Chips, I hope you’re having a Great Day. I would like to say that “AMAZING GRACE” Is a very moving, Emotional, and just a Tear Jerker. It brings tears to my eyes EVERY time I hear It, no matter WHO sings It. There’s a lot of History behind this song. It’s a Humbling kind of song, and then, It tells us just how GREAT, and POWERFUL GOD Is. We,his People, will never live up to GOD’s Expectations on our own, It’s his GRACE that Saves and Keeps us. It’s his Grace that will get us to HEAVEN, because It’s not the little Good that we do, we just can’t earn It. Chips, thanks for choosing this song or Hymnal for starters. It was touching :-). It reminds me to Pray and Thank GOD for WHO he Is. Thank you Chips.
Thank you Chipsticks for posting this video. What an appropriate song for us to hear and meditate on this beautiful day where we celebrate the unconditional love of a wonderful mother. My dear Mother passed six years ago, and it is still a joy to hear this song and know the history also behind it. My mother taught me to play and sing Amazing Grace before I was taught any others. So thanks so much Chipsticks.And I must say, I love to hear Wintley Phipps sing it. He was great. It was a lovely day, but I still miss my mother so very much. I could also see that the song moved POTUS, FLOTUS, VPOTUS, SLOTUS. and the Clintons very much. It is amazing how God is so loving to knock on our hearts door ,and if we allow his grace to come in with our faith, it is such a gift to have everytime we need it. I am grateful to each of you on this site. Thank you for your love, support, and respect for each other.
