‘running from his record’

Excellent, they’re eating each other alive:

Rick Santorum: “I greatly respect Governor Romney and admire many of his personal and professional accomplishments, but his work to institute the precursor to national socialized medicine is not one of them. Both Romneycare and Obamacare infringe upon individual freedom and exponentially increase the government’s healthcare cost burden.  Romneycare has, in fact, not made healthcare better or saved costs in Massachusetts. It’s done just the opposite.”

Looks like I’m going to have to take stock in Orville Redenbacher popcorn because the clown show to come is going to be quite entertaining.

Please let the first debate begin soon.

And then we’ll be able to use all their words against them in the general election, when they try to explain to families why they are advocating to kick children off their parents’ insurance, or to reinstate the insurance companies rights in discriminating against those with pre-existing conditions. By the general election, more families will be enjoying the benefits of HCR, and they will react just like the seniors did when the Republicans tried to take away their Medicare. And of course, they don’t have any alternative ideas of their own. Lovely!

WOW..I just saw Chris Matthews do an excellent take down of Politico’s Jeanne Cummings who was literally going out of her way to pretend that Newt Gingrich is not using racially charged rhetoric against the President. Matthews didn’t back down, he kept pressing and pointing out facts, until Cummings sheepishly relented and said “I can’t defend it.” This is must see. Chipsticks, if you are able, at some point could you post this segment of Matthews’ Hardball?

She looked so ignorant trying to defend Newt. Definitely a must see.

Santorum was also mentioned in the John Ensign ethics report.

I saw Hardball tonight too and it was great! Chris was on his game tonight and even though Jean Cummings tried to wiggle her way out of calling Newt the scum that he is, Chris didn’t let her get away with it. I also loved his coverage of Mitt Romney’s speech and the discussion he had with Congresswoman Schultz where she compared Romney to the Wizard in the Wizard of Oz. She mocked Romney by saying that his campaign was like when Toto pulled back the curtain and the “real” wizard was revealed. Then the wizard told everyone “don’t pay attention to the man behind the curtain”. She used that scene to illustrate Romney’s lack of convictions. She said that if one was to question Romney on any issue, he would say one thing, then another and another and another.. until he twisted himself into a pretzel. Gosh.. She’s dynamite. Dems need to get more spokesmen like her out into the repug controlled media.

Thanks Chipsticks for adding Mass current Gov. Deval Patrick w/Lawrence. I did lean forward for that clip! Why hasn’t Gov Patrick been interviewed on MSM? Do you think he’ll be invited to give his opinion on HCR on any given Sunday??? Thanks again, I needed to hear that from him.
