning to implode before it is even off the mark. Fall out with party members, spendthrift story – whatever next?
