Lived the first 22 years of my life in Texas …. a long time ago. It would do that State a world of good to cast its Electoral College votes for President Obama. In fact, it would be transformational in so many ways – all good.

For those who doubt it can happen, I have this to say:

Perry and all his hateful followers are no match for us, I assure you.

      Yes.We.Can. … DO.More.Together!

Oh chipsticks, that would be me and beyond. Am dreading the day he will be 100 feet from me. My will is already written because I know I will die from Obama-shock-mania. It’s a deadly and fatal disease. No cure.

I think President Clinton also has rock star status. The Lewinsky scandal only added to his mystique. But I still think President Obama has something special. Women, men, children, young, old, black, white, brown and all the colors in between, people just have a special reaction to him.

I disagree with you em bee, the Lewinsky scandal was a terrible botch on Clinton’s presidency. I voted for Clinton twice, I think he was a pretty good President, but I think of what Hillary must have felt, and I think of his daughter, what she must have went through. The whole Lewinsky scandal was a disgrace. When he told Hillary about it, I wish she would have given him a left hook, then a right, then a upper cut.

Then she should have told him to go back to the Oval Office and do the work the voters elected him to do.

Yes I too agree with this. I didn’t make myself too clear here, so sorry. Not agreeing with the Lewinsky statement.

I agree with anniebella here. Although I think Clinton’s status is now better than when he was in office, I would not say the Lewinsky scandal added to the mystique. I think it hung a dead fish around his neck that still stinks. He had a major flaw in regards to his power. I do not see PBO making that same move. It bothers ne to think of women flirting with him. That is just ugly and disrespectful to Michelle.

M, I think it is disrespectful to Michelle Obama too. As I said I put myself in that situation and I wouldn’t want any woman touching or squeezing my husband behind. Or flirting with him.

Love, love, LOVE that man! The more I see him work, see his choices, his reactions, the more I admire him. We are incredibly lucky to have his services, have his leadership. We are all, everyone, fortunate to live in the Era of Obama.

Texas is a lot like New York City. They voted Democrat until the Republicans stole the election. Like the rest of the states, they weren’t smart enough to check to see if servers were redirecting votes and ballots were being tossed. George Bush is nothing like a Texan. He’s an actor!
