59%!!!! OMG, are you kidding? Wow!! And this from Politico, yet? Hello! Our President is a decent, sincere, honest, compassionate, brilliant man. Maybe some folks are starting to come out of their slumber-stupor, who knows.

56% say it will be ‘disastrous’ to the U.S. economy if Congress does NOT vote to increase the debt limit compared to 32% who says it will not have a serious impact.

Huh ? Just a week ago it was the other way around (60 % wanted the debt ceiling not increased).

Somebody explained the economic consequences of that real good ?

This specific polling is great because it means that PBO will have the wind at his back when he confronts those nasty repugs about the debt ceiling.
Ps- heard that the GRINCH called Paul Ryans plan and I quote ‘radical’ and about health insurance, he talked about the need for an individual mandate, but he didn’t call it that, he said something to the effect of:”we all need to contribute to health care.” OMG!!!! The GRINCH is a socialist!!!! Ha! Poor Paul Ryan, even the nastiest man in politics thinks he’s crazy. Bye-bye, Paul, bye-bye 🙂

WHAT WONDERFUL NEWS TODAY! I CAN’T WAIT TO WITNESS THESE EVENTS. AS FOR ‘BOOKER T.!’ THEY STOLE MY HEART AWAY AT VOTING TIME. THE AMAZING PEOPLE IN MEMPHIS WILL BE OVERJOYED WHEN THE PRESIDENT ARRIVES. HOW DARE WE COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING AND WHINE WHEN WE SEE THIS SUFFERING. WHAT PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE IS THE FACT THAT THIS KIND OF SUFFERING GOES ON ALL THE TIME IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES. THEY ARE EVERYDAY EVENTS THERE… FROM DRAUGHT TO FLOODING,TO STARVATION. GOD HOLDS THEM CLOSELY TO HIS HEART AND WE MUST OPEN OURS TO THE SUFFERING IN THIS WORLD. JUST IMAGINE…BEING ‘MEMPHIS’ EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE AND THOSE LIVES ARE OFTEN EXTREMELY SHORTENED BY TRIALS. MAY GOD DEEPLE BLESS PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA…AMERICA’S SYMBOL OF COMPASSION…SORELY NEEDED!

I AM EXCITED FOR ‘THE RAHM’ AND THE FACT THAT OUR AMAZING ‘V.P. COUPLE’ WILL BE THERE. V.P. JOE WAS ALSO TRULY BLESSED WITH JILL AFTER ALL THE TRAGEDY IN HIS LIFE. HE IS A BLESSING BECAUSE HE REMAINS STRONG…DOES NOT DWELL ON HIS PAST SORROWS AND MOVES FORWARD…WITH ‘GUSTO’ I MIGHT ADD!

Good morning, everyone. The GOP liars cannot fool the American people. They see with their own eyes what this great President is doing for the country. I clicked through Morning Joke and of course saw no mention of this poll. Usually, they blast anything Politico has to say for the whole show.

    Loved these findings:

“Fifty-two percent of those surveyed approve of Obama’s handling of his job, up 7 percentage points from the most recent Battleground Poll, conducted in October. Additionally, 72 percent approve of Obama personally, up 7 percentage points since October.”

And this finding regarding the GOP “saviors.”

“The president stacks up well against the two GOP contenders polled in a match-up with him — former Govs. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota. Asked whom they would vote for if the election was held today, 51 percent would “definitely” or “probably” choose the president, while 38 percent chose Romney. Against Pawlenty, Obama lead 50 percent to 36 percent.

Let’s tweet, Facebook, email this good news out everywhere.

And let’s keep pushing the good news about how President Obama has/is turning around the economy. The republican-controlled media is pushing the meme that the economy isn’t recovering and burying the good news so as to paint this false picture for the American people. We must work hard to set the record straight. No way that President Obama who rescued this economy from the brink, saved the auto industry, created almost two million jobs should not poll well on the economy.

Morning Proud, isn’t it funny how good-news polls always get ignored?

I see from a comment up thread that Mike Allen of Politico was on Morning Joke. I missed that segment and will be looking for the clip. But, yeah, they’re going to do their best to ignore this great news.

I also wonder if his stand-up at the WHCD really registered with people who witnessed his colossal sense of humor. The way he took down Trump, who is massively detested, was a screamer and you couldn’t help but appreciate the laugh. And maybe people are appreciating his long stream of incredible successes on full display as they witness his courage (bin Laden), his compassion (Tucson, Alabama), his desire to work with all of Congress (budgets) and his toughness (Libya).

I think it helped. Just look at how many people viewed it even before the bin laden news.

Truly awesome –59% — but that is not good enough. He should be at 90% by now. In church yesterday, my paster was talking about leadership, whether it be an elected official or a shepherd caring for his flock. He used several incidents in the news lately about people thinking of themselves and not caring out their leadership role. Here in Arizona, we had a legislator who got into a fight with his girlfriend on the freeway and claimed immunity because he was an elected official while they carted his girlfriend off to jail. He ended up resigning his leadership role in the Arizona House of Representatives. Another example was the Fiesta Bowl fiasco. One of the “leaders” in our House of Representatives was found to be “on the take,” and he is the one who brought SB1070 to Arizonans. Pastor also talked about the sanctity of marriage and those in leadership roles that have had affairs and multiple marriages. The pastor did not mention any names, but just referenced the news in recent years. As my brother and I were heading home after church, I said to him that it was interesting that all the references of these failings by the pastor was done by Republicans, who hold themselves up as the family values party. My brother said that the only politician he can think of that is squeaky clean is our President. My brother loves our President, but is very negative on politics in general. I suspect that my pastor is Republican, but I think he even sees them for what they are. I was so proud of our President.

Good Morning Everbody 🙂 Listen, I too voted for Booker T Washington to have the honor of having Our *Beloved* President be their Commencement Speaker. I’m so very pleased and proud of Booker T Wasington High. I’m praying that everything will be safe and smooth, while our Prez. Is there. I know that the Commencement will be enjoyed by all. I’m so happy that our President Is moving on up In the Polls, finally. Congratulations President Obama 🙂 Probably will be moving up and down by 2012, but nevertheless, It feels good for the now 🙂 I’m anxiously waiting to see and hear our President Speak later on.

We must remain alert, cautious and NEVER let our guard down, get complacent or let up in our fight to re-elect PBO!
As uplifting as this poll result might be, it still isn’t good enough and until PBO is certified winner on November 7, 2012, we take NOTHING for granted and leave NOTHING to chance!
May God continue to bless, protect, guide, guard and defend our spectacular President!
