Chairwoman Wasserman-Schultz let me know on Good Morning America that once again, President Obama makes great choices. She was amazing with curious George.

Could George have been any clearer about being in the tank for Romney? Fear of Romney? Really? Rethugs can lie and call our president vile names but dems aren’t supposed to respond with the truth. Debbie was spot on with her response. So glad she is DNC chair.

I know!!! George was ridiculous. I came here with the express goal of commenting on that! Fear? Is he for real? Has that fool lost his everloving mind? If the great flip-flopper ever got the repug nomination, PBO would only have to stare at him and the flopster would cave. George, for shame man, for shame. So disappointed in your idiocy.

I think George asked the wrong question. Do Democrats fear Romney? NO! Do Dems fear that the media will drink the Romney Kool-Aid, disregard his flip flops and turn him into the great white hope to take down Obama? yes.

I so agree with what everyone has said here. Maybe it was an attempt to bumping up ratings. Trying to show the GOP that ABC will poke at the Dems. It’s always silly season with the media.

Romney is to be feared? He couldn’t even beat John McCain in the GOP Primaries in 2008. And yes, George, as Wasserman-Schultz is saying, he is to pitied because he is twisting himself into a pretzel depending on which crowd he is standing before. Not to mention he’s as boring as a bowl of boiled rice.

Chipsticks my friend you are wonderful. I just wrote about this appearance on another thread and boom! you get the video and upload it. It was wonderful to watch the video again and I am so glad President Obama chose Congresswoman Schultz as chair of the DNC. 😀

This is off topic Chipsticks but I am so upset about this anti gay bill about to pass in Uganda this week that Calls for the execution and life imprisonment of whoever is gay and comes out to be gay. But the most upsetting is that this was all pushed by “PRO LIFE CHRISTIANS” evangelical Pastors from America who are brain washing Africans that gays are Evil People. If this is what Christianity is becoming am on my way to becoming an Atheist. Damn it. I have a family member who was planning to travel to Uganda this summer with her partner now she is in tears. We live in an Evil world.

OT, but thought y’all might like to take a gander inside Obama’s Chgo 2012 headquarters:

This is an interesting look at the way the media works things up. Debbie (love her!) says a few fairly mild, truthful things about Romney in a very calm voice, and GS, who’s among the relatively sane, says, Wow! You must really fear him! It’s ridiculous — it has to be all adrenaline pumping, all the time.

I agree that Congresswoman Schultz is a good choice! I’m perplexed by George’s comment – must be too much caffeine.

I think Georgie was simply surprised. Most Dems are wimps when it comes to defending their own party and run away from the president rather than support him. DWS is one of the few Congress critters that always stands up for the prez (as soon as he was nominated) & the Party. Bless her.

Fear…..????George what are you smoking? That was a piece of clear analysis. She just depicted Romney coldly without emotion. Go Debbie!

I think George’s retort about fearing Romney was knee-jerk and a lame attempt to gin up some controversy to try to get people interested in an election that quite frankly no one is interested in right now. They want a horse race. Ain’t gonna get one, but it won’t stop them from manufacturing one anyway. Sad.

You’re right Tien Le, but if poor George wants to gin anything up other than real news, he should kindly offer his resume to Herr Murdock and switch over to Fox (Fake-ass) News(Propaganda) Channel (Reich). Have I mentioned how disappointed I am in George? Sad 😦

I sent George Stephanopoulos an email. I told him that this President doesn’t fear Romney. This President will gladly take on any GOP challenger who is put in his pathway. I told George this President didn’t fear Hillary and Bill Clinton, so he sure ain’t afraid of Romney. I told him it was a stupid question, but I have come to expect those from you Mr. Stephanopoulos.

LOL Good one annibella! What’s up with this fool – why would the Prez fear any of those muppets? Glad that someone’s got the Prez’s back and tells it like it is.
