WTF that has to do with anything when there are people who call the Obamas monkies and all sorts of degrading words who still hold positions today!! don’t fret P- haters ARE going to hate.. cannot stop them and they’ll find anything to carry on about. I left a comment at eclectablog’s blog on a racist bumper sticker that he wrote about (about POTUS). In my comment I referred to Tea Party People as ‘teabaggers’. Now frankly, I didn’t give any thought to that term being ‘disrespectful’. But I was called out for it by another commentor, who basically compared a racist bumper sticker to me using the term teabagger. Some Folks have very little sense these days, either by choice or by dna.. I haven’t figured it out yet. But my money is on the belief that they’re mostly full of BS- by choice.. and we cannot change them, sometimes I think we have to challenge their BS and sometimes I think we need to shut them off, tune them out and give them as little voice as possible.
As for FLOTUS- no one can take away her joy, her class or her grace. Her light is bright and I seriously pity anyone who chooses her for a target. and.. she IS First Lady of The United States of America and by heaven gets to invite any soul she chooses to the White House. Rock on Michelle.

I never quite get that the party that is capable of forgiving folks like Foley, Craig, Gingrich, and Ralph Reed are so unwilling to forgive someone who has done much less. It just shows their stunning hypocrisy. They are supposed to be the party of Christ, morality, and family values but they have a different standard of behavior for themselves than they do for others. I can’t recall the number of times I’ve had someone on the right claim that PBO “lied” about one thing or another because he couldn’t get a certain thing done, but the same people will not admit that GWB’s lies caused over 4,000 of our troops to lose their lives in Iraq and thousands of Iraqis to lose theirs.

When I stood up for PBO this week after 2 people wrote nasty comments I decided to engage as little as possible, but to let them know I would not tolerate the underlying racist tone. I called them out on that and moved on. I too wonder if what I said will do any good, but I really hope that somehow it will. I felt like my NOT saying something would do more harm.
