‘why newt must run’

August, 2010 – Arianna bumps in to Newt & Callista Gingrich and Barbara Walters in Amalfi

This is a comically great find by Politicususa (see here) …. hey, 16 years later she’s got her wish!

Why Newt Must Run

by Arianna Huffington (Nov 27, 1995 in The Weekly Standard)

…Running for president would undoubtedly be the biggest gamble of Gingrich’s political career. And there is absolutely no self-interested reason for him to do it. He has said that he would run only if there were a clear moral imperative for him to do so….

….Precisely because Gingrich is right about the moral crisis the country is facing …. there is a moral imperative for him to fill the leadership vacuum and address the growing devastation.

…the Gingrich of November 1996 could be a far different, far more inspiring public figure. Gingrich may be a lightning rod, but he also embodies the revolution like no one else. He is its most articulate, self-confident, and unapologetic voice, and he burns with conviction that America can and will be a better place because of it …. he can rediscover the youthful realization that drove him to dedicate his life to politics in the first place: that at certain critical moments in history, effective leadership is all that stands between a civilization and its collapse.

There are times in life when risking everything is more prudent than protecting what you have. For Gingrich, this could be one of them. And if Gingrich fails to accept the mission, the mission does not go away. The hole in the heart of the Republican revolution remains, waiting for a leader to fill it.

Because somebody who speaks like that in their 50’s becomes a progressive champion a mere decade later.

Only in MSM and Nutroot America.

They’re only progressive because it makes them rich.

I wish the President and First Lady hadn’t took a picture with that Huffington witch. I don’t trust her or Barbara Walters.

When they were at the WHCD, I wish the President and First Lady hadn’t took a picture with that Huffington witch. I don’t trust her or Barbara Walters.

I don’t think they had a choice. People lined up to take pics with them, and Weaselianna lined up to get hers too.

She weaseled her way into getting a picture with the Presidenet and First Lady just so she can try to neutralize any talk about the more planned and more telling pictures with her and her very dubious friends such as Issa and Newt above!!!

She thinks she’s slick but we are ten steps ahead of ya Arianna!!!

Totally off topic, but I just saw Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Andrea Mitchell (Nora O’Donnell is hosting today) and her takedown of Mitt Romney was fantastic!!!!!. Romney is giving a ‘big speech’ today about how he is going to repeal POTUS’s healthcare reform bill. And Debbie who was also on GMA this morning, said she would love to watch the speech to see how Mitt was going to twist himself into a pretzel explaining his passage of universal healthcare and his enforcement of the individual mandate. On GMA George Stephanopoulous quoted some poll showing Mitt was ahead of POTUS in two states or so and said that POTUS and dems were afraid of mitt. Boy did Debbie set him straight. She told him that POTUS does not fear Mitt, that POTUS has an excellent leadership record and most importantly POTUS sticks to his principles unlike Mitt. It was epic and sublime 😀

I want to say something really mean about this ‘woman’.. I’ll instead LAUGH my arse off over the ignorant foolish fools who follow this REPUBLICAN Arianna Huffington. Yeah Newt Run for Arianna- maybe she can be your campaign manager.. oops wait- thats what the Huffington Post is for- free FREEE media representation from HP + FOX ought to make you a shoo in Mr. Gingrich. Two completely dispicable human beings- made for one another.

How long will it take for a diary at DailyKos to headline the many wonderful traits of Newt Gingrich and how ‘progressives’ should all vote for him…? 3…2…1 !

All the so-called “liberal progressives” who drink and post at the fountain of Arianna also happen to be the biggest attackers of President Obama. These “progressive” opportunistic racist losers abound on radio and always tout their posts on Huff post and nothing President Obama does is ever good enough!!!
Norman Goldman, Karel, etc. Wannabe’s with a personal agenda of get rich quick while badmouthing President Obama. The new formula for airtime and a few bucks!!!
They all better make the most of it because the gig’s up and the formula is failing woefully!!!

I am often out of the loop so I developed my impressions of Huffington Post as a reader without knowledge of the kind of background the article posted on this day’s “Obama Diary” provides. I decided just by reading and contributing that there was never a pro President Obama article or pro First Lady Michelle Obama article either. I mean NEVER. I spent a great deal of time on the comment boards when there was the inevitable critical article, putting in my counter arguments, so I know there were PLENTY of those. When I heard the site was sold I felt affirmed in my observations. Now I wouldn’t go there any more than I would visit Redstate or other ultra Right blogs. Its interesting to see the controversy about compensation for writers that is happening now. That fits with my negative feelings as well.

I went home this weekend and showed my mom clips of the WHCD and she didn’t get the joke about Madam Huff’N’Puff-the one about going to other people’s parties and stealing their food and dinks and bringing back to the Huff’s party- so I let her know that Lady Huff’N was a know-nothing DINO. I told her that where the wind bloweth, there goeth Madam Huff. My mother was very surprised because from what she’d heard-my mother’s only source of news are NPR and World News Tonight on ABC-Huffy was an American Dream story. She was an immigrant who ‘worked hard’ and just made over $300 million off of ‘her’ brain-child. Suffice it to say, my mother was shocked to hear about the duplicitous nature of the Huff and I don’t think she believed me. I will be e-mailing her Madam Huff’s tender love letter to the GRINCH, post haste. Oh, and I think I will add the politicususa article as it has such a lovely picture of the turncoat and the morally banckrupt asshat.

I always felt that Arianna was an opportunist. I nearly had whiplash when she started mouthed championing the poor. Then it clicked. She realized that populism means that she could penetrate the online world and then sell it to a major buyer. It is all about money, not principle. She has the luxury to stay on the sideline and b!tch because she doesn’t have to do the hard work and make a decision that need to be ratified by the majority in congress, 30%, always 30% of whom believe that the earth is flat.

Watch and see, the gig is almost up for Arianna!!!
Even with all the money she just netted herself, she looks as wretched as her soul is ugly!!!
      Karma Arianna, Karma!!!
