Vice President Joe Biden arrives at the Blair House in Washington, May 12, for a meeting on the budget

Reuters’s Jeff Mason threw in a question about where Biden got his shades. “I’ve been wearing these shades more years … probably than you’ve been alive,” Biden joked.

I will say I was extemely disappointed in him when he made those remarks about “Barack being clean and articulate” way back when.. I have since forgiven him – but frankly would not have, if POTUS hadn’t done so himself. I believe in Joe’s basic goodness and honest spirit, I reckoned our brilliant President did too.

Yeah, and me too, sherijr, Joe Is cool, and Sexy too IMO. Yep, I was hoping that President Obama would choose Senator Joe Biden, to be his Vice President. One of the things that I like about Joe, Is, He’s Candid, he’s Real, and he seems like LOTS of fun, and Laughter. I also get the feeling that President Obama likes hanging with Joe, which Is nice 🙂

VP Biden sometimes reminds me of Neil Diamond. And whenever I hear the song “forever in blue jeans” I think of VP Biden 🙂

    Love you, Joe!!

This is OT, but a good preview:

    Gates on bin Laden raid
Secretary of Defense Robert Gates tells Katie Couric the bin Laden mission was one of the most courageous decisions he’s ever seen a president make. Couric interviews Gates this Sunday, May 15 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

    Joe looks fab.

Not sure if this was discussed yet but props to John McCain.
In a speech on the Senate floor on Thursday, Arizona’s John McCain said that waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques are not necessary to the U.S. success in the war on terror.

“It was NOT torture, or cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment of detainees that got us the major leads that ultimately enabled our intelligence community to find Osama bin Laden,” he said.

not sure why the clip is not embedding but yeah McCain put the “Bush and water boarding lead to Bin Laden” meme to rest. Well that is if MSM decides to report facts and not GOP fantasy.

What is it with our President and Vice President and shades, when they put them on they look pretty darn good. Old Joe look good in that picture with his shades. Okay I have that out of the way. I hear what the Secretary of Defense Richard Gates said about the call our President made. It was one of the gut call made by a President. That is the reason why Hannity and FOX made up this FAKE controversy over Common coming to the White House. They were sick of hearing the praise being given to President Obama for getting bin Laden. So they made up some fake B.S. and the media went along with it.And yes I heard Sen. McCain and what he said about torture. He came out and call Dick Cheney, Rumsfeld, and all the Bush kronies liars. He said torture and waterboarding don’t work. The person will say what ever he thinks you want to hear to get you to stop. He said the information which lead to bin Laden did not come from any of those terrorists that were waterboarded and torture by the Bush people. So folks, McCain called Cheney a big fat liar. How about that folks. G.W. Bush doesn’t deserve an ounce of credit for getting bin Laden. One more thing, I was not a fan of G.W. Bush, so I’m sure I said some no so nice things about him, but I never disrespected Laura Bush the way the rightwingers have disrespected Michelle Obama. But that is what makes me respect her so much, is despite all the B.S. she keeps her head held high and go about during her business. She is a great First Lady.

It was one of the gutsiest call ever made by a President, that is what Robert Gates, not Richard Gates said.

Oh wise ones, which road should we take: VP Biden’s heartwarming SMILE, or ex-VP Cheney’s persistent SNARL?

    Please advise.

Vice President Biden is so warm and I recall his story about his mother. She told him when he was bullied to go back outside and beat that bully’s ass. As gentle as I know he is with his wife and family, if push came to shove I think he would give out some whoop ass to those messing with our President.

Chipsticks post some of the comments from the Senate hearing with the Oil CEO’s. Believe me you they are the real THUGS….
